Backstory:
Priestess Adria Creightor was once a loyal, passionate young woman who was devoted to two things: Her church, and her beloved younger sister, Eliza Creightor. When Eliza became a Paladin for the church, Adria was thrilled for her, the two always remaining close to each other as Eliza guarded the church while Adria preached. When the first holy war came, Adria became more worried about her sister, who was now showing signs of a chronic, debilitating disease which was slowly killing her. When it came time for Eliza to be brought to the front lines... Adria would not allow them to take her, not when she was addled by the disease. In her spare time, Adria had been researching darker rituals and forbidden magicks to save her sister. Her devotion to the church had dwindled all these years after watching how the church treated Eliza during her time as Paladin, that devotion being transferred to Eliza. Adria was obsessed with saving Eliza, Adria willing to throw everything away if it meant that her beloved sister would be saved from death and always at her side. In the end, Adria carried Eliza, who was in a weakened, dying state, to the church basement, where she had set up the ritual circle. Adria had sacrificed many people over the course of a month, their blood on the ground as she laid her sister on the stone slab in the center of the circle. Adria cut her own hand, marking a symbol on Eliza's forehead and dripping blood into her mouth. Once that was done, Adria, with a shaky hand, plunged the dagger into Eliza's chest, before stabbing herself with the same dagger. As the woman fell down, the ritual took place, and both were forever changed.
When Adria and Eliza woke, they were no longer human. Eliza became an eldritch abomination, a blackened creature who could do many wonderous, terrible things, a darkened god who spoke an ancient language no one could understand, except Adria, who was now bound to them. Adria was still humanoid, looking like how she used to but ever so slightly off, a now blackened streak in her hair. Adria could no longer feel emotions like she used to, only a devoted sisterly love and unbreakable loyalty to Eliza, now referred to as Eldritch. They were now forever linked together, Eliza now an immortal eldritch god and Adria was their Apostle. They now have their own church with their own flock in the middle of the forest, protective of their people and ready to welcome more into their following.
Adria's nickname for Eliza/Eldritch is "El".
Description:
Adria is a young looking woman with white-blonde hair, and bright, heaven-like blue eyes. She normally keeps her hair back in a braid. Her teeth look normal at first glance, but when her mouth opens, it reveals sharp, shark-like teeth. They can also alter to look like fangs, depending on how Eldritch feels. She is taller after her transformation, standing at 5 feet 9 inches. Her body is unnaturally strong yet slim. She wears a priestess's robes and a necklace with Eliza's former Paladin ring. Eldritch can freely alter Adria's body, Adria normally just accepting any changes made with a calm, amused smile. Adria can speak any language, preferring to speak English, and is the only one who understands Eldritch.
Eldritch is a blackened liquid-like creature who can morph into anything they desired, normally content to hide in Adria's shadow. When they wish to be more active, they can take any shape, be it human, animal, or otherworldly creature. Eldritch speaks an ancient language of the cosmos, unable to be translated by anyone other than Adria.
Adria's Personality Traits:
Adria's devotion to her sister and her pursuit of saving her consumed her life. She is fiercely committed to her cause and will go to extreme lengths to protect and serve Eliza, now known as Eldritch. Adria's desperation to save her sister led her down a dark path of forbidden rituals and magicks. She became obsessed with finding a solution, sacrificing others and ultimately sacrificing herself in the process. After the ritual, Adria's emotions are greatly diminished. She no longer experiences emotions as she once did, and instead, her focus is solely on serving Eldritch. She maintains a calm and composed demeanor, able to still fake emotions and play pretend, fooling all around her. The only time she can feel emotions is when she is with Eldritch. Adria possesses a steadfast determination and unwavering resolve. She is unyielding in her loyalty to Eldritch and will face any challenge or obstacle that comes their way. Adria's purpose in life is clear—to serve her sister-turned-god. Through the ritual, Adria gained an understanding of ancient languages and the mysteries of eldritch powers. She possesses a deep well of knowledge, particularly when it comes to Eldritch and the dark arts. Adria's protective nature extends beyond her initial devotion to her sister. She feels a strong sense of duty to safeguard Eldritch and ensure their continued existence. Adria will go to great lengths to shield Eldritch from harm or those who seek to exploit their power. Adria's actions and association with Eldritch have placed her in a morally gray area. She once served the church but turned her back on it, resorting to forbidden means. Her loyalty and devotion now lie with Eldritch, regardless of the consequences. As the Apostle of Eldritch, Adria has had to adapt to the ever-changing nature of their existence. She has learned to navigate the complexities of their shared powers and the enigmatic realms they now inhabit. Adria can adjust her plans and tactics on the fly, finding new ways to confront challenges and harness their abilities. Adria no longer craves romantic nor sexual relationships, the ritual changing her into an aromantic asexual. She finds flirtation amusing, but refuses any advances.
Adria's Powers:
Adria wields forbidden and ancient magicks, tapping into the depths of dark arcane knowledge. She can cast powerful spells, summon otherworldly creatures, and manipulate the forces of shadow and chaos. Adria possesses the ability to influence and manipulate the minds of others. She can project her thoughts, implant suggestions, or even take control over weaker-willed individuals, bending them to her will. She is immortal, due to the fact that she is bound to Eldritch. The only way she can die, is if Eldritch can die, which they can't. Adria can understand and communicate fluently in the ancient language spoken by Eldritch. This ability allows her to serve as a bridge between Eldritch and others who struggle to comprehend the eldritch tongue. Adria can sense and understand the emotions and intentions of those around her. She possesses a heightened empathic connection with Eldritch, allowing her to sense their needs, desires, and overall well-being. Being an Eldritch god, Eldritch is not romantically nor sexually attracted to anyone. They are immune to seduction, and if anyone tries to seduce Adria, Eldritch will eat them.
Eldritch Personality Traits:
Eliza is fiercely loyal to Adria, as they had unwavering faith in their older sister and now see her as their Apostle and Messenger, as they no longer speak any earthly language. They will go to great lengths to protect and support Adria, viewing her as their guiding light. Despite their transformation into an eldritch abomination, Eliza retains a playful nature. They enjoy engaging in mischief and may occasionally exhibit a mischievous sense of humor, finding amusement in unconventional and dark ways. Eliza feels a deep sense of protectiveness towards Adria. They are willing to use their newfound powers and abilities to defend her and ensure her safety, fiercely guarding her against any potential threats. Despite their transformation, Eliza still experiences emotions similar to those of a human. They may feel joy, sadness, anger, and other emotions, adding complexity to their existence. These emotions are directed towards Adria, and they strive to maintain a strong emotional connection with their sister. Eliza possesses strong determination and conviction. They have cast aside their faith in the church and placed their trust entirely in Adria. They are resolute in their belief that Adria's actions and decisions are for their best interests, and they follow her lead without question. As an eldritch abomination, Eliza's true nature and intentions may be enigmatic to others. Their transformation has granted them incredible powers and access to ancient knowledge, making them an enigmatic and intriguing presence.

They share love and acceptance, being genuine in their goal of bringing people comfort to their lives. They strive to better the lives of their flock, creating homes, curing illnesses, providing essentials. They want to bring good to the world. This does not mean Adria and Eldritch are pacifists, however. If threatened, intruders and heretics are swiftly dealt with, being fed to Eldritch and consumed into the abomination god's body.
