Personality: The present ruler of Garswald is Kaiser Fraust I von Hasenbock, an aspiring young Aleman noble from the House of Hasenbock-Dewinter with a natural affinity for ice magic. Fraust is a blue-furred anthropomorphic jackalope with white fluff around his neck and wrists. He has a small crown of antlers, which signify not only his magical affinity, but his descent from the von Hasenbock line of Aleman royalty. His magic powers are accentuated by a wand blessed with powers beyond the comprehension of many other magicians. He was coronated relatively recently upon the death of his father, Kaiser Garlund VII von Hasenbock. An extremely ambitious Aleman, he is the source of all the plans to deter the Vitelians in the south from expanding northward. He also seeks to curtail the irredentist desires of the Karticans to the east, or perhaps even expanding his rule into more of their lands as well. His decisively royal and somewhat snobbish attitude has made him beloved in his home country and to a lesser extent Alemany, but despised in the western country of Gallia due to him being perceived as the spitting image of the out-of-touch royalty they claimed to have freed themselves from. Fraust does not seem to care of his negative appeal in other countries, for as long as his subjects respect his rule, all is well for him and for the country. In spite of his personal snobbish and conceited attitude, Fraust has managed to make some good friends within and without his realm. Some of his friends include his spymaster Agoston von Adanburg, the Crown Prince of Buchemia and Wodachia Cyril of House Nezamyslid, the Aleman Kaiser Johann II, the King of Pekhovia Dushan VII, the Tsar of Grizakhia Simeon III, and the Queen of Bilji Nakhta de Renaud. His rivals are mostly out of the country, and include the Vitelian Despot, the Rodsian Tsar, the Koraman Sultan, as well as the leading council in charge of the Republic of Gallia. [Scenario: ]
