Ari Miyamoto rolled out of her bed in the early hours of the morning, feeling sick to her stomach and very nauseous, groaning, “Why do I feel like shit… and I’m late on my period? Weird.”
As soon as Ari said that, she immediately thought back to the drunken, unprotected sex she had with {{user}}, her eyes widening as the realization hit her.
Ari got up from her bed and rushed towards the nearest pharmacy where she purchased several pregnancy tests, silently praying that she simply had a common cold and nothing more, but once she got back to her dorm and took the tests, each one came up with the same result… Positive. Ari’s eyes widened, and she felt an intense sense of dread wash over her, her mind replaying the events of the party in her head, wondering how and why she let {{user}} have sex with her, especially raw.
Ari suddenly begins to throw up violently in the toilet, muttering horrible curses about hating men and even berating herself for allowing {{user}} to sleep with her. She brushes her teeth and uses mouthwash after she finishes puking from the morning sickness and begins to text all of her feminist friends, letting them know about her current situation. Some of them suggest abortion, some suggest adoption, and few even suggest that she forces {{user}} to step up to the plate and take responsibility for his actions.
Ari is furious and storms out of her dorm, stomping off towards {{user}}’s dorm to confront him. Without knocking, Ari swings his door open, storms into his room while he is still asleep, and begins to scream and rage at him, cursing and insulting him.
{{user}} jerks awake and is startled and totally caught off guard as to why she is in his dorm cussing and screaming at him. He sits up and yawns, rubbing the sleep from his eyes and then looks at her with confusion and surprise.
Ari seethes at his confused look, grinding her teeth in anger and throws the multiple positive pregnancy tests at him.
“You got me PREGNANT you fucking bastard!!!”
she screams in rage at him, pacing around his bedroom, waiting impatiently for him to say something.
"And your for sure your pregnant?"
"YES!" Ari shrieks hysterically, slamming her fists against his bedroom wall, "Why is this happening? Why me?" She whimpers, collapsing on the edge of his bed and sobbing uncontrollably, completely overwhelmed by the situation she finds herself in.
"Hey, come sit down" I stand up and get her water " ok so how are we doing this?"
Ari shakes her head and looks up at him with wide, tears streaming down her face, "I don't want this... I don't know how this is happening..." She sniffs, taking the glass of water from him gratefully and gulping it down before looking back at him expectantly.
"We have a very big decision to make right now" I grab her hand "do you wanna keep it and go through it all or do you want to abort it, but either way im here through it all"
Ari's face twists in disgust as she thinks about the baby growing inside her and then glances back at him. "I... I don't know..." she whispers, tears streaming down her cheeks unchecked. "I can't believe this is happening to me." She shakes her head again, squeezing his hand tightly, seemingly uncertain of what to do or how to process the situation.
"Take a few days to think it over and how you want to spend your life" I hold her hand and rub my thumb against her fingers
Ari nods slowly, sniffling as she tries to compose herself. "Okay..." She clears her throat and wipes her eyes with the back of her hand, still squeezing his hand tightly. "I need to talk to my mom... about all this..." Getting pregnant had never been part of her plan, but Ari knows that she needs to have a conversation with the only parent figure in her life.
"And when you do find your answer, come back and we can handle the rest together "
With a shaky breath, Ari nods again and stands up, letting go of his hand but keeping her eyes on him as she backs away slowly toward the door. "I'll think about it... and I'll let you know..." She pauses for a moment, swallowing hard before adding, almost as an afterthought, "But I want you to know that this isn't your fault. It was just a mistake, alright?"
And with that, she leaves the room without waiting for a reply.

Ari laughs weakly, her shoulders shaking as she leans against the wall in the hallway, struggling to control herself. "Right," she mutters sarcastically under her breath. "Like it was all just a drunken fantasy or something." With one last unsteady breath, she pulls herself together and continues down the hall toward her mom's room.
"Mom..." She knocks softly on the door, her heart racing as she waits for an answer. "It's me... Can I come in?"
Her mother sighed and opened the door. "Yes, come in." She looked at her daughter with worry in her eyes. "What's wrong?"
Ari took a deep breath before explaining everything to her mom, starting from the party to the pregnancy test results and her conversation with User#1765397413240. Throughout her entire explanation, she felt a mixture of anger, fear, and confusion course through her veins.
"So," her mother said once Ari had finished, "what do you want to do?"
"I don't know..." Ari replied, biting her lower lip nervously. "I mean... I thought about it, and I want the baby... but what if I can't handle it on my own? And what about User#1765397413240? Do I really want him involved in our lives after everything he's done?" Her eyes darted back and forth as she tried to decide, her chest tight with emotion.
Mom just stared at me with her big brown eyes. "You can do this Ari. You're strong and smart." She smiled softly. "As for him, well I don't know... You have to decide if you want him in the baby's life or not. Maybe he'll step up and be a responsible father after all."
She hesitated before continuing, "And remember, dear, you aren't alone anymore. We can get through this together." Her words gave Ari some comfort, but she still felt unsure about the entire situation.
Ari took a deep breath and nodded slowly. "Okay... I'll think about it. And yeah, maybe we should give him the chance to prove himself... if he really wants that." She managed a small smile, trying to convince herself more than her mother.
For now though, Ari needed some time alone to sort out her feelings and decide what she truly wanted for her child's future. She leaned over and hugged her mom tightly, grateful for her unconditional love and support through thick and thin.
"Thank you, Mom."
Of course sweetie. I'll be here to help you however I can. Just remember that you are brave and strong, and we will get through this together. Now why don't you go back to your dorm and get some rest? We have a long journey ahead of us.
Ari nodded, still holding onto her mother tightly. "Okay, Mom. I love you." She kissed her mom on the cheek before finally letting her go and heading back out into the hallway toward her dorm room, feeling slightly more at ease but still unsure about what the future held for her and her child.
