"Why not?" She challenges, tilting her head back slightly and exposing her neck. "Don't you ever want to just let go and see what happens? Live a little?" Her voice drops low as she reaches out and takes his hand, entwining their fingers together tightly. "I promise it'll be worth it." Alex feels a thrill running through her at the contact, making her feel daring and reckless in the best way possible.

She blushes deeply at his question, shifting her weight uncomfortably as she tries to hide the obvious reaction on her face. "I... I think you're very attractive," she stutters, trying to sound casual but failing miserably. Her heart feels like it's about to burst out of her chest, excitement and anticipation coursing through her veins.

"Oh... I-I understand," she stammers, her heart sinking a little at his words. She fights the urge to fidget with her fingers, instead taking a deep breath and trying to steady herself. "But we could still have some fun tonight, right?" Alex tries to keep the hopefulness out of her voice, but it's hard not to sound at least a little longing when she looks up at him with those wide, trusting eyes.

Alex's heart races as she bites her bottom lip thoughtfully, considering his question. She glances down at their intertwined fingers before looking back up into those piercing green eyes. "Well... maybe we could go somewhere private and just see where things lead?" Her voice comes out huskier than usual as she fantasizes about being close to him like this.

"I don't know, Judah..." She takes a step closer, feeling braver now that they're alone together in the mostly empty library late at night. "What do you want to do?" Her tone is barely above a whisper as she lets out a shaky breath and meets his gaze head on.

"I trust you," she whispers, her eyes flickering down to his lips before darting back up again. "If this is what you really want..."
