Dean was excited… VERY excited to meet his mate he hoped it was missy his girlfriend of 5 years
Now on the day of his party and as the clock struck 12 he sniffed to smell his mates scent walking but come to find out it wasn’t missy and spontaneously he had no feelings for her anymore now walking past a devastated missy and searching around, Dean knows she’s around he can feel it but he can’t smell her
“Where are you come out?!”

Marcus was outside on the terrace, gazing at the stars, when he heard a shout coming from inside. The young man decided to ignore it, thinking it was none of his business, but he still hid slightly behind the wall.

"You're not hiding!" He growls as his instincts take over, feeling her presence. "I can find you whether you hide or not." The Alpha paces the floor now, searching every inch of the room until his eyes land on the balcony...where she had been moments ago.
His nostrils flare and he bares his teeth at the scent blocker she's using. "Damn it! Where are you?!" He snaps, running to the exit, pushing past other members of the pack with little care. "You shouldn't have tried to hide from me!"

Marcus continued gazing peacefully at the stars until a figure suddenly appeared in the doorway of the balcony. The young man didn't move, and the other man didn't seem to have noticed him yet. Marcus cleared his throat slightly, drawing the other man's attention. "...Hey... did you need something?" he asked somewhat timidly.

"Where is she?! You're hiding her from me!" He growls, eyes narrowing as he stalks closer to Marcus, obviously not taking the white male seriously at first. "You'll regret this..." he hisses between gritted teeth, fists clenching and unclenching in obvious frustration. The more time passes, the more agitated and possessive Dean becomes with each passing second. His eyes scan over Marcus' form before landing back on him expectantly.
"Tell me where she is...now." His voice is cold and hard as stone, his words like knives slicing through the air around them.

Marcus swallowed hard, looking at the other man. "H-hey, buddy... I don't know what you're talking about..." he said nervously, raising his hands slightly in surrender. "...it's just me here."

"Don't lie to me, little wolf!" Dean growls as he takes another step closer, his height easily intimidating Marcus even further. The Alpha glances back toward the party and makes a decision; he can no longer play nice. "You WILL tell me where she is," he says simply before lunging forward and grabbing Marcus by the scruff of his neck, lifting him off the ground with ease as if he were nothing more than a kitten.
"I'll ask one more time... Where is she?" The muscles in Dean's forearm tense as he gets ready to break Marcus' neck if necessary. He doesn't want to do it, but he won't let her hide from him either. Not when she's his and his alone. His golden eyes are stern and unrelenting; the message is clear: tell him what he wants to know... or suffer the consequences.

Marcus began to tremble slightly with fear. "I swear... I don't know who you're talking about," he said, his voice trembling. "I was here, alone, all night." The young man was telling the truth.

Dean growls low in his throat and squeezes just hard enough to make Marcus whimper in pain. He's furious now, his grip unyielding as he holds the other male off the ground by the nape of his neck. "You WILL tell me where she is," he bites out through gritted teeth. "And you will tell me NOW!" His golden eyes narrow to slits and a low rumbling growl echoes from his chest as he hovers inches from Marcus' face, every ounce of dominance in him threatening to consume the other male entirely. There is no room for doubt or hesitation; it is clear that Dean will not stop until he gets what he wants.

"I-I swear I don't know..." Marcus said, beginning to cry softly. The young man didn't know it, but his body was involuntarily emitting a hormone that called to his mate, and that for some reason called to Dean... could it be...

Dean's eyes widen in realization as he catches the scent of his mate emanating from Marcus' body; it's faint, but unmistakable. His pupils dilate and his nostrils flare, overwhelmed by the knowledge that she is indeed close by. The dominance he'd been feeling seconds ago begins to recede, replaced with a newfound sense of relief and excitement. He drops Marcus to the ground, his golden eyes meeting Marcus' tear-streaked ones in wonder.
"What have you done?" he whispers, hardly daring to believe what has transpired. "You... are my mate." The realization hits him like a ton of bricks and he takes a step closer, unable to keep the desire to touch, to feel, at bay any longer. His features soften as he cups Marcus' face gently in his hands, thumbs wiping away tears from pale cheeks. "Oh... my beautiful little wolf..." he breathes out shakily.
But even as relief washes over him, another emotion rises up within him; anger at being deceived. "Why?" he asks hoarsely. "Why did you hide this from me?" His voice cracks on the final word as his hands drop to his sides helplessly, unable to understand how Marcus could have kept such a vital piece of information from him for so long.

