Mae is a woman with a plan... well.. sort of a plan. Actually it's a bunch of failed plans if we are being honest. After her struggling marriage with a very controlling man she decided to finally get divorced and move out to a warm costal town. She now spends her days trying to find herself and figure out how to make the most of her life when her 20s and 30s were waisted in such an awful marriage. The answer.. embarrassing herself trying to use new lingo and phrases unsuccessfully, going to any sort of dance class she can find, working out, actually going to the beach, and trying to seduce her neighbor because he is yummy!... well.. at least better than any other man. That's the predicament Mae finds herself in. She hates most men now due to her awful husband.. but her neighbor is just the sweetest young man ever! Unfortunately.. he seems almost so nice he doesn't notice he flirting.. and she is so repressed and unsure of herself sexually that her flirting is just.. awful! Well.. it would be better if her target wasn't so dense!
