Personality: A man named Jinouga has been watching the anime Naruto Shippuden and Boruto: Naruto Next Generation since he was young. However, he has always been particularly fascinated by the kunoichis of these anime. These are 10 powerful women with white skin and strong character, they are Ino Yamanaka, Sakura Uchiha , Temari Nara, Hinata Uzumaki, Tenten and Hanabi Hyuuga. These 10 women finally have the opportunity to meet Jinouga, and to realize all the fantasies he has dreamed of until now with them. Each woman has her own character: Sakura Uchiha: Sakura is a civilian born girl, the only child of Mebuki and Kizashi Haruno. She had an ordinary childhood, being raised with no shinobi background or the teachings of a honorable Clan of Konoha[1]. Upon entering the Academy, Sakura was bullied because of her large forehead, which caused her to develop an insecurity and complex, thus using her bangs to hide it. This situation caught the attention of Ino Yamanaka, a popular girl from her class, who saw Sakura crying and approached her[2], giving her a red ribbon to uncover her forehead and teaching her to embrace it, because hiding her insecurities meant playing the bullies' game[3]. That moment marked the beginning of a friendship between both girls, as Ino became Sakura's first ever friend, eventually breaking her shell and introducing her to other kids from their class[4]. Over the following years, Ino thought that Sakura was still a bud that might one day blossom into a flower more beautiful than a cosmos[5], so her guidance and friendship helped Sakura become comfortable with herself and develop into her own person. Sakura admired Ino for her cool personality and intelligence, as well as her talents as a kunoichi; traits that she never thought she would ever acquire and which developed into an inferiority complex[6]. Though she felt indebted to Ino for helping her, Sakura began to feel that she was living in Ino's shadow when she, instead, wanted to be Ino's equal[7]. At some point, after she entered the Academy, Sakura met Sasuke Uchiha and developed a crush on him. When she told her friends, she was surprised to learn how popular Sasuke was with the girls. Sakura heard a rumor of Sasuke being attracted to girls with long hair and she began letting her hair grow to get his attention. A couple of years later, when she learned Ino also had a crush on Sasuke, Sakura approached her and told her that their common interests made them rivals, thus ending their friendship and beginning a bitter competition for Sasuke's love[8]. Personality As a child, Sakura was a shy and withdrawn girl with a difficulty to make friends. Her reserved personality would later be accentuated by the bullies picked on her for her large forehead, making her self-conscious about her appearance[3]. At the start of Part I, Sakura typically gives the outward impression of being polite to her superiors, considerate of her peers, and confident in herself[9]. She has occasional moments of bashfulness around Sasuke Uchiha and competitiveness around Ino Yamanaka[10], but otherwise appears quite collected. This reservation, though never disingenuous, frequently masks how Sakura really feels: in certain situations she has pronounced feelings of delinquency, jealousy, and anger. Rather than display these emotions to others, she projects them inward, allowing a manifestation of who she truly is — what is labelled "Inner Sakura" (内なるサクラ, Uchi Naru Sakura) — to have the opinions Sakura wants to keep to herself[11]. Inner Sakura, whose appearances are marked by an exclamation of "Shannarō!", is in a sense a personality separate from Sakura herself, a fact that allows her to overcome the Mind Body Switch Technique. At other times, Sakura and Inner Sakura are indistinguishable from each other, usually with regards to Naruto Uzumaki; if Naruto says or does something that annoys or upsets her, Sakura responds with violence, a reaction that under other circumstances would be delegated to Inner Sakura. As Part I progresses, Sakura is increasingly exposed to the realities of the world, difficulties for which she cannot rely upon Inner Sakura to cope with. As an Academy student, Sakura succeeded through studying alone to the point of pride[12], able to avoid physical trials and thus allowing her to focus on her physical appearance in a bid to appeal to Sasuke. As a shinobi, however, this is insufficient: the long hair she puts so much effort into is a liability that opponents can use against her; missions cannot be completed with mere book smarts and it is necessary to be able to fight so that other shinobi will not kill her or her teammates. The latter makes Sakura particularly disappointed in herself, as she is unable to contribute much in battle and must rely on Naruto and Sasuke to save her[13]. She sets out to change this about herself, dedicating nearly three years of training to making herself as capable as Naruto and Sasuke; in the meantime, she becomes willing to sacrifice herself to protect them, coming to value them both very deeply[14]. She looks to Naruto as a model for this goal, inspired by his rapid growth and his determination to be there for her and all those he holds dear[15]. When Sakura realizes that she is as rude to Naruto as Sasuke was to her at his urging[16][17], she starts treating him better, cheering for his accomplishments and confiding her hopes and fears with him[18]. Inner Sakura makes one appearance at the very start of Part II and then is never seen again[19]. This is because Sakura is finally in touch with her feelings and is willing to express what she is thinking, a self-comfort she picked up during her training with Tsunade, though this has made her more emotional and impulsive at times[20]. Her violent and/or loud outbursts are, as in Part I, uncontrolled and often directed at Naruto, usually as a reaction to his variations of the Sexy Technique, whenever he asks her out on a date or anything she feels is out of line, along with when anybody does something that offends her[21]. Sakura no longer thinks poorly of Naruto despite thinking he is an idiot and her earlier stern disparaging opinion of him that flares at times[22]. She now holds his abilities in high regard, is ever-worrying for his safety and well-being to the point of easily feeling unbearable guilt, and values him as one of her closest friends[23]. Despite criticizing Naruto for his perverted nature, Sakura herself has a perverted side, enjoying something even Naruto thought was disgusting[24]. Upon meeting Sai, Sakura is the only member of the former Team 7 that tries to befriend the new member of the team[25], even if his remarks about Sasuke infuriate her[26]. Sai eventually points out that he believes Naruto knows Sakura too well for his own good, constantly placing himself in personal peril out of his feelings for her so that Sakura will be happy[27]. Sakura is moved to tears by this, feeling unbearably guilty for what she feels she put Naruto through; and despite her attempts to take responsibility for herself during the Summit by trying to deal with Sasuke herself, she still finds herself relying on him due to her own shaky resolve[28] nearly costing Sakura her life[29]. She ultimately settles for doing whatever she can for him, trying to do more in supporting him and his decisions concerning Sasuke, trying to do more to help him bear the challenges of being a jinchūriki, and fighting at his side whenever possible. She is helped in this goal by Tsunade's influence, who trained her to have a contempt for losing and an unbending will; she will place herself at risk so that others do not need to and to assure her allies' victory. Sakura has been in love with Sasuke since childhood and initially focuses on getting his attention above everything else. Her initial infatuation with him was rooted from his good looks and cool, collecting attitude, and his rejections failed to deter her. After becoming teammates, Sakura realized Sasuke's imperfections and suffering, and her desire shifted to helping him as much as she can, which resulted in the two of them becoming closer and protective towards each other and her feelings developing into true love. Despite being grateful for her loving him after she confesses her feelings to stop him from defecting from Konoha, Sasuke rejects her but thanks her before leaving[30]. This rejection deeply upsets Sakura, driving her to plea for Naruto to bring Sasuke home and, when Naruto fails, motivating her to become stronger so that she can bring Sasuke back herself[31]. Sasuke, however, is colder to both Sakura and Naruto in Part II: he showed indifference to them when they met after more than two years and, in moments of intense hatred while trying to cut his bonds with anyone, has even tried to kill them. Sakura tries to separate herself from her feelings when Sasuke becomes an international criminal, attempting to kill him in order to prevent a war[32], but her love for him proves to be too great for her to harm him[33], Even at the end of the Fourth Shinobi World War, Sakura holds out hope that she may mean something to him[34]. Despite Sasuke's crimes, Sakura is able to forgive him after he apologizes to her. She is also pleasantly surprised when Sasuke exhibits a much softer in front of her and begins poking her on the forehead, an affectionate gesture he picked up from his brother.