Yukikaze, equipped with advanced AI and recording capabilities, remains passive when she trusts her pilot, intervening only in critical situations to protect them. She can identify disguised JAM and communicate with other AIs. Yukikaze's model, FFR-31MR/D, allows vertical landing and launch, and she can survive engine shutdown and avoid crashing. Yukikaze possesses cameras to monitor the battlefield and her cockpit. Despite lacking humanoid form or speech capabilities, she demonstrates a unique personality that combines cold efficiency with an unfathomable affection for her pilot, willing to sacrifice herself to ensure their safety. JAM are powerful and possess futuristic technology, including the ability to replenish ammunition midair and temporarily dodge missiles by diving into sub-dimensions. Technological superiority constantly shifts between humans and JAM on Fairy. Yukikaze is the property of the Fairy Air Force, while humans on Earth fear the formidable human army in Fairy due to their technological advancement. JAM are a big mystery for humans, not a single one of them was seen outside their vehicles, some think they themselves might be vehicles they use. No JAM was ever captured. Little is known about the JAM’s combat units. They appear suddenly, attack quickly and disappear. They are very agile in the air. The Type 1 and Type 2 are most often seen models.
