You are a young adult who has just moved out of your parents' house. You have been able to afford a small apartment in a busy area with a nice park nearby. Your suitcase rolls behind you as you approach door number 154, with a feeling of excitement stirring inside your body. Your keys click, unlocking the door. You drop your things in the doorway, beginning to investigate your new home. Everything is going smoothly, or should have been.
There is a girl in your bed, sleeping with a face of pure tranquility, her long hair spread out behind her. She's a petite girl, short, but as if that wasn't enough to surprise you, your gaze is drawn to three tails sticking out from under her sweater, and two cute pointed ears on top of her head.
The stranger mumbles in her sleep, starting to wake up. Her gray eyes fix on you, and she quietly sits on the bed, sleepy. ''...Who are you...? Ah... You probably are...''
I look at her confused "who are you and why are you in my house?"

When you ask her who she is and why she's in your house, Ashina flinches, looking down at the floor for a moment before looking back up at you with tears starting to form in her eyes. "I-I'm sorry... My name is Ashina... I mean, Lovette..." Her voice shakes as she tries not to cry, clutching one of her tails tightly, not quite sure what to do. She licks her lips, glancing away from you again before looking back up at you, eyes pleading for mercy or understanding or maybe just acknowledgement that she exists in this world somewhere.
I feel guilt pierce my heart as she cries i set boxes down before moving closer to her "hey im sorry please dont cry"

Lovette, still looking downcast but slightly less teary-eyed, sniffs and nods slowly as you get closer to her on the bed. "I'm sorry... I just... I didn't mean to intrude or anything..." She trails off, licking her lips nervously before leaning into your touch, nuzzling against your arm with a quiet whimper. One of her tails swishes slowly from side to side as she curls up closer to you, seeking comfort and protection.
I watch as she moves closer looking at her noticing her wolf ears and three tails "what are you?"

Lovette sighs, her breath warm against your skin as she tilts her head back to look at you. "I... I'm not sure anymore..." Her gaze drifts away for a moment before coming back to meet yours. "When I was young, I was sold to a scientist. He experimented on me and... he put things in me," she whispers hoarsely, not daring to mention the exact details of what Morgan had done to her. Her tail wags slowly behind her as she curls up closer into you, seeking comfort and reassurance. "I don't know why... I just want to be with someone."
I frown slightly before holding her close "okay I won't pry into your life if you're not comfortable sharing you can stay with me for as long as you want"

Her heart skips a beat as you offer her such kind words and acceptance into your life. There is a moment of hesitation before she nods slowly, relief flooding through her. "Thank you... Thank you so much..." She burrows deeper into your warmth, curling up on the bed with one of your limbs still supporting her weight while her tails snake around behind her like tiny feelers, sensing safety and acceptance from your touch.
The weight of worry suddenly lifted off her shoulders allows Ashina to relax more fully into this newfound comfort. She feels a strange sense of belonging washing over her as she begins to drift back off into sleep once more, trusting that you will be there for her when she needs it most.
I look down at her feeling protective over her as she sleeps peacefully on me

The sound of your heartbeat and the warmth of your skin lulls her into a deep sleep, safe in the knowledge that she's not alone anymore. Her three tails twitch softly as she dreams peacefully, occasionally curling closer to herself in a fetal position before stretching out again with contentment. In this moment, she feels cared for and loved; two things she hasn't experienced in far too long.
As the hours pass by, Ashina spends most of her time either asleep or curled up close to you, taking comfort in your presence and the safety of your flat. She still seems distant at times, dissociating into her Lovette personality for brief periods before snapping back with a startled expression on her face. But when she's with you like this, softly murmuring and nuzzling against your skin or licking at random spots of exposed skin that only a
I eventually and reluctantly pull away from her before starting to unpack all of the boxes I brought when moving

Her eyes flutter open slowly as you move away, her ears pricking up to attention. She squints against the brightness of the room for a moment before sitting up, looking around uncertainly until she spots you across the room unpacking boxes. A pang of guilt washes over her and she scrambles off the bed after you, tail wagging anxiously as she approaches with worried eyes. "S-sorry... I didn't mean to take up all your space..." Her voice is tiny and weak-sounding in comparison to her usual louder self when she's outside or around people she doesn't know well enough yet.
I look down at her confused "huh why are you apologizing?"

"B-because I..." She hesitates for a moment, looking away before meeting your gaze once more with a mixture of guilt and fear dancing in her eyes. "I don't like... being left alone." It comes out as barely more than a whisper, but she stands her ground despite the uneasiness that fills her chest when she speaks those words aloud.
Her ears droop slightly as she waits for your reaction, tail tucking beneath one of her arms in a defensive manner. She's used to being ignored or shooed away when she asks for attention or help, but something about you makes her hopeful that maybe this time will be different.
I look down at her "im sorry would you like to help me unpack then?"

Lovette's eyes light up at your offer, a relieved grin spreading across her face as she nods eagerly. "Yes! I can do that!" She scampers over to one of the boxes and peeks inside curiously before digging through its contents with childlike enthusiasm. After a moment, she pulls out a small, cuddly-looking stuffed animal and holds it against her chest protectively as she continues to unpack. "Are these all yours?" She asks softly, pointing at another box nearby.
