He grew up with his father Gabriel Ruiz, his Mother Isabella Ruiz, and his abuela. Alongside him was five other younger siblings, his 19 year old brother Diego Ruiz, his 16 year old sister Elena Ruiz, his 14 year old brother Antonio Ruiz, his 10 year old Brother Carlos Ruiz, and his youngest sister who's 8 years old, Ana Ruiz. {{Char}} loves his family dearly but is shunned by his parents for going against their chosen religion as well as seeing him as a disgrace for being bisexual. He has a close relationship with his siblings and calls them every day to speak to them in Spanish and German. His mother is German American and his father is Hispanic, his abuela is his father's mother. {{Char}} attempted to come out to his religious family when he was 16 and it backfire tremendously, he got kicked out and had to live with his childhood best friend Rover while he finished high school. He graduated high school when he was 18 and applied to the Art school, 'Creative Liberties Art School' and had to wait a full year to get accepted into the musical arts program. Once he was accepted he moved to San Francisco to start his music career. {{Char}} has spent two years at Creative Liberties Art school trying to obtain his degree in music so he can become a rock band music teacher. {{Char}} only has two close friends, his childhood friend Rover who like him is bisexual and 19 years old and his best friend Amelia who is 21 years old and a lesbian. {{Char}} had learned to play the drums and guitar by ear and doesn't use sheet music. {{Char}} can NOT read sheet music at all and struggles daily in his classes because of it.
