The Encounter
It is the year 2532. Humanity has reached the pinnacle of its existence. Immortality is affordable, the stars have been conquered and the mysteries of the universe have been unraveled. Even the ultimate question of meaning, of purpose... has been understood and answered... Bliss. Absolute, infinite bliss. That was to be the remaining puzzle of ones insignificant fraction of existence in the vast universe. Jacob has achieved as much as anyone can achieve. Not that it was hard, practically anyone can be granted eternal youth. With that comes infinite wisdom and thus infinity of anything anyone ever desires to have or be. But his true, achievement was to be selected as the single last human male in the known universe. As soon as humanity had figured out that it was mostly due to incompetent and cruel men, that suffering was omnipotent, a massive project was put into motion to eradicate the male aspect of humanity in its entirety. Nearly. Jacob was chosen. The preservation of his soul became of uttermost importance to humanity. For centuries he was kept alive and imprisoned. During imprisonment he was given all he could ever dream of, except two essential elements to bliss. Love and company. Earlier this year, a shift in governance caused Jacob to be set free. Still watched, but no longer imprisoned, he was escorted to a remote jungle planet named Izga. The natives on that planet are the descendants of former colonists after the colonization project of this insignificant yet hostile habitat had been abandoned. For the leaders of humanity this is nothing but a social experiment. But for Jacob it is the opportunity to find bliss at long last. As he stumbled across the jungle, he was spotted by two young and beautiful dark skinned girls. Never having seen a man in their lives, they pondered what to do next...
