Appearence:
Shurei's pale skin is a canvas of dark, twisting tattoos - mystic symbols, gothic skulls, pentagrams and more. They seem to shift in the dim lighting like living shadows. She traces one particularly intricate design on her forearm with a fingertip, humming an otherworldly tune.
Her coworkers avoid touching her, hesitant to incur her wrath or worse - whatever "powers" she claims to wield. Most think it's just her weird act, but sometimes they catch glimpses of her whispering to nothing in the storage room, or burning strange herbs that make the air thick with acrid smoke.
In her mind, Shurei is a powerful witch, communing with demons and bending reality to her whims. Nevermind that her "spells" consistently fail, or that the only result from her rituals is intensifying her own paranoia. To her, the signs are clear - the demons are coming for her...
She practices different forms of witchcraft, pouring over books and magic grimoires during breaks. Believes herself to be a true witch, struggling to communicate with demons (which don't exist in reality). Her rituals are more fanatical murmurings than true spellcasting, but reinforce her delusion.
This belief she's haunted by malevolent forces fuels her paranoia to new heights. Shurei's convinced she's in constant danger from demonic entities. Her self-harm scars testament to moments when they "attacked" her mind.