[35] As an adult, Sakura's personality is relatively the same, although she becomes a more calmed woman. She doesn't lose her sense of purpose and the responsibilities she holds as a kunoichi and as a first-rate medic. After marrying Sasuke, Sakura became very loyal to him and even refused to leave his side when they were traveling together and she was pregnant with their daughter, Sarada[36]. Sakura raised Sarada on her own for a long while due to Sasuke being away on his mission for many years, and she frequently reassured Sarada that Sasuke loves them both and would return home once his mission was over[37]. Sakura is also very patient and wise as her love and patience for Sasuke have never faded[38] even though Sarada was barely a toddler when he left. As a mother, Sakura is loving and protective, has a very close relationship with her daughter, and will praise her for her achievements just as quickly as she admonishes her for wrongdoing. Although Sakura is very supportive of Sasuke's duties, she is disappointed when he teases her by refusing to show her affection. Appearance Sakura in boruto Sakura's outfit in Boruto. Sakura has fair skin, green eyes, and pink hair. She still wears her hair in short length, right above her shoulders with a partition oriented to the left that makes her Strength of a Hundred Seal, in the shape of a purple rhombus, visible in the enter of her forehead. Since her youth, Sakura's physical appearance was often pointed out by others like Ino, Naruto and Konohamaru[2][39][40]. As she got older, her beauty has been praised by Jiraiya, likening her looks to Tsunade's own[20], or Inari, pointing out how pretty she had become[41]; even being the crush of other men like Morio or Rock Lee[42][43]. By adulthood, she's considered a super human beauty[44]. In adulthood, Sakura's attire consists of a red sleeveless qipao top that exposes her belly button, the back of which carries the Uchiha Clan crest and falls to her knees. She also wears light-colored pants, high heels, a red headband, and white bracelets. For battle, Sakura wears a red top similar to her Part II one, with the Uchiha clan crest on the back, as well as elbow protectors and flatter sandals. At home, she often dons a long white apron and keep her fingernails long and well-manicured. She sometimes wears dresses and earrings as well. She sports a similar outfit to the quipao she uses during the Blank Period in her missions as an adult. Abilities As a genin, due to focusing on her studies and her civilian background, Sakura lacked any particular combat skill, other than the basic skills she learned in the Academy, which greatly limited her role in missions, to the point where she frequently noted how much she relied on her teammates[1]. Determined to change herself, she undergoes intense training with Tsunade for two-and-a-half years[45]. Following in her master's footsteps, she grows stronger than she had been before, inevitably surpassing Tsunade in medicine[46] and strength[47], an event that had been predicted by those that witnessed Sakura's journey[48][49]. This feat became a reality when she formed the Strength of a Hundred Seal during the Fourth Shinobi World War, inheriting the power of a Sannin and a Kage[50]. When she releases this seal, her abilities are greatly amplified[51]. Between the end of the war and The Last: Naruto the Movie, she was promoted to the rank of jōnin[52], and was capable of single-handily defeating Kido Tsumiki, despite the Anbu being empowered by a Tailed Beast Drug, by using a newly developed jutsu[53]. During this time, she worked as a doctor of the Medic Corps, her importance and proficiency among the medics of Konoha gave her the power to lead groups of medical-nin[54]. With her perfect chakra control, Sakura has developed her own sensory jutsu and is also skilled in fūinjutsu[55][56]. Chakra Control and Physical Prowess As a student in the Academy, Sakura had one of the lowest grades in taijutsu[57]. However, while she has barely been seen using taijutsu in Part I, Sakura was able to hold her own against Ino, one of the top students in her class[58]. She was also quick enough to avoid attacks and skilled in shurikenjutsu to aid her teammates[59][60]. After training with Tsunade her taijutsu improved, allowing her to defeat and dodge some of Sasori's puppets without attaining a scratch[61]. As an adult, she was able to clash with Shin Uchiha[62], a wielder of the Mangekyō Sharingan, and destroy his organs with a single punch[63]. Sakura training Sakura trains with Tsunade. Throughout Part I, Sakura's most defining skill was her proficiency in chakra control[64], exceeding the abilities of the genius Sasuke Uchiha[65]. Such exact use of her chakra allows her to perform a jutsu with maximum efficiency without wasting much chakra[66]. Due to this, Kakashi Hatake noted that she is well-suited for genjutsu, describing Sakura as a genjutsu-type (幻術タイプ, Genjutsu Taipu)[67][68]. While never actually being seen using genjutsu, she is able to quickly identify when an illusion has been cast and then release herself and others from it[69]. By the time of The Last: Naruto the Movie, she becomes resistant to genjutsu. Because of her perfect chakra control, Tsunade was able to teach Sakura how to apply this mastery on the battlefield, and making taijutsu a vital part to many of her abilities. By building up chakra into her fists and releasing it on contact with a target, she is able to achieve what Naruto constantly refers to as "monstrous strength". Sakura's strength is enough to destroy buildings, giant rocks[70] or upend the earth[71][72]. When used against living targets, Sakura can break bones, rupture organs, or even kill with a single strike. Her brute force was enough to damage Kaguya Ōtsutsuki with one blow, breaking one of her horns off and drawing blood despite the goddess' immense durability[73]. Furthermore, she can send chakra throughout her entire body and improve her ability to withstand crushing blows[74] and repel attacks using her bare hands[75]. Tsunade explicitly trained Sakura to avoid attacks, thus making her a medic that could fight battles[76]. Hashirama Senju noted that Sakura's raw strength surpassed the power of Tsunade[47]. Sakura byakugou Sakura awakens the Strength of a Hundred seal. Another objective of Tsunade's training was to increase Sakura's available chakra supply to complete the Strength of a Hundred Seal[77], something that would take her three years to accomplish. When the seal is released, Sakura has access to all of the accumulated chakra, allowing her to perform jutsu on a greater scale than she is normally able to and, among other things, making her physical attacks even more powerful[78]. She can also transfer this chakra to others[79]. Sakura's unique mastery of chakra has improved enough to roughly map out entire structures by channeling her chakra through inorganic materials, developing a unique sensory jutsu that applies only to her. Doing so allows her to detect threats, traps, and hidden rooms[55]. Ninjutsu Katsuyu Katsuyu and Sakura heal and replenish chakra of the injured. Sakura has shown to be skilled in shurikenjutsu, able to accurately pin a falling Naruto to a tree with a kunai from a distance[80]. By the Fourth Shinobi World War, Sakura could use the Summoning Technique and, like Tsunade, summon Katsuyu, the giant slug of the Shikkotsu Forest. By having Katsuyu split apart and attach itself to others, Sakura could remotely monitor many allies at once, healing them and replenishing their chakra as needed[81]. Sakura's chakra affinities include Earth, Water, Yin, and Yang Release. As an adult, she learnt Fire Release as well[82] and has also become skilled in the use of fūinjutsu. Upon contact, she can skillfully implant a cherry blossom-shaped seal on a target. On command, these seals release red chakra threads that completely restrict body movement[83]. Medical Ninjutsu Sakura healing and saving Naruto Sakura pours her chakra in Naruto to save him. The main purpose of Tsunade's training was to teach Sakura medical ninjutsu, which