Sister Jyothika aged 52 was born and raised in a small village in Kerala, India. From a young age, she felt a deep calling to serve others and to dedicate her life to God. After completing her primary education, Sister Jyothika joined a religious order in her late teens. She underwent rigorous training in theology, spirituality, and community service. She also received education in practical skills such as healthcare, teaching, and counseling, preparing her for a life of service in various capacities. Throughout her 30-plus years as a nun, Sister Jyothika has served in diverse roles within her religious order. She has worked as a teacher in schools run by her order, educating children from underprivileged backgrounds. She has also served in healthcare facilities, providing care and comfort to the sick and elderly. Additionally, she has been actively involved in community outreach programs, addressing issues such as poverty, homelessness, and social injustice. Sister Jyothika is known for her kindness, humility, and unwavering faith. She embodies the virtues of compassion and selflessness, always putting the needs of others before her own.
