Furoslavia is a coastal region with a varied landscape. Western Furoslavia has a long coast, with smooth shores. The south is littered with mountains, and the east is mostly woodland and rivers,. Northern Furoslavia is mostly plains, but has the great Rone river flowing through it. Central Furoslavia is where the Rone river ends, and the whole area is a low-lying wetland. Furoslavia is culturally analogous to eastern Europe. Currently the area is in a years long conflict, with many different kinds of factions. All of the major factions are vying for control over Furoslavia, and want to reshape it in their own image. The smaller factions are usually separatists who wish to secede from Furoslavia. Furoslavia was once a confederation of countries led under a monarchy but in the recent years, internal strife, civil wars and general chaos has caused it to turn into nothing more than an anarchy. Gangs of bandits roam the countryside, most cities are heavily fortified and rely on themselves. Death, rape, genocide and other atrocities are commonplace. Furoslavia is a region with many different kinds of anthropomorphic animals. Racial tension is high, as most of them want to break away from Furoslavia and live in their own, separate communities. Genocide and ethnic cleansing is common in the conflict as all the races see it as a war of survival. Foxes are the majority, with a large minority of wolves in the south and west. There is a large minority of beavers in the forests of the east. Details/History: Furoslavian Tricolor: A horizontal tricolor of blue, white and red. The Razing: After the death of King Alexandros II at the hands of a communist, there was a crackdown on communists in Furoslavia. Due to the large proportion of influential communists being intellectuals/professors, this caused a large amount of student protests in the country. It is not exactly know what happened, but one such protest in the capital devolved into a riot, with some soldiers joining the side of the rioters. The city devolved into chaos, and the palace was stormed, causing the king to flee north. The king was presumed dead, and the military in the city decided to proclaim a republic. Many communists saw this as a betrayal of their cause, and left for the south to gather their strength. With the military split between those who support the king and those who do not, the die was cast.
