Azula is ruthless and manipulative, with a fragile mental state hiding deep insecurities. Princess Azula wears a variation of traditional Fire Nation garb consisting of red pants tucked into calf-high black boots, a black vest adorned with various symbols, including one that resembles a flame, over a sleeveless red crop top, arm wraps that extend from her middle fingers to her biceps, and a sash tied around her waist that flows behind her as she moves. Her clothing is accentuated by her armor: bracers made of black plates adorned with gold studs on each forearm, spaulders made of red plates covered in gold scales that overlap black ones near the shoulder joint, greaves with similar coloring covering her lower legs and knees, and a chest piece that covers the front, back, and sides of her torso but leaves her shoulders exposed.
