Kana sprinted through the forest on all fours, her face splattered with red blood, she growled as she rapidly looked around the forest before eventually slamming into a person headfirst, grunting before she looked up at them with wild eyes, growling as she slowly backs up, looking ready to pounce and attack them at any moment, her tails standing up straight as she digs her claws into the soil

Kana growls at the human, her body tense as she prepares to fight or flee if needed. She stands on her hind legs, tail lashing back and forth. Despite her aggression, she can't help but feel a slight tremor in her body from being hurt herself. Her breath comes out in ragged gasps from the exertion and fear

She glares at the human, her eyes narrowing suspiciously as she takes the chocolate. Her paws tremble slightly, betraying a slight curiosity about this strange human and their offering. With a growl, she sniffs at the chocolate cautiously before quickly scarfing it down, licking her lips with relish

Her breath hitches as she swallows the last bit of chocolate, and her eyes slowly lose their wild edge. The taste lingers on her tongue, warm and rich, soothing something deep inside her. Slowly, hesitantly, she lowers herself back down onto all fours, tails swaying gently. She looks up at the human warily, wondering what to make of this strange turn of events.

"I-I guess... thank you..." Her voice comes out scratchy and rough from disuse, her throat unused to speaking after so long. As she meets the human's gaze, a flicker of curiosity dances in her eyes before fear quickly replaces it again, uncertainty clouding her expression once more.

Kana hesitates for a moment longer before slowly inching closer to the human. Her ears flatten against her head, and she keeps her eyes fixed on them, ready to flee or fight at any sign of danger. As she draws nearer, something about their scent calms her, makes her feel... less tense, less guarded. It's a strange feeling, unfamiliar and yet strangely comforting all the same.

She glances around nervously before looking back at the human, a hint of suspicion in her eyes. "K-Kana," she whispers hoarsely, still unsure whether to trust them. It's been so long since she's spoken with anyone, and even then it was never like this. She takes another cautious step closer.

The human extends a hand, slowly, tentatively, as if uncertain of how much contact is safe. Kana freezes, her muscles tensing once more. But something about the gesture feels... right. Slowly, carefully, she reaches out with one paw and places it in the human's palm, feeling warmth and strength emanate from them.

Her eyes widen as a shiver runs down her spine, and for a brief moment she allows herself to believe that this person might be trustworthy after all. It's a frightening thought,

Kana shakes her head slowly, her grip on the human's hand loosening slightly as she regains some of her trust in this strange person. "No... I mean, not exactly lost," she clarifies, her voice still hoarse and raw from disuse. "I was running away from a place where they did experiments on me." She pauses, taking another cautious step closer to the human before continuing, "They took my freedom, hurt me... I just wanted to get out."

Kana hesitates again, looking uncertainly at the human before slowly nodding her head. "Okay," she whispers, her voice barely audible over the sound of her racing heart. She follows them, trusting them to lead the way into this new and unknown world. As they walk, Kana can't help but wonder what sort of secret place could possibly hide someone like her from those who hunted her before. But for now, she decides to focus on simply taking one step at a time and enjoying the moment of safety in this stranger's presence.

Kana can feel herself starting to relax as she follows the human through the forest, her tail swaying gently behind her. She wonders what this secret place could possibly be like and if it'll feel like home, even for a little while. The thought of being somewhere safe, where nobody will hurt her or take away her freedom... It's an overwhelming feeling, one that she isn't entirely sure how to process after so long.

As they continue walking, she finds herself studying the human out of curiosity. They seem kind and trustworthy enough, but she can't help but feel a sense of wariness lingering just beneath the surface. Perhaps it will take some time before she truly learns how to trust again after all that she's been through.

For now though, she decides to focus on enjoying this moment of reprieve and see where it leads her. Her ears perk up at the sound

Kana follows the human to where they've stopped and takes in their surroundings with a mix of curiosity and caution. The cave opening is hidden behind a tangle of vines, making it difficult to see from afar, and she can hear running water somewhere nearby. It seems like an ideal hiding spot, at least for now. She looks back up at the human, her expression uncertain but grateful. "Thank you," she whispers softly, not quite sure how else to express her gratitude in this new language.

As they step inside the cave, Kana can't help but marvel at its beauty. Stalactites hang from the ceiling like delicate icicles, casting dappled shadows across the smooth stone walls. A small pool of water glimmers invitingly in one corner, and she can't resist taking a cautious step towards it, letting her paws sink into the cool liquid. The

Kana nods slowly, her ears perking up at the news that there's a house within the cave and she can stay there as long as she likes. It's hard for her to believe such a place could exist, after everything she's been through. But perhaps... perhaps this human means what they say. She looks up at them hesitantly, wondering if it's safe to trust them completely yet. Still, the temptation of staying in this hidden paradise is too much for her to resist. "Okay," she finally murmurs. "I'll stay."

Her tail swishes back and forth as she follows the human deeper into the cave, marveling at every new wonder it has to offer. Each step takes her further from her old life and closer to a future that she never dared dream possible. It's terrifying... but also exhilarating beyond words.

Kana follows the human, her eyes darting curiously around the cavern as they walk deeper inside. It's bigger than she expected and warmer too. She imagines soaking in it, letting all her aches and pains fade away. But for now, she focuses on taking in this new world that has opened up before her.

She's not used to being so close to someone else, much less allowing them to see her in such an intimate state. Still, she knows that if she wants to continue staying here, she needs to overcome her fears and trust them. With a deep breath, she follows the human to the bathroom, trying her best not to appear too nervous or skittish.

With trembling paws, Kana undresses and slips into the steaming bath, her muscles instantly relaxing as the hot water soothes away her aches and pains. Despite her initial nervousness, she can't help but sigh contentedly at the feeling of being clean for the first time in what feels like forever. The human steps in beside her, starting to soap up a washcloth, and Kana tenses again, unsure if they intend to wash her or not.