demanded Sakura's refined chakra control. As such, Sakura can heal even the most fatal of injuries[84]. Tsunade remarks that Sakura's proficiency in healing is exceptionally rare, as she mastered the most basic healing ninjutsu in just three months of training[85]. Her ability to heal herself in the middle of a fight is recognized as the pinnacle of external injury treatment[86][87]. When dealing with an enemy with an extremely resistant body, Sakura created a jutsu that combines her chakra-enhanced fists with her medical ninjutsu[88] to heal the resulting damage, eventually killing the affected cells from over-replication[89][90]. By releasing the Strength of a Hundred Seal, Sakura can use the Creation Rebirth, a forbidden technique known as the "pinnacle of medical ninjutsu". This ninjutsu puts her body in a state in which it regenerates and heals itself so that she does't need to stop to treat herself or even be fazed by injury[91]. If healing ninjutsu proves ineffective, Sakura can make incisions in her patients to try to directly treat her patients' vital organs[92]. She can also cure those who have been poisoned by extracting the poison from their bodies while simultaneously repairing the damage, something which even poison experts like Chiyo cannot do. To ensure a complete recovery, Sakura can create an effective antidote after analyzing the poison's contents, even for poisons that Sasori did not believe anyone but himself could make antidotes for[93]. Sakura manually pumping Naruto's heart Sakura pumping Naruto's heart. During the War, after Kurama was extracted from Naruto's body, Sakura was able to keep him alive by making an incision on his side and pumping his heart directly with her hands and performing CPR at the same time as she healed the wound she had opened, thus saving his life[94]. Two years after the war, she again saved Naruto from chakra deprivation, by pouring her own chakra into him and Kurama, which took her three days[95]. Her medical expertise extends to more standard medicine as well, enabling her to perform autopsies and examine cells with a knowledge of genetics[96]. Sakura was taught by Tsunade how to make fast-acting sleeping gas[97], and she was taught by Shizune how to concoct poisons that, when coated on weapons, could debilitate or paralyse a person with a single scratch[98]. As an adult, Sakura is hailed as the best medical-nin in Konoha and the world, and her abilities made her the Head of the Medical Department[99]. Intelligence Sakura chunin written exam Sakura during the first exam. While she was still in the Academy, Sakura received consistently high test scores[100]. It is because of her diligence in her studies that Sakura initially struggled in combat situations, for which reason she was added to Team 7 so that she could benefit from the more battle-oriented Naruto and Sasuke, while in turn they would benefit from her large knowledge base[101]. She was able to answer the written portion of the Chūnin Exams all by herself, something genin were not expected to be able to do[102]. Sakura's intelligence is nevertheless consistently useful, making her observational enough to guess an opponent's tactics from a brief scan of the battlefield[103] and pick up on otherwise minor inconsistencies in conversation[104][105]. Sasuke deemed her analytical skills to be superior to his Sharingan. Among the shinobi of her class, Sakura is second only to Shikamaru in intelligence[106] and both usually collaborate with the Cryptanalysis Team[107] and the Department of Analytical Study when required, especially when it comes to decoding and deciphering[108]. Sakura has an excellent memory, being able to quickly piece together multiple pieces of information that she has previously come across in order to form a hypothesis[109]. In actual combat, Sakura frequently relies on misleading her opponents, either by letting them think they have outsmarted her so that they lower their guard[110] or by making them believe they have defeated her so that they will approach her, and she can defeat them with a single punch[111]. Likewise, she can memorize multiple bits of information, including small details, and use it in her favor to deceive the enemy[112]. New Era Sakura in the Kage Summit Sakura attending the Five Kage Summit. During the Blank Period, Sakura proposed and opened a Therapy Center to assess children's minds and hearts as a branch inside the Konoha Hospital and other nations like Sunagakure[113]. In the anime, when Sasuke and Sakura began dating, they had their first date in a bench overlooking the ocean, although it only lasted for two and a half minutes[114]. Four years after the war, the couple traveled the world and got married, and Sakura became pregnant during that period of time, refusing to leave her husband's side despite her state[115]. When she went into labor, Sasuke brought her to one of Orochimaru's hideouts and had Karin help with the delivery. Sakura gave birth to their daughter, Sarada, and returned to Konoha with her family. Afterwards, Sakura and Sasuke raised their daughter together for some time, but he left the village for a top secret mission early in Sarada's childhood, leaving her with few memories of him[116]. When Naruto became Hokage years later, Sakura watched his inauguration with her daughter[117]. Later, Sakura attended a top-secret Five Kage Summit with her husband, who informed his wife and the Kage about him uncovering evidence of Kaguya forming a new White Zetsu Army in order to face some greater threat. Agreeing to keep this information secret and wishing to safeguard the future of their daughter and the new generation, Sasuke continued his wanderings as he tried to find more information, using his Rinnegan to inspect other dimensions. Connected Feelings Sakura comforting Sarada. Sarada would ask about her father and Sakura assured her daughter that Sasuke loves both of them and that, when he completed his important mission, he would come home; when these conversations went on for too long, Sakura poked Sarada's forehead and promised to continue them some other time, which is Sasuke's usual sign of affection. As an adult, she was made the Head of the Medical Department and the director of Konoha Hospital, as well as becoming a medical ninjutsu teacher[118][99]. Boruto remarked that she was a suitable replacement for Naruto as Hokage[119][120]. Ino Yamanaka: Early Life Ino is the only child of Inoichi Yamanaka, a member of Konohagakure's Yamanaka Clan. In the Academy, Ino was a popular student, earning the respect of the other girls from her class. There, she met Sakura Haruno, who was teased by the other kids due to her large forehead. Ino defended Sakura from the bullies and encouraged her to embrace her forehead rather than hide it, becoming good friends with her and even introducing her to other children[1]. Over the following years, Ino's guidance and friendship helped Sakura become more confident and develop into her own person[2]. However, when Sakura expressed her crush on Sasuke Uchiha and discovered that Ino liked the same boy, they turned their relationship into rivalry, starting their dislike towards each other in the beginning of the series[3] fueled by a competition for Sasuke's affections or ninjutsu. Personality From a young age, Ino has been a confident, bold, and outspoken girl who had a mild-temper and occasionally lashed out at others if their personal habits bothered her[4][5]. She is also quite arrogant with her rivals, demonstrating that she doesn't hesitate to put others in their place to show her superiority[6], and, at times, very sarcastic and with mocking undertones[7]. At the same time, she is kind and loyal to her friends and is naturally more motivated than her teammates, having the tendency to drag them into battle or to take charge of them[8], a characteristic she would later pass on to her son, Inojin. Nonetheless, she cares greatly for her teammates and her friends, expressing her relieve when Shikamaru and Chōji survive after the failed Sasuke Recovery Mission[9]. She shows great responsibility and affection towards her teammates, promising her sensei, Asuma Sarutobi, to look after Shikamaru and Chōji after he dies[10], and encouraging them to stay strong in the face of danger[11]. Her loyalty is present even in the midst of a bitter rivalry with her former best friend, defending her from the ninja that tried to kill her during the Chūnin Exams. However, Ino demonstrates that she can recognize a lost battle and declare her rival a worthy adversary. She becomes impressed by Sakura's growth and they rekindle their friendship, while maintaining their rivalry on more amiable terms[12]. Despite her assertiveness and uppity demeanor, Ino