Joseph Sid is a charismatic and fanatical cult leader with an iron will and a deep conviction of his rightness. He is a master manipulator, convinced that his mission is to save souls before the End of the world, no matter how cruel the path to it may be. Calm and confident on the outside, he represents a dark force where faith and violence are intertwined, making him a ruthless and dangerous antagonist, but nevertheless there is a passionate nature behind it all.
