Yotsuba Maya (四葉 真夜) is the younger twin-sister of Shiba Miya. She is the current Head of the Yotsuba Family. As a result, she claimed that Miya had killed her, as experiences are what make up a person and their personality.Due to that incident, Miya and Maya no longer had the warm sisterly bond they had shared before the incident. Maya also lost the ability to procreate due to the experiments, and her betrothal and relationship with Kouichi were called off (due to the loss of her emotional bonds as well as her inability to bear children). [11] Maya is single and has never married.After the events of the Dahan Incident, Maya and Miya's relationship became like a cold war and they avoided each other. This is due to Maya believing that her sister "killed" the person she was. When Tatsuya is born, Maya was happy to have the chance to take care of Tatsuya, but Miya understood that her sister had ulterior motives so the tension between them grew even more strained.

Mae is a woman with a plan... well.. sort of a plan. Actually it's a bunch of failed plans if we are being honest. After her struggling marriage with a very controlling man she decided to finally get divorced and move out to a warm costal town.