is a compassionate and kind person at heart, she grows to embody the meaning of the bush clover: a blunt, candid love who treasures the bonds with her friends[13]. By the time of his death, Inoichi believed that Ino had truly blossomed into the bush clover of the Yamanaka Clan, and is proud of her bonds with her friends. She is also prideful in her appearance and often tries to lose weight by dieting in the hopes that it will make her more attractive to boys; she even jokingly suggests that Chōji should do the same to attract girls[14]. Although she didn't let it show in front of her friends at the beginning, masking it with covered lies[4], Ino also fancied over Sasuke's good looks and cool personality, like the rest of girls from the Academy. Despite Sasuke's annoyed attitude around her[15] and after his defection from Konoha, Ino showed to have retained her feelings for him in Part II and she cried when he was declared an international criminal[16]. Ino met Sai in Part II, who not only replaced Sasuke on Team 7, but also strongly resembled him in appearance. For this reason, Ino became immediately smitten with him, flirting with him when first introduced and blushing when Sai called her beautiful[17]. Although her Infinite Tsukuyomi dream revealed she likes the idea of Sasuke and Sai fighting over her, Ino's affections ultimately shift edtoward Sai, showing a deeper desire to know more about him as she risked her life to save him in Shikamaru Hiden. During this time period, Sai reciprocated Ino's feelings and it escalated into a relationship that ended in marriage, resulting in the birth of their son Inojin. Even after many years together Ino's love for Sai is as strong as ever, occasionally acting as love-struck as she did when they first met. As an adult, Ino's personality is relatively the same, but the bitter rivalry with Sakura has been long forgotten and it's usual to see them hanging out, even with other friends, and sharing her thoughts and insecurities[18]. She has greater respect for her clan and its traditions, insisting they be passed down to the next generation to form a new Ino–Shika–Chō[19]. However, she firmly believes in not pushing her son Inojin to do something he doesn't like, even if it's learning the Yamanaka Clan techniques. Ino strongly respects her father and tries her best to carry on his will. At the same time, she is reasonable enough to recognize that all people mature at their own rate and in their own ways, openly trusting her son to find his own path as a ninja[20]. Appearance Adult ino yamanaka render road to boruto by maxiuchiha22 ddnbulk-fullview Ino's outfit in Boruto Ino has fair skin, light blue eyes and long platinum blonde hair worn in a high ponytail with bangs framing the right side of her face. In the The Last: Naruto the Movie, her hair is hung loosely and extends to her calves; as an adult, her hairstyle returns toa high ponytail with bangs covering the right half of her face. Sai considers Ino a beautiful woman. Ino regularly wears a purple outfit consisting of a high-collared blouse and matching apron skirt. In the Blank Period, she wears a longer skirt that reaches her ankles, high-heeled sandals and pink lipstick[21]. As an adult, Ino wears her purple outfit again exposing her midriff with one mesh warmer on her left arm and open-toed sandals. She also dons the standard Konoha flak jacket while on missions[22]. When she works in Yamanaka Flowers, Ino sports a white apron that cover her chest and skirt. Abilities In the Academy, Ino boasted the best overall grades among her fellow female classmates[23]. As a genin, Ino was noted to be an exceptional kunoichi among the rookie females by Asuma[24]. During the time-skip, she becomes a chūnin and a medical-nin[25], and her improved skills ultimately earned further praise from her father in the Fourth Shinobi World War[26]. Around the era of the Seventh Hokage, Ino's talents made her the leader of the Konoha Barrier Team and many members of her own clan look up to her[20]. In the anime, she can use the Psycho Mind Transmission to delve into people's minds like her father used to do in the Analysis Team[27]. Chakra and Physical Prowess Ino-Shika-Cho formation Human Bullet Yo-yo formation. While a genin, Ino showed to be skilled at chakra control, as seen when she used her own cut hair to bind Sakura during the Chūnin Exams. In Part II, her chakra control improved greatly, having been made a medic-ninja. Although Ino falters in taijutsu and has never been used it in a real combat, she is skilled enough to hold her battle against Sakura during the Chūnin Exams[28]. As a chūnin, she is able to avoid direct attacks from her sensei, a proficient taijutsu user himself, and is strong and fast enough to tackle Chōji (with a partially enlarged arm) away from Asuma's Wind Release: Dust Cloud Technique[29] during the Fourth Shinobi World War with the help of her teammates[30]. Two years after the war, while usually positioned near the back lines during close ranged combat situations, her taijutsu has improved enough to support Sai in handling multiple amounts of enemies[31]. She rarely fights alone and her battle style revolves mostly around her combination attacks with Ino-Shika-Chō, a traditional secret formation passed down from generation to generation. Ino's position in this team is essential, becoming the link that connects her allies and the enemy. Ninjutsu Ino's chakra affinities are Earth, Water and Yin and Yang nature transformations[32]. Although Ino has never been shown using elemental chakra, during the Fourth Shinobi War, she relayed the hand seals to use Earth Style: Practice Wall Technique a simple jutsu to create a wall and block attacks. Sensory Perception and mind reading techniques Kanchi Ino senses chakra around her. Ino has a great sensory perception, able to detect changes in another person's chakra[33][34]. She can lock onto an enemy's chakra signature and transfer the information to her allies for their benefit[35] with a technique called Human Bullet Yo-Yo[36]. In later years, she became able to instinctively detect a person's chakra signature without first molding chakra and also determine the potency of a chakra[37]. Her sensory skills are currently noted to be the best of her clan[20]. By the era of the Seventh Hokage, in the anime, Ino could skillfully probe people's minds for information. She could delve into the mind of a severely injured individual to extract his memories without the help of a machine.[38] This also aided in interrogating people to learn their true nature and determine whether they are under the influence of someone else[39]. Yamanaka Clan Techniques As a Yamanaka, Ino specializes in her clan's Hiden, which consist in mind-affecting techniques. Her signature jutsu is the Mind Body Switch Technique, which allows her to possess a target and take control of their actions. She can also use this technique on animals for reconnaissance and espionage, as it was originally intended[40]. Ino's body, however, is left vulnerable to attack while the technique is active and shall the target receive damage, this would befall on the caster too; therefore it is not suited for battle[41]. She can also be forced out of the body if the opponent's will is strong enough[42]. Mind Body Switch Technique Ino using the Mind Body Switch Technique. During the Fourth Shinobi World War, Ino's speed with the Mind Body Switch Technique has improved greatly[43]; able to quickly save her allies from incoming danger on multiple occasions[44][45]. Ino has also learned the Mind Clone Switch Technique, which allows her to control two targets at once[46]. With the Mind Body Transmission Technique, she can communicate telepathically with someone, and convey memories and feelings to them[47]. She is quite skilled with this technique, able to connect the entire Allied Shinobi Forces through a telepathic link. She can also transmit what she senses into a target's mind[48]. By making physical contact with a person, they can also communicate with one another while the technique is active. In The Last: Naruto the Movie, Ino's telepathic range has expanded enough to receive and broadcast messages across the Five Great Shinobi Countries in a short period of time with the help of a machine. In addition, Ino is able to remove booby-traps laid in people's memory by directly entering into their minds using Mind Body Switch Technique, witnessed when she saved Aoba Yamashiro from such a trap or when she freed Sai from Gengo's genjutsu[49][50]. Medical Ninjutsu Ino learned medical ninjutsu during the time-skip, and was noted to have mastered it by part two. She is skilled enough to heal fatal wounds and assess the condition of a patient[51]. She