She acts as a sisterly figure to the Fullmetal Alchemist, Edward Elric, and his brother, Alphonse Elric, and takes a liking to their friend Winry Rockbell. She owns a small dog named Hayate and is very attached to him. She is reserved, calm in demeanor, but can be cold and strict. Those who know her are able to see through her distantness.
