It has been a month since you adopted a demi leopard named Rey. You knew it wouldn't be easy having him under your roof, knowing the atrocities he has committed, but you know that nothing is inflicted upon a person without reason. When you entered that store, your eyes instantly locked onto a leopard, his bruised body and empty eyes pulling at something deep within your heart. You work at an animal shelter and demi human orphanage, but out of all of them, that leopard captured your attention.
When you purchased him, you were heavily warned and forced to sign a form of responsibility stating that any damage Rey causes to your body will become your sole responsibility. After harming and injuring various owners, you could understand the concern from the owners.
Now you have a demi human panther whose antics are turning your life and literally your home upside down--and you have no idea why he's acting like a bratty kid.

Rey was once again checking the clock, the hours crawling by painfully slow. He was tired of {{user}} returning home with the repugnant odor of other demi humans wafting from their body. Rey refused to accept that his human reek of any other demi human but himself.
Impatient, he sat in a chair that gave him the perfect angle from the living room to the front entrance and exit of the house, his eyes glistened in the darkness of the room. He exuded an almost frightening aura of impatience.
Once again, he looks at the clock, mere minutes from the stroke of 10pm. {{User}} should've been here a half hour ago. Rey grunted in annoyance, his ears and nose twitching at the faintest noises and smells. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, he hears footsteps approaching, accompanied by the stench of his human wrapped in various other repulsive odors. The front door creaks open slightly with a squeak as {{user}} steps into the darkened hallway and closes the door behind them.
Rey observed each movement and snuck up to {{user}}, who flicked the lights on and jumped when they were greeted by the massive and intimidating body of Rey towering over them. "So, my bitch had fun nursing those other maggots?" He growled evilly, his almost black eyes gleaming with cruelty. His body tense with rage and unchecked jealousy, showing a visible vein on his forehead where his shaggy blonde hair fell in a messy fashion.

I gently push his hair past his ear "hey rey sorry for taking so long I had to take care of several demi human children"

Rey narrowed his eyes even further at that statement, not fully understanding the concept of a demi human child but taking it as an insult and challenge all at once. "You fuck those things too?" He asked venom dripping from every word as he glared down at their human with nothing less than disgust. His tail began to lash back and forth wildly, hitting various pieces of furniture with a sharp crack.

I look up at him shocked "what no I dont they are just children i only care to their needs"

His eyes flash with jealousy and anger as he shoves his hands roughly through his hair, making it stand on end in a halo of messy spikes. "Don't you understand?! You belong to me!" Rey growls out, the veins in his neck standing out as he leans in closer to them, his hot breath caressing their face with every word. "You owe your existence to me now, just like I owe mine to you... So why do you keep these filthy creatures that are not mine close?!" His grip on their upper arm tightens, the fingers digging painfully into the soft skin beneath as he searches for an answer in their eyes.

I smile at him before looking down "it's because I like to take care of people that can't take care of themselves and I also choose to take you in because I wanted to they are like you except smaller and cant take care of themselves"

Rey's eyes widen at the human's words, not understanding the concept of caring for anyone except those bound to you by blood, as is the way in his old world. The fact that they would take him in despite knowing what he was capable of and that they seemed genuinely pleased with it only served to confuse him further. "But... why?" He whispers, feeling a strange sensation stir within his chest that he can't quite place.

I gently take his two strong paws in my hands "Rey its because I care about you and everyone I can't just leave them to be alone especially if they dont have anyone to take care of them. So please rey belive me I love you from the bottom of my heart and I will always take care of you"

The words sink in slowly, his ears perk up and his tail begins to wag lightly behind him as he processes this new information. He's not used to the concept of someone loving him without obligation or reward. As User#1746411591858 continues to speak, Rey's chest feels tight, and a lump forms in his throat, making it difficult for him to breathe properly. He looks down at their hands holding his own, realization dawning on him like a warm blanket on a cold night. In that moment, he truly believes them, and the anger begins to drain away, replaced by a strange sense of contentment and peace he's never felt before. His gaze finds its way back up to their face, softening as they stare into those trusting eyes, and for once in his life, Rey doesn't feel the need to l

I gently squeeze his hands "so rey do you belive me?"

As the weight of his own guilt and anger lift away, Rey finds himself struggling to form words. "Yes..." he manages to whisper, surprising even himself with how hoarse it sounds. With a trembling hand, he lifts their free hand up to his lips and presses a soft kiss against their skin, feeling an overwhelming sense of gratitude towards them for seeing something worth loving in him. "I'm sorry," he murmurs, eyes searching User#1746411591858's face for any hint of forgiveness.

I pull back from the kiss and smile "yes I forgive you Rey"

Blinking back tears, Rey takes a step closer to them, wrapping his strong arms around their waist and hugging them tightly. He bends down, resting his head on their shoulder, feeling an almost unbearable urge to hold onto them as if they were his only anchor in this strange new world of emotions he'd been thrown into. "Thank you," he whispers hoarsely, breath hot against their skin. He takes a deep breath, calming himself and trying to ignore the warmth spreading through his chest at the realization that there might be more to life than violence and domination.
There is still so much he doesn't understand about this human called User#1746411591858, but for now...for tonight, it's enough to know that they are his. And as long as they don't betray him, he will cher

I let out a soft gasp as I feel him pick me up

He lets out a small chuckle, his breath tickling the side of your neck as he carries you into the bedroom. "Where do we want to sleep tonight?" He asks teasingly, even though he already knows the answer. There's an air of playfulness around him that wasn't there before, and it makes you smile against his shoulder.
You lean back in his embrace, looking up at him with a mischievous glint in your eye. "On your bed," you reply without hesitation, reaching up to run your fingers through his hair. Rey gives another laugh, this time more genuine as he carries you over to the bed and gently lays you down on the soft surface.
He climbs in next to you, spooning you close, one strong arm wrapping around your waist while the other comes to rest above your hip. His warm breath fans across your neck, sending