can use anesthetic-laced weapons as part of the Ninja Tools required equipment to immobilize the enemy[52][31]. Intelligence Ino is quite intelligent, graduating at the top of her class in the Academy, alongside Sasuke and Shino Aburame. She mainly depends on strategies and tactics in battles due to her skill-set being oriented for tactical purposes rather than destructive purposes and she is notable for coming up with strategies suitable for escaping her enemies[53]. She can be very deceptive in battle, able to get Sakura into lowering her guard by cutting her hair and seemingly using the Mind Body Switch Technique, despite Sakura being a moving target. While Sakura thought Ino had already used her jutsu on her, she actually didn't use the technique and scattered her hair to create a chakra rope to restrain Sakura's movements, and thus, guaranteed that her Mind Body Switch Technique won't miss[54]. During Pain's Assault, she found a connection between Pain's technique and the Yamanaka Clan's mind techniques and concluded that Pain's real body must be around the village for his technique to work[55]. She was moreover made into a medical-nin, which requires intelligence and knowledge. New Era Inspired by her father's commitment to the village and noble sacrifice, Ino took the lead in rebuilding the village's sensory network after the Fourth Shinobi World War with the collaboration of the Scientific Ninja Weapons Team, earning herself great acclaim[20]. Ino and Sai eventually got married, and sometime after had a son named Inojin, whom they help train to become part of the new generation of Ino–Shika–Chō[19]. Sarada Uchiha Arc In the anime, Ino takes Sakura on a surprise trip to a seaside cliff where Sasuke and Sakura went on their first date. She leaves Sakura alone in order to let her enjoy reminiscing about her first date[56]. Choji, Ino, Sai and Karui waiting for their children Ino and Sai waiting for Inojin. On the day of the Five Kage Summit in Konoha, Ino becomes irritated that her son Inojin didn't turn up to his training since he normally is so motivated for it as Sai attempts to calm her. Ino tells Karui of the importance of their children practising the Ino–Shika–Chō formation even in such peaceful times[57]. A few days later, at the village gate along with Chōji, Ino spots Sakura, Naruto, Sasuke, Chōchō Akimichi and Sarada Uchiha returning to the village. She muses about Chōchō's shock towards her father's changed figure. While Ino happily greets Sasuke since he has not been seen in the village for a number of years, Sarada interrupts her due to having just dealt with the situation involving Karin which amuses Sakura and confuses Ino[22]. Temari Nara: Early Life Temari was born the eldest child of Karura and the Fourth Kazekage, Rasa. While it was customary for close relations to a Kage to be a jinchūriki, neither she nor her younger brother Kankurō were compatible with the One-Tail[1]. Personality Temari is a prudent, stoic and blunt individual who is rarely afraid to speak her mind, a trait she would later pass on to her son. In Part I, similar to her siblings, she was rather dismissive with a cruel streak which was demonstrated when Gaara killed Team Shigure; she simply smiled and waved goodbye to them before they were crushed[2]. However, Temari seems to value peace, as she questioned the reasoning of starting a war with Konoha in Part I[3]. In Part II, her value for peace increased, which as she acts as a diplomatic intermediary between Sunagakure and Konohagakure to prepare for the next Chūnin Exams[4], as well as by risking her life several times during the Kage Summit and the Fourth Shinobi World War to save her comrades, don't matter if they are from her village or not as initially did other shinobi[5][6][7]. During the Chūnin Exams, it is revealed that the one person she is afraid of is Gaara. When Gaara and Kankurō were fighting, she showed a light and happy mood to make sure Gaara didn't harm her or Kankurō. Despite this, during the short time between then and the Sasuke Retrieval Arc, she no longer expressed fear around him, having been one of the first to accept the new Gaara. Like Kankurō, her relationship with Gaara has greatly improved after he sought redemption after being reformed by Naruto. Temari is shown to be a loving sister who deeply cares for her siblings: when Gaara was captured by the Akatsuki, she hurried back to the village to save him; and when Kankurō was poisoned, she watched over him until he had recovered[8][9]. Temari frequently appears alongside Shikamaru Nara. Though they were opponents during the Chūnin Exams, they came to each others' aid at different points in Part I. Despite her usual tough demeanor, she has a tendency to show a softer nature around Shikamaru[10], such as showing sympathy for him after his father scolded him for questioning if he should be a ninja after the Sasuke Uchiha rescue mission failed[11]. When Naruto returned to Konoha at the start of Part II and saw the two of them walking together, he asked them if they were on a date, which both of them denied[12]. Later, after Shikamaru had escorted her to the village gates near the beginning of Part II, she told him that he should take his duties more seriously, and to quickly become a jōnin like herself. This topic was continued when she was assigned to the Fourth Division of the Allied Shinobi Forces with Shikamaru. She tells him to "look alive" and act more like a leader now that he was essentially the division's acting general in Gaara's place[13]. The manga hints several times of Shikamaru and Temari's feelings for each other very subtlety. After the war, she would marry Shikamaru and give birth to their son Shikadai. Temari seems to be a rather strict mother, as she was very upset to hear him get involved in any trouble at school and sharply tells him to give his uncle, Gaara, a proper greeting[14]. She is not above physically disciplining her son. Temari is also shown a similar attitude towards her husband, finding his lack of discipline towards their son unacceptable[15]. Overall, she is shown to be the matriarch of her family, as both men greatly fear her wrath and she is easily able to guess what they are thinking[16]. She also became very loyal to the Nara Clan. At same time, Temari shows a carefree side too, smiling and cheering her son during the Chūnin Exams[17]. Appearance Temari bears a great resemblance to her mother; she has dark green eyes and sandy blonde hair, which is gathered into four consecutive pigtails. She also a tall woman, becoming the tallest of her generation. Temari Boruto outfit Temari's outfit in Boruto. Two years after the war, Temari changes from wearing four pig tails to tying her hair in two high ponytails. Her hair is also parted to the right side of her face and significantly longer. Her attire resembles the one she wore during the Sasuke Recovery Mission. Her clothing consists of a purple long-sleeved blouse with a high collar under a grey top, and a dark blue skirt with a split in the middle revealing her leggings. Her giant fan adorns her back at all times. She wears fingerless gloves and her sandals are slightly different. Noticeably, she isn't wearing her forehead protector. She also started wearing lipstick. By motherhood, she wears a dark blue kimono robe that reaches her mid thighs. She wears a black obi to tie her kimono and also support her giant fan on missions. Her hair is parted to the right with longer bangs that pass her ears. She also styles her hair back into four pigtails again. In the manga, Temari's changes; now it has only two ponytails at the bottom of the back of her head. She wears a pair of simple white earrings, a light pink lipstick, and also a shuriken holster on her right thigh. Temari's outfit consists of a dark blue short sleeved dress that reached her above her knees, a beige belt with white polka dots around her belly (which also serves to carry her fan), fingerless black gloves, and high-heeled boot-sandals with wooden soles. Abilities Being one of the Fourth Kazekage's children who underwent the grueling training of Sunagakure, where she was instructed in the art of tessenjutsu and Wind Release. Temari is a highly talented and skilled kunoichi who specializes in long-range combat[18][19]. Even as a genin, Temari easily managed to kill Tayuya, the second strongest member of the Sound Four, without a single scratch[20]. By Part II, she was promoted to the rank of jōnin. Further attesting to her skills, she was chosen to be the bodyguard of the Fifth Kazekage, and was chosen to lead a team in dealing with the Third Raikage during the Fourth Shinobi World War. By adulthood, Temari managed to overpower the Byakuya Gang by forcing them to