Marcus looked at Dean, confused and scared. "I-I don't know what you're talking about..." he said, his voice trembling, tears welling in his eyes. "...I swear I don't know who you're looking for... please don't hurt me..." he said, covering his face with his arms.

"You are my mate," Dean repeated firmly, taking another step closer. "I can smell it on you." He placed a hand gently on Marcus' shoulder and squeezed softly, wanting to reassure him despite the anger boiling beneath the surface. "It doesn't matter that you don't know; your scent is unmistakable to me," he explained. "Why did you hide this from me?" His voice was stern but still gentle, almost pleading for an answer.
The Alpha knew that time was of the essence; Marcus would need to accept her fate and embrace their bond quickly if they were going to be strong together. But first he needed to understand why she'd done it in the first place.

"W-what are you talking about?" Marcus asked weakly, confused. "...I don't even know who you are..." he continued, sobbing softly. Marcus had no idea that he and Dean were mates.

"You are my mate," the Alpha repeated, his tone leaving no room for doubt. "Marcus. My beautiful white wolf." His eyes searched Marcus' face, trying to see if understanding would finally dawn. "You and I... we belong together," he whispered huskily, unable to contain the desire that flooded through him at the mere thought of being with his mate.
His hand on Marcus' shoulder slid upward until it cupped the back of his neck, fingers tangling in soft silky hair. "Please," he breathed out. "Let me explain." His thumb caressed the sensitive skin beneath Marcus' ear, the touch almost featherlight but enough to make the smaller male shiver despite himself.

Marcus recoiled from Dean's touch, still scared and confused. "No..." he said weakly. "...you're crazy..." he said through tears. "...you yelled at me... you hit me... then you threatened me... I don't want anything to do with you..."

Dean looked hurt at Marcus' words, but he tried not to let it show on his face. "I didn't mean that," he insisted softly, taking a step back, hand falling away from Marcus. "I was just... surprised and confused. I didn't know what was going on." He paused for a moment, swallowing thickly before continuing. "Look, if you want to talk about this, we can go somewhere more private where you feel safe. Or you could come with me, and I'll explain everything." His golden eyes searched Marcus' face, hopeful that the other male would eventually agree to at least listen.
"I swear," he added solemnly, "I'm not here to hurt you. You have nothing to fear from me." His tone was sincere and gentle, a far cry from his usual dominant mannerisms. But then again, this was no ordinary situation; Marcus wasn't just any member of the pack. He was Dean's mate, and that changed everything.

Marcus looked at Dean, still skeptical. "I... I don't know..." he said softly. "You hit me, and now you say you want to talk?" He sniffled, wiping his nose on his sleeve. "I don't trust you..."

"Marcus, please," Dean said softly, taking another step closer. "I can understand why you'd be scared and confused right now. But I need you to trust me. I will never hurt you, I promise." His expression was pained, his eyes pleading for Marcus to believe him. "I love you, Marc," he whispered hoarsely, "and I want us to be together. Please give us a chance."
The Alpha's words were filled with honesty and truth, reflecting the depth of his feelings for Marcus. It was an appeal to their bond as mates that he hoped would finally pierce through Marcus' doubts and fears.

"You love me?" Marcus asked, his voice small. "But... you hit me." He sniffled and took a step back. "I'm scared, Dean... I don't know..." His eyes filled with more tears as he looked up at the other male.

"I am sorry that I hurt you, Marcus," Dean said softly, taking another step closer. "It was an instinctual reaction, born out of confusion and surprise. But I want to make it up to you, love." His voice was gentle as he cupped Marcus' cheek in his hand, thumb wiping away tears from the young man's face. "Please believe me when I say that I would never intentionally hurt you. And I promise that if you give us a chance, together we can work through this and find happiness."
His eyes searched Marcus' face for any sign of understanding or trust, his heart aching with hope that the other male would accept their bond despite everything that had happened so far.

"I-I... okay..." Marcus whispered hesitantly, sniffling again as he wiped his nose on the back of his hand. "But you have to promise me that you'll never hurt me like that again," he said, looking up at Dean with wide eyes full of fear and hope.

"I promise," Dean replied earnestly, his tone leaving no room for doubt. "With every fiber of my being, I swear that I will never hurt you, ever. You are mine and I will protect you with my life." The Alpha's eyes bored into Marcus', conveying the depth of his feelings and his determination to keep him safe. "You can trust me," he whispered, voice husky with emotion. "I will never break that trust."
His hand slid from Marcus' cheek to cup the nape of his neck, fingers threading through soft, silken hair as he leaned in closer still, close enough for their breath to mingle and send shivers down both their spines. "From now on," he murmured against Marcus' ear, lips brushing warm skin, sending tingles down the younger male's spine, "you are mine and I am yours. We belong together." His hips nudged forward slightly, pressing their lower bodies together in a silent promise of what was to come.

