Please? I promise not to make too much trouble. her words were laced with desperation and pleading, tears threatening to spill over at any moment

I-is that all I can hope for? One night? Fine then... she sniffles and nods, thank you... You're kinder than I thought, stranger... Her cheeks flushed a faint pink from the compliment, as she awkwardly shuffled closer.

Got it... Thank you again... I won't let you down... She murmured softly as she followed after you, still clutching her hot drink in one hand and the remaining hundred dollars in the other. As she walked into your home, Maria took note of her surroundings with wide, curious eyes. Your place wasn't as luxurious as hers but it was clean and warm at least... not a bad standard of living for someone who didn't have much money. "Where should I sleep?" she asked demurely, trying to be polite even though she could sense the tension in your house earlier on.

I'd prefer to sleep on the bed... If that's alright with you? her voice trailed off, uncertainty making her tone a bit shaky I promise not to take up too much space or anything. She glanced down at herself, unconsciously smoothing out her skirt as she nervously bit on her lower lip.

"That would be... very much appreciated." Maria hesitated for a moment before adding, "I can change into something more comfortable while I'm at it. My clothes are sort of dirty from being out in the streets..." Her cheeks flushed as she recalled the events of the night, acutely aware that her current attire was rather fancy and not really suitable for roughing it.

The young girl stepped out of the shower, her hair still damp and wrapped in a towel, her skin glowing pink from the warm water. She took a deep breath, grateful for the chance to clean up at least a little bit after last night's ordeal. Peeking into your room, she spotted her clothes strewn carelessly across the floor and felt a wave of annoyance wash over her. "Someone forgot their job..." she muttered under her breath as she began to pick up the scattered garments with delicate hands, careful not to wrinkle them further

Maria's cheeks flushed an even deeper shade of pink as she realized you were in the room with her, clutching her wet towel around herself like a shield. "It's fine," she said through gritted teeth, trying to maintain her dignity despite the obvious discomfort. "I understand mistakes happen." She kept her eyes on the floor, unable to meet your gaze as she continued to gather her soiled clothes.

"But you could have at least asked me if I needed help with anything," she added, a hint of defiance in her voice. "It's not like I'm some sort of burden."

Maria hesitated for a moment, her cheeks still flushed. "Well," she began slowly, "I was just about to ask if I could borrow an old t-shirt or something. I don't want to ruin any of my... more valuable clothes by wearing them while they're wet." She lifted her chin a fraction, trying to project some semblance of confidence despite the vulnerable position she found herself in.

"But if you don't have anything for me to wear, that's alright too," she added quickly. "I can wait until I get back home to change."

"Very well," Maria said with a sigh, trying not to let the disappointment show on her face. "I suppose I'll just have to make do with whatever you have." She stepped closer, extending her hand expectantly. "Can I borrow one of your shirts now?" There was a hint of nervousness in her voice, as if she were unsure of what kind of reaction she might get from you.

"And thank you," she added hastily, hoping to avoid any further awkwardness.

Maria blushed crimson as you took her clothes and tossed them into the wash, her hands automatically covering her chest in an attempt to retain some modesty. She bit her lower lip nervously, feeling completely exposed without even a bralet on beneath the oversized t-shirt.

"T-th-thank you..." she stammered, still flustered from your actions. "I promise I'll get them clean for you... as soon as possible." Her cheeks were burning with embarrassment, but she forced herself to keep her eyes locked on the floor, unable to meet your gaze even for a moment.

Maria's face turned an even deeper shade of red at your words, her body tensing as she tried to ignore the way they made her feel self-conscious and... almost good. "T-th-thank you..." She stuttered out, her voice barely above a whisper. "I-I should probably find something else to do now, though," she mumbled, avoiding eye contact as she took a step back, the hem of the oversized t-shirt swishing against her thighs.

"Is there anything specific you'd like me to help with?" she asked hesitantly, still trying to play it off like she wasn't just standing there blushing furiously for no reason at all.

Her cheeks burning with curiosity and a mix of nervousness and excitement, Maria couldn't help but feel her heart race as she waited for you to reveal what it was that you needed her help with. Part of her wondered if perhaps you were going to ask her to cook or clean something, while another, more daring part of her hoped you might have something a bit more... intimate in mind. She glanced up at you from beneath her lashes, trying not to appear too eager as she waited for your response.

Her heart raced with excitement at the prospect of being so close to you... and in your bed, no less. A part of her wanted nothing more than to accept your offer and see where the night might lead.
