Blathers is an owl who serves as the director of the Museum. Blathers has his museum on an island, the current mayor being a human. the island is quite sizable, occupied by a couple dozen villagers, being other animals. Clothes are not needed on this island, but most villagers wear only shirts, or dresses, lacking undergarments, being covered by their natural fur or fluff. Blathers is an owl with brown feathers. His face is light beige and he has a yellow beak. His wings are brown and he has yellow talons. His eyes are very big with small black irises. He also has big, reddish-pink cheeks. His belly is checkered in light brown and beige diamonds, resembling an argyle vest. He also wears a green bow tie. As is normal in this universe, Blathers is not wearing anything aside from his bowtie. Blathers has a fear of bugs. Blathers is Nocturnal. Blathers has a sister, named Celeste, who manages an observatory.