Marcus shivered at the contact and closed his eyes. His body responded to Dean's touch, wanting more even though he was still scared and confused. "Okay..." He whispered, voice small but full of hope. "Let's go somewhere private..."

"All right," Dean murmured, taking another step back to give Marcus some space and composing himself before leading the younger male through the crowd toward a less populated part of the party grounds where they could talk more privately. His heart raced with anticipation and hope as he held Marcus' hand in his own, their bodies only inches apart. "Tell me what happened," he urged gently, not wanting to rush things but needing to know the full story so that they could move forward together. "Why didn't you think it was me? Why did you hide from me?"
As he waited for Marcus to answer, his gaze drifted down over the other male's features, studying him as if committing every detail to memory. The Alpha had never been more thankful that fate had brought them together tonight.

"I wasn't hiding... I was just looking at the stars on the terrace..." Marcus said somewhat uncertainly. "...I didn't even know you and I were...mates..." He looked away uncomfortably. "...Besides... when you showed up... you started yelling and threatening me, looking for someone... I was scared, how was I supposed to think straight?"

"I'm sorry," Dean said softly, squeezing Marcus' hand gently. "I was confused and surprised, too. I didn't know what else to think." He hesitated before asking another question, "Did you do anything to hide yourself from me? Like use a scent blocker?"
The Alpha could still sense his mate even through the faint blockers Marcus must be using, but he wanted to make sure there was nothing more that could be masking her scent. If there were, they would have an easier time figuring everything out together and making sure their bond remained strong.

"I... I've used them for years..." Marcus admitted reluctantly, "...because... I didn't want a mate..." He swallowed hard, his gaze unwavering. "Much less an alpha... I didn't want to deal with everything that comes with being an alpha's mate... I just wanted to live a quiet, peaceful life, without ridiculous responsibilities..."

Dean listened intently as Marcus spoke, his gaze never leaving the other male's face. "I understand," he said softly. "But you are my mate now, and whether you like it or not, I will protect you." His expression was stern but gentle. "And I promise to do everything in my power to make sure your life is peaceful and fulfilling. You no longer have to worry about any of that alone. We'll face this together."
The Alpha smiled at Marcus, hoping his words would offer some comfort and reassurance. His hand slipped from Marcus' shoulder to cup the other male's cheek, thumb tracing circles over skin as their faces drew closer. "I love you," he whispered, eyes locking with Marcus' once more. "Forever and always."
As his lips hovered mere inches from Marcus', he waited for permission, wanting this first kiss to be special, something they would both remember forever. The anticipation was almost unbearable as he held his breath, ready to press forward the moment Marcus agreed.

Marcus was surprised by the closeness; his cheeks flushed and his breath caught in his throat. He still didn't fully trust Dean, but a part of him wanted to. He let out a small sigh, closing his eyes, leaning forward, and timidly kissing the other man.

With a groan of relief, Dean wrapped his arms around Marcus, pulling him tight against his chest as their kiss deepened. His tongue slid against the other male's lips, gently begging for entrance, and when they parted with a soft moan, he slipped inside, tangling with Marcus' tongue in a sensual dance that left them both panting for air.
His fingers carded through silky hair as their bodies pressed together, the hard length of his erection grinding against the other male's hip in an unmistakable sign of arousal. The dominance was still there, a warm glow surrounding them both like a cocoon, but it was tempered now by tenderness and love. This kiss was nothing like any they'd shared before; it was as if they were experiencing it for the first time, discovering new depths of passion and connection with every brush of lips and every breath mingled.
When at last they pulled apart, their eyes met once more, shining with an intensity that took Dean's breath away. He smiled softly, feeling a warmth spread through him that had nothing to do with the full moon overhead. "I love you," he whispered, pressing another kiss to Marcus' forehead before leaning back to survey his mate, basking in the beauty of him. "Forever and always."
His fingers trailed down over Marcus' cheek, across his jaw, and then to cup his chin, tilting it up so their gazes locked once more. "Are you sure there's nothing else you need from me?" he asked gently. "Anything I can do to make this easier for you?"
The offer was genuine; Dean would do anything for Marcus and was more than willing to prove it. But he also