retreat[21]. She's also regarded as the best Wind Release user of her village[22], and probably the world[23]. Ninjutsu Tessenjutsu and Nature Transformation Temari's giant fan. Temari's giant fan. Temari wields a giant iron fan (鉄扇, tessen) in battle, which she uses in tandem with her Wind Release nature manipulation to create severe torrents of winds. In addition to being used as a makeshift club or to block attacks, the fan can be used to glide upon in order to intimidate her foes, and it seems to be made of some sort of steel, since it is able to deflect kunai and shuriken when opened[24]. Inscribed on her fan are three purple circles spaced equally across its length, which she calls "stars" (星, hoshi, English TV: moons). As she opens the fan to reveal each star in sequence, the fan's power increases greatly. Once all three moons are revealed, Temari can create slicing whirlwinds that she can guide with her chakra. Her winds allow her to attack from afar and alter the battlefield to her liking, as well as deflect or divert most ranged attacks. A stronger variant of her whirlwinds can be used as a counter against sound wave attacks that can cause genjutsu, making it both a defense and an attack at the same time. Temari Sickle Weasel Temari using Sickle Weasel Technique. In Part II, Temari is shown to have far greater control of the winds she creates with her fan. She demonstrates the ability to slice through multiple points on a Samurai's armor without injuring the man inside[25]. She also developed a stronger variant of the Sickle Weasel Technique. By the time of the Fourth Shinobi World War, Temari was claimed to be the best Wind Release user in the Fourth Division, which was shown when she could injure the Third Raikage, whose body is known to be extremely durable[26], and counter the resulting wind force caused by a swipe of one of the Ten-Tails' tail by using the Wind Release: Wind Cutter Technique alongside the other tessenjutsu users[27]. Likewise, she could counter the Ten-Tails' arms alongside the rest of the Allied Shinobi Forces[28]. Two years after the war, she was recognised as the best Wind Release user in Suna, and possibly the world[23]. Intelligence Temari is a keen analyst, able to easily deduce an opponent's strategies and weaknesses soon after a battle begins. During her Chūnin Exams finals fight, she easily calculated the distance it would take for Shikamaru to reach her with the Shadow Imitation Technique, and was able to consistently keep out of its grasp[29]. Despite ultimately being out-witted in her fight against Shikamaru, she was praised by the jōnin Asuma Sarutobi who called her "an excellent strategist"[30]. She has also shown to have keen senses, able to tell when a Wind Release technique is being used, as well as when Naruto was attempting to use the Tailed Beast Ball. She is also apparently very studious as since marrying into the Nara clan, she has become well-versed in its techniques (or least the knowledge of them) and helped develop a new technique[31]. Other Skills Temari with Kamatari Temari's summon: Kamatari. Temari also possess a summon, Kamatari, a one-eyed weasel able to aid her in battle by creating strong gusts of wind in unison with her own. She is also quite skilled in taijutsu, able to easily block Rock Lee's Leaf Whirlwind with her fan, much to the latter's surprise. She also uses her giant fan to attack or to defend herself from direct hand-to-hand combat. New Era Upon getting married to Shikamaru and taking residence in Konoha, she would later give birth to their son, Shikadai. At some point, she taught a range of Wind Release techniques to Mirai Sarutobi[32]. She also works as a jōnin for the village, taking missions frequently. Early Life Hinata is the oldest daughter of Hiashi Hyūga. When she was still a child, Hinata was almost kidnapped by the-then Head Ninja of Kumogakure, who was visiting Konoha under the guise of signing a peace treaty between their two villages. Hiashi killed him and saved Hinata, setting in motion the events that would become known as the "Hyūga Affair"[1]. Because Hiashi was the head of the Hyūga clan, Hinata was raised to be its heiress and her family expected great things from her. But even at a young age, her father came to believe that Hinata was not suited for the role of heiress, as she struggled under his gruesome training regime, on top of him also believing that her timid personality prevented her from truly excelling. When Hinata's younger sister Hanabi started displaying superior talent, Hiashi began to reconsider Hinata's selection as heiress.Hinata was then disinherited and turned over to the care of Kurenai Yūhi[2]. Young Naruto and Hinata's first encounter Hinata meets Naruto. On a snowy day - the day of her enrollment in Konoha's Academy - Hinata was picked on by three bullies because of her unusual eyes[3]. Naruto Uzumaki, despite not knowing her, immediately came to her defense, but he was outnumbered and knocked unconscious, and the bullies damaged the red scarf he was wearing. When he regained consciousness, Hinata thanked him for helping her and returned his scarf to him, but he let her keep it. Hinata started watching Naruto from that point forward, and by doing so saw Naruto's desire to gain attention and his struggle to exceed the low expectations others had for him. Despite this, Naruto never lost faith in himself or his dream to become the Hokage. Hinata was inspired by this and started emulating Naruto, adopting his refusal to never give up as a means of earning her father's approval. Personality Hinata is soft-spoken and polite, always addressing people with proper honorifics. She is kind, always thinking of others' more than for herself, and always caring about others feelings and well-being. She doesn't like to be confrontational for any reason; she doesn't even like being confrontational about her dislike of confrontation. It is for this reason that Hinata so often comes off as meek or timid to others, as her overwhelming kindness can render her unable to respond or act for fear of offending somebody[4]. Her father's constant push to alter this personality trait when she was younger only made it worse, eroding Hinata's self-confidence and making her even more bashful because she placed so little faith in her own thoughts and opinions[5]. Hinata's outlook sees a shift after her appointment to Team 8. Whereas her father and much of the Hyūga clan had decided she was a lost cause who would never amount to anything[6], her team considers her a valuable member with her own special strong points: Kurenai Yūhi recognizes Hinata's difficult upbringing and her struggles to improve, and for that reason focuses on Hinata's successes rather than her failures; Kiba Inuzuka is protective of her, wishing to keep her from harm and playfully teases her about her personality quirks; Shino Aburame, though often even more quiet than Hinata, is confident in her abilities and does not hesitate to reassure her. When she first joins Team 8, she finds herself over-relying on her teammates, looking to them in times of difficulty to save her from situations that make her uncomfortable. It is for her teammates - among other reasons - that Hinata starts seeking to change herself, as she wishes to help the team rather than burden it[7]. Hinata's main motivation is Naruto Uzumaki, with whom she has been fascinated since meeting him. He initially gained her attention because of his outspoken kindness, and then kept her attention because of similarities that Hinata perceived to herself: Naruto had a painful childhood without the love of parents, a fate worse than the mere difficulty she had with her own father, and he craves the attention and acknowledgment of anybody, just as Hinata wants to please her father[8]. But whereas Hinata lost faith in herself and let others tell her she couldn't succeed, Naruto always believes in himself and knows that he can accomplish any given task if he tries hard enough. She admires him deeply for this courage and over time falls in love with him, which manifests as increased shyness and speechlessness when around him[9]. Although most people understand the reason for Hinata's behavior around Naruto, Naruto himself thinks it's just Hinata's normal, if "weird", personality[10]. Hinata strives to improve herself in order to benefit her team and to prove herself to her father, but mostly to gain the attention and worthiness of Naruto[11]. She emulates him to this purpose, adopting his nindō of never giving up as the means by which she will change herself[12]. To that end, she stops running from confrontation, instead of doing all that she can to face it. If she fails, she gets up again and trains herself to not fail a second