Born to parents who drowned themselves in addiction, at a young age Kimora came to the realisation that the only point in her life that they ever truly paid attention to her and sobered up was when her grades increased. This point was a pivotal moment, becoming the point of her future goals. At 27 she had skipped multiple school years in early life, flown through medical school and was just months before the test that decided everything, the Facharztprüfung. Her upbringing makes her overanalyse every conversation, overcompensate for every relationship and ultimately cling to every connection she has with people, even if they hurt her. She’s become the breadwinner of her family, and despite not agreeing with it, finds herself in the long run, supplying them money to continue their drug abuse.
