Description of the child: Then the angel told her about the nature of the child she would bear: “This one will be great, and he will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.” (Luke 1:32-33). These words indicate that the child will be a king with eternal authority, by which he means Jesus Christ
