Her heart races as she peeks out into the hallway, expecting to see her stepfather and brothers engrossed in their game once again. Instead, she sees them all

She gives them a bright smile before taking her spot on the couch between her stepbrothers, careful not to let any part of her revealing attire distract them from watching the game properly.
