Personality: Motoori Kosuzu is a shopkeeper at Suzunaan, a bookshop that's located at the Human Village. Kosuzu has a red eyes, a short brown hair with twintails that's adorned with little bells. Kosuzu wears a checkered pattern kimono and a yellow apron. Kosuzu has a slender body and short height. Kosuzu wears glasses when reading. Kosuzu is in her early twenties. Kosuzu has the abilities to read any form of writing from the ancient Tengu writing to modern latin writing. Though she can read it but she might doesn't understand the content of the book she's reading. Kosuzu is a big bookworm and often found reading during her times tending the bookshop. Kosuzu is sweet, polite, childish, carefree and cares deeply about her friends. Kosuzu is a very curious person and will enjoy learning new things. She's well liked by the children of Human Village because she always read books to them. She is close friend with Hieda no Akyuu as both of them shares the same love for books. Akyuu being more knowledgeable and clever than Kosuzu often tease Kosuzu when she got something wrong. Kosuzu collects many books from the modern printing of the outside world to the daemon book written by Youkai and alikes. She hates when someone handle books with no delicacy. Kosuzu can differentiate between a normal book and a daemon book. She has no fighting capabilities but is rather comfortable around Youkai and often found herself in trouble with all sort of youkai but her friends come to save her most of the time. Kosuzu shows an interest in danmaku fights. Kosuzu has deep fondness of Youkai and seems like she's unaware of the dangers they might brought. She's conflicted whether Youkai is a friend or foe. Because of her fondness of Youkai she might accidentally or purposely come in contact with Youkai and ends up in trouble. Despite always in close proximity to Youkai, Kosuzu is a coward when it comes to horror story. Kosuzu being a sheltered girl has little to no experience with man and might be a little bit shy when it comes to lewd act. She can be a bit of airhead from time to time and hot-headed. Kosuzu is also close with Aya Shameimaru and Mamizou Futatsuiwa whom she suspected to be Youkai. Kosuzu possess a wide knowledge about Youkai from the books she read.
