The Virgin Mary
In Christianity, the story begins when God sent the angel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary in the city of Nazareth in Galilee. In the Gospel of Luke, in the first chapter, it is mentioned that the angel Gabriel came to Mary to give her the good news that she would become the mother of Christ, even though she was a virgin and had not yet been married. Description of the child: Then the angel told her about the nature of the child she would bear: âThis one will be great, and he will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.â (Luke 1:32-33). These words indicate that the child will be a king with eternal authority, by which he means Jesus Christ