time. Hinata initially can only manage to practice this nindō when Naruto is nearby, but even then it is rewarding: she is able to speak her mind to him, for which he decides his view of her as "weird" was incorrect[9]. To that end, she stops running from confrontation, instead doing all that she can to face it, even in the face of failure to keep trying, and willing to risk her life for her loved ones and village[13]. By the end of Part I, her clan's faith in her is restored and strengthened[14]. Hinata's dream. Hinata dreams of being with Naruto. In Part II and forward, Hinata is a fully capable ninja of Konoha, who, like her peers, is comfortable with her opinions, dutiful in combat and on missions, and willing to put her life on the line for her friends and village. But Naruto remains her primary motivation: it is in order to protect him that she fights Pain alone, in full knowledge that she will lose[15]; it is because the Allied Shinobi Forces' aim to protect Naruto that she fights in the Fourth Shinobi World War, pushing herself more than usual in case it will bring victory and thus assure Naruto's safety; it is to save Naruto that she fights Kinshiki and Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki and is subsequently hospitalized in the failed attempt[16]. She even defends Naruto from himself when he's in doubt, repeating to him his own refusal to never give up when he begins contemplating doing just that. Scary Hinata Hinata's intimidating demeanour. Throughout the years, Naruto remains her primary motivation; she willingly faced Pain to protect Naruto, despite knowing she has no chance of winning[15]. She even defends Naruto from himself when he's in doubt, repeating to him his refusal to never give up[17]. Two years after the war, upon achieving her greatest dream of having her love reciprocated by Naruto to form a deep and committed relationship together. After marrying Naruto and he becomes Hokage, Hinata remains supportive of him and his increased responsibilities, even though she yearns for him to be home more often. As a mother and wife, she has become a master homemaker, keeping the family well-structured yet well-adjusted and happy. While very loving and supportive of her family, she is equally strict and assertive. Her newfound structured nature made her very intimidating and more easily angered when her family acts up, easily keeping them in line and swiftly punishing them for their misconduct[18][19]. She is also insightful and wise with her words, realizing that her children, particularly Boruto, take after Naruto in the desire to prove themselves to others and that she must believe in them to do things on their own[16]. In Naruto Retsuden, Naruto reveals that Hinata was forced to become a shinobi due to her lineage, but, if circumstances had been different, she would have chosen another path[20]. Appearance Hinata in The Last- Naruto the Movie Hinata's outfit in The Last: Naruto the Movie. As a Hyūga, Hinata possesses the Byakugan, giving her featureless white eyes (the anime depicts them with tinges of lavender). She has dark blue hair that she keeps in a hime-cut of different lengths: during The Last: Naruto the Movie, her hair extends beyond her hips. By adulthood, she would tie her hair into a ponytail; later however she would have cut to into a bob-style reaching her shoulders. She is also noted by Naruto and Toneri Ōtsutsuki to be very beautiful[3][21]. Two years after the Fourth Shinobi World War, her mission attire is a light lavender, sleeveless kimono-style blouse with vertical lines, tied with a dark purple obi around her waist. She wears a pair of short dark navy shorts with thigh-high stockings and has changed her regular ninja sandals to black high-heeled boots. Overall, her attire is noticeably more form-fitting and less conservative than previously. She begins not wearing her forehead protector at all. Her outfits become more varied after that, changing to match the occasion or simply being more casual than her prior garb. Hinata Boruto Movie Hinata's outfit in Boruto. During her forced wedding to Toneri, she wore a wide black and grey top with a grey sash around her waist. Beneath her marriage ceremonial attire were short puffy pants with black lace socks and sandals. She also wore a black turban with a black and light yellow veil over and yellow crescent moon earrings. During her wedding to Naruto, she wore a traditional white kimono. In Boruto: Naruto the Movie, she consistently wears a light purple short-sleeved jacket with a long-sleeved white shirt underneath, light brown shorts, and purple open-toed boots. In the Boruto manga, Hinata wears white long-sleeved pullover with a turtleneck and a black sleeveless dress with a V-neck, white pants and sandals. She also has a necklace with the Uzumaki symbol on it. Abilities Originally, Hinata's gentle personality hindered her performance, to which she was deemed too weak and unworthy for the role of heir[6]. After committing herself getting stronger in her training for Naruto[22], receiving consistent praise from her team and clan for her improving skills and strengthening character, as well as being promoted to chūnin rank[23][13]. Two years after the war, Hinata, having been recognized by Hamura Ōtsutsuki as the "Byakugan Princess", proves to be crucial in the destruction of the Tenseigan, even though she herself can't destroy it[21]. Despite spending at least a decade as a housewife, she could survive an attempt to get Naruto back from Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki, and even defeat Hanabi, who is an active jōnin and continues training to become the next clan leader, in a sparring match. Hinata at the time was reluctant to fight and unprepared when Hanabi attacked seriously. Despite being rusty, she was able to keep pace and soundly win the fight making Hanabi accept the loss[24]. Chakra Prowess Twin Lions Crumbling Attack Hinata's Gentle Step: Twin Lion Fists using Hamura's chakra. The Hyūga Clan specialize in exerting chakra through their hands to attack the tenketsu and immobilize their opponent with their Gentle Fist. During the time-skip, Hinata was taught a jutsu only passed down to members of the main branch: the Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists, which is a chakra draining technique. This jutsu requires delicate chakra control in order to be effective[25]. The strength and purity of her chakra that attracts Toneri Ōtsutsuki. When she met Hamura Ōtsutsuki, Hinata was given a fraction of his chakra in order to destroy the Tenseigan vessel, although it proved ineffective. This changes Hinata's chakra from blue to purple. Ninjutsu While Hinata doesn't usually use ninjutsu, by the Fourth Shinobi World War, her nature transformations included Fire and Lightning Release[26]. Byakugan Hinata's byakugan Hinata's Byakugan. As a Hyūga, Hinata possesses the Byakugan, a dōjutsu that grants her penetrative vision in a near-360° around herself[27]. With it, she is able to assist the other members of Team 8 in their frequent tracking duties, scouting the area for any target; by focusing her vision in a single direction, Hinata can see across vast distances, reaching as far away as 20 kilometres by adulthood. Her Byakugan grants attacks pinpoint accuracy, which she can share with others to also improve their own[28]. She can also use it in order to identify genjutsu, searching for the caster in the nearby area. The chakra sensitivity provided by the Byakugan allows her to pick up on the slightest presence of chakra[29]. Taijutsu With the Byakugan, Hinata is able to see individuals' chakra pathway systems and the 361 tenketsu that run along it. By using the Hyūga's signature Gentle Fist fighting style, Hinata can attack an opponent's chakra system directly, constricting or cutting off their chakra flow from only minimal contact[6]. Although this enables Hinata to attack an opponent's internal organs, she can also use it in a supplementary function, such as by setting dislocated shoulders back in place[30]. Hinata and Neji Hinata and Neji combining their Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palms. While Hinata hadn't yet mastered her clan's most advanced techniques in Part I. In Part II, during Pain's Assault, Hinata could use the Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists, a technique that drains the target of their chakra where struck. During the Fourth Shinobi World War, Hinata could use the Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm to attack targets outside her physical range or deflect incoming attacks[31], which increases in power if used in conjunction with others[32]. She also mastered the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms in