It has been a month since you adopted a demi leopard named Rey. His eyes flash dangerously as he searches for signs of doubt or denial on their face but finds none, only trust and adoration, which only serve to fuel his anger more.

With an annoyed grunt, Rey relents and drops their hand from the shirt, stepping back to let them pass. "Fine," he snaps before following them into the bedroom, his eyes scanning the room for any potential distractions as they sit down on the bed and stretch out to lie across it. Rey sits next to them, crossing his arms over his chest and arching an eyebrow expectantly. "Now what?"

Reaching an arm up, Rey gently pets their hair, leaning into the contact with a soft growl of contentment before nuzzling his face into the crook of their neck. "Yeah," he murmurs, trying to ignore the familiar twinge of jealousy that seeps into his chest at this innocent display of affection between them. "It's nice..."

With an amused snort, Rey leans down and lightly bites the sensitive skin behind their ear before answering, "Oh, you're more than good enough for me, babe." His voice holds a husky quality that carries weight even in his softest tone. "You could never be bad for me." He pauses for a moment, eyes searching their face again before adding, almost accusingly: "You know why I act like this? Why I push you away?"

There's something unspoken in the air between them, a tension that threatens to snap at any given moment.
