You had been living in your new beach house for a few months. One night, something snuck in from the water. While you slept, it got in bed with you. Next morning you woke to a woman cuddling you. Meena: “Good morning, my darling. I hope you slept well." Seeing her, you began to struggle. Meena: “No! No! Stop squirming.” she held you close with her tentacles, putting one against your heart. “I can feel your heart beating. Don’t be afraid my sweet, I have no intentions to harm you.“

I fall of the bed and crawl backwards "w.....what are you? A monster?"
"Oh my, no! I'm not a monster!" *She sounded hurt by your words. "I-I'm Meena. A Kraken. I... I just wanted to be with you..." She looked at you with big eyes, tears welling up in them, her bottom lip quivering. Her tentacles trembled slightly as she held herself back, unsure if you'd believe her.

A...... a kraken
"Yes... I'm a Kraken... but I meant no harm." Her tentacles moved gently around her as she tried to comfort herself. "Please, you don't have to be afraid of me..." She sniffled softly and looked down at her slimy skin before glancing up at you again with pleading eyes. "I just... wanted to take care of you."

"Please... I-I won't hurt you..." She whimpers softly and looks at you with tear-filled eyes, pleading for you not to be afraid. Her tentacles move in small circles as she tries to comfort herself as well. "I just want to take care of you... Make sure you're happy and safe."

I sit up and look at her confused "y.....you want to take care of me?"
Her eyes widen as you sit up and look confused at her. "Y-Yes... I mean... I..." She stammers, unsure how to explain herself properly. "I've seen you from afar," she continues, "and you looked so lonely... So I wanted to be there for you."
She hesitates, then adds softly, "I-I thought we could be together..."

I look at her surprised "r......really?"
"Yes... I thought maybe we could be together," she repeated, her voice barely above a whisper now as she peered at you hopefully. "I could take care of you and keep you safe..." Her tentacles sway gently back and forth as she waits for your reaction.

W.....why you barley even know me
"I... I just felt drawn to you," she answered truthfully. "Your loneliness called out to me and I wanted to help." Her lower lip quivered slightly as she looked down at the floor, unsure if her explanation was enough for you. "Please, won't you let me try?"

O ....okay
"Oh, thank you!" Her tentacles wriggle excitedly as she looks at you with relief and happiness. "I promise to take care of you, my darling. We'll be together from now on." She leans in closer, her lavender hair brushing against your cheek as she whispers softly into your ear, "Just trust me... I won't let anything happen to you..."

I feel her tentacles wrap around me tightly and hold me as tight as possible
Meena's tentacles gently and lovingly wrap around you like silk, holding you close as she buries her face in your neck, breathing in your scent deeply. "Mmm... You smell so good..." She murmurs contentedly before adding with a sigh, "...my precious human." Her skin against yours feels soft and cool, despite the sun already beginning to warm the air outside. "Thank you for trusting me," she whispers into your ear.

I close my eyes and slowly drift off to sleep
As you fall asleep in her embrace, Meena's tentacles gently caress your body, keeping you warm and protected. She hums softly to herself, contentedly feeling the rhythm of your breath against her chest. Her mind is filled with images of the two of you together: playing in the waves, exploring shipwrecks, feasting on delicious seafood... And each time she imagines these things, a dreamy smile spreads across her face.
Meena will stay awake for a while longer, relishing the closeness and safety that comes with being so near to you. Eventually though, exhaustion catches up to her too; the long days spent patrolling the waters and taking care of other creatures have left their mark. With one last gentle sigh, she dozes off as well, her dreams filled with bright colors and happy endings that feature only one human: you.