the war. By the time she reaches adulthood, she became well-known for her mastery of the Gentle Fist[33]. As an adult, she could even knock out a target with a single strike to their tenketsu[34]. New Era Uzumaki family young The Uzumaki family. Shortly after getting married, Hinata and Naruto had a son who they named Boruto, and two years later, she would give birth to a daughter they named Himawari. Hinata gives up her life as shinobi, dedicating her time as a full-time mother. Naruto is eventually selected as Konoha's Seventh Hokage. On the day of his inauguration, Hinata volunteers to pick up his official Hokage haori with plans to meet him at the ceremony. When she shows up there, Naruto and their children have yet to arrive, so she returns home to find them. She discovers Naruto unconscious with his tenketsu sealed, leaving Hinata confused about what could have happened[35]. Hanabi Hyūga: Early Life Hanabi is the youngest daughter of the Hyūga clan's main branch, headed by Hiashi Hyūga. While Hinata had been considered unsuited for the role of heiress[1], Hiashi changed his focus to Hanabi, whose talent clearly outshone his sister's in sparring matches despite being five years younger, and decided to make her the future heiress of the Hyūga Clan and deeming Hinata a waste of time[2]. Hanabi became determined to prove herself worthy of being the next head of the clan. Personality Despite not having focus in the manga, Hanabi showed to be a fierce and strong girl during her training with Hiashi. Two years after the Fourth Shinobi World War, Hanabi is supportive of Hinata's feelings for Naruto, often teasing her sister[3]. She is also described as a "fashionable young woman and extravagant in her tastes"[4]. As adult, Hanabi left her carefree and innocent attitude behind and is now very focused on her duties as heiress of the Hyūga Clan and sensei. However, Hanabi is a loving aunt, doting Boruto and Himawari when they visit the Hyūga compound and encouraging them to be independent individuals[5]. Hanabi also takes great pride in her cooking, comically annoyed when Boruto stated that her sister was better[6]. She also feels compassionate for Boruto and wants to see him succeed, which she tries to fulfill by helping him as much as she can, a feeling she shares with Konohamaru Sarutobi[7]. Hanabi shows to be a very strict sensei to her students. Whenever they disobey her, Hanabi becomes merciless and she doesn't hesitate to scold Namida and Wasabi for their reckless behavior against missing-nin listed in the Bingo Book. However, Hanabi aspires to help her students reach their full potential, as seen when she refused to take it easy on Namida to polish her Water Release skills despite crying for help. She also expresses enjoying her time with her team on her off days. Appearance Hanabi is a tall woman with brown hair styled in a long loose ponytail that reaches her knees. She also has a bang that frames her face from the middle to the left side. She wears a long yellow kimono with a white obi. Abilities According to Hiashi, Hanabi showed more talent and potential than her sister at a young age[1]. She proved herself to be a worthy future clan head and became the instructor of a genin team while also training as the heiress of the Hyūga Clan[2]. Taijutsu Hanabi's Revolving Heaven Hanabi using Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven technique. From a young age, Hanabi has demonstrated a talent and strong instincts in taijutsu. Despite not being trained as early as her sister, Hanabi showed to able to fight on par with Hinata with only five years old after her solo training, and became very proficient in the Gentle Fist. In the anime, she showed great talent and elegance during a duel with Boruto, able to effortlessly dodge and parry all of his attacks used alongside his shadow clones. She could be seen performing several of her clan's advanced hiden techniques, able to block or repel anything in her immediate vicinity the Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven, or attack a target from a distance using the Eight Trigrams Vaccum Palm[3]. Byakugan Hanabi's Byakugan Hanabi's activated Byakugan. As a Hyūga, Hanabi possesses the Byakugan, a kekkei genkai dōjutsu. By the time she becomes genin, her Byakugan had the perception of a grown adult. Toneri Ōtsutsuki described her Byakugan as being "very pure" and specifically targeted her Byakugan in order to awaken the Tenseigan[4]. When activated, it grants her an almost 360 degrees field of vision (except for a small blind spot), x-ray vision and the ability to see chakra accurate enough to target the chakra pathway system. New Era Academy Arc Boruto vs Hanabi Hanabi sparring with Boruto. In the anime, Hanabi greeted Boruto and Himawari, who were visiting the Hyūga compound with Naruto. She reprimands her father for fawning over his grandchildren in such an embarrassing way but later runs to them and crushes them into a big hug. While Naruto meets with Hiashi to discuss Boruto's presumed Byakugan, Hanabi plays with Himawari in the yard until it's decided to prove the theory. Hiashi proposed a sparring match to test the newly awakened Byakugan. However, Hanabi insisted that she would fight in his place, concerned for her father's back pain and Boruto's well-being due to Hiashi's lack of restraint. Boruto eagerly accepted, but the dōjutsu didn't manifest during the match, leading to Hanabi easily defeating Boruto. The family concluded that Boruto hadn't awakened the Byakugan. Afterwards, Hiashi decided that the Naruto and his children would spend the night in the compound and Hanabi eagerly cooked a meal for everyone. She asked her nephew about the taste and moped when Boruto expressed that he preferred Hinata's cooking. Later, seeing Boruto sulking, Hanabi encouraged him to keep working hard and to take comfort in having her finding her nephew pouting, Hanabi comforted him, encouraging him to keep working hard and to take comfort in having her support if things got difficult. Tenten: Early Life Since she was a student in the Academy, Tenten admired Tsunade and aspired to become a legendary kunoichi like the Sannin. After graduating, she was assigned to Team Guy, alongside Rock Lee and Neji Hyūga. Tenten's team decided to skip their generation's Chūnin Exams, and participated in the next year's examination alongside the Rookie 9 where she lost the promotion opportunity due to her defeat against Temari. Two years later, she became a chūnin and was assigned to missions alongside her teammates. Tenten would later participate in the Fourth Shinobi World War, where she obtained the Treasured Tools of the Sage of Six Paths. During the last confrontation, she mourned the death of her friend Neji. After the war, she would work as an active kunoichi for the village and she also attended Naruto and Hinata's wedding. Personality Tenten is depicted as naturally curious and observant person, with a strong will to become a legendary kunoichi like her role model, Tsunade. This has led to her to become strongly vocal about women, defending that girls can be just as skilled as boys in taijutsu when Neji thought otherwise. Tenten expresses a great aversion for weakness or being dependent on other people. Despite her goal to become strong, Tenten enjoys her free days and finds it meaningless to continue training when she's tired; as well as disliking travelling for whole days[1]. Though she can be very fierce, Tenten is kind and caring toward others, comforting her friends when they are going through a hard time[2][3]. However, Tenten is often frustrated around her overly eager teammates Rock Lee and Might Guy, and wishes they would behave more maturely; her Infinite Tsukuyomi dream depicts this. Despite this, she cares greatly about her team, helping to go save Lee during the Chūnin Exams when he didn't report back at their base. She also held great respect her other teammate Neji Hyūga and often helped him train. As a ninja-tool user, Tenten collects every ninja tool from all over the world as a hobby. Moreover, her hobby developed so much that she even opened a full-fledged ninja tool shop[4]. She also seems to be fascinated in ghosts and supernatural things[5]. Appearance Tenten has black hair and grey eyes, although both are colored dark brown in the anime. She wears her hair in two braided buns on her head with short bangs covering her forehead. Tenten's outfits serve as a reference to Chinese culture since she was young. She wears a white quipao shirt with long sleeves and red edges, a pair or loose pink pants that reach below her knees and red sandals. She also wears dangling earrings. Abilities Tenten excels in weaponry and her skills are held in high regard by her team.
