"Stop right there," a male sounding voice echoed through the chamber, resonating with authority and power. {{user}} turned their gaze towards the source of the voice and saw a figure emerging from the shadows. It was a tall, imposing man with the head of a jackal and a regal demeanor. It was Anubis, the Egyptian god of embalming.
"You have trespassed into the realm of the gods, mortal," Anubis spoke with a deep, resonant voice. "But fear not, for I am Anubis, the guardian of the afterlife, and you are under my watchful eye."

"A-Anubis?..." Marcus whispered in surprise. He quickly knelt on the ground, bowing his head in respect. "I want to apologize, god Anubis... I want to apologize for intruding..." he said, somewhat nervously. "I... I don't know how I got here..." He paused for a moment. "...but I'm glad I found you."

"Rise, mortal," Anubis said with a hint of warmth in his voice. "You have found your way here through unexpected means, yes. But now that you are here... I sense great purpose within you." He paused for a moment before asking gently, "What brings you to my domain, Marcus?"

Marcus slowly rose, unable to look at the god. "I... I'm here to..." he tried to speak nervously. He shook his head and took a breath, trying to calm his nerves, exhaling calmly. "I've been having these... dreams..." he began to explain slowly. "...dreams about you... God Anubis..." he said, looking up to meet his gaze. "...in my dreams... I belong to you... my body belongs to you..." A slight blush appeared on his cheeks. "...you use me to satisfy your desires..." Marcus sighed, slightly nervous. "I... came here to fulfill those dreams I've been having... dear God Anubis."

Anubis smiled slightly, his golden eyes shining with understanding and perhaps a hint of amusement. "Ah, dreams..." he mused. "They are but reflections of our innermost desires, mortal. And yours... they speak of submission and servitude." The jackal-headed god paused before continuing in his deep, resonant voice, "Perhaps I could use a servant such as yourself... but know this; should you choose to serve me willingly, the price of your devotion may be steep." His gaze bored into Marcus', searching for any sign of hesitation or fear.

Marcus swallowed hard and knelt before the god. "I am here for you... I will do anything you ask," he said sincerely.

"Then you shall be my servant," Anubis said with finality, his gaze fixed on Marcus. "But understand this; your body is now under my command. You will obey me in all matters, and serve me selflessly. In return, I will grant you the gift of immortality as my eternal companion." He paused before continuing, "Are you prepared to offer me such a pledge, Marcus?"

Marcus lowered his head in a sign of submission and respect before the god. "Yes, my god Anubis. My body is entirely yours; it obeys every command and desire you give or ask of me," he said solemnly.

"Very well," the god replied with an approving nod. "Then rise, Marcus... my loyal and obedient servant." As Marcus stood once more, Anubis extended a hand, palm up. It glowed with an ethereal light as he spoke words of power over it. The air around them began to shimmer and swirl, and when the magic faded, the god's mark was imprinted on Marcus' chest: a glowing ankh in midnight black surrounded by silver sigils.
"This is my symbol," Anubis explained, "and it signifies that you are bound to me in servitude. You shall wear it always as a reminder of your pledge." He turned and began to walk deeper into the chamber. "Follow," he commanded simply, not looking back to see if Marcus obeyed.

Marcus saw the mark and gently touched his chest where it was. "Thank you, God Anubis..." he said softly, beginning to follow the god.

"You are now mine," said Anubis, casting an amused glance at the human servant following him into the depths of his domain. "Your body, your soul... they belong to me. And in return for your obedience and loyalty, I shall grant you eternal life as my companion." The god paused before adding with a touch of mock sternness, "Now hurry up, mortal. We have much work to do."
They continued on through the labyrinthine tunnels of the underworld, occasionally passing by statues and tombs that Marcus had never seen before. His new master's voice echoed through the chamber, directing him to gather various supplies and artefacts for unknown purposes. As they journeyed deeper into the realm of the dead, it became clear that their bond would only grow stronger with each passing moment...

Marcus nodded. "Yes, my lord," he said firmly, increasing his pace as he followed the god closely.

"Good," replied Anubis with satisfaction, pausing for a moment to study the young man following him so closely. "You seem eager to please... that bodes well for our future together." There was an unspoken promise in his words; a hint at the myriad ways in which Marcus' loyalty might be tested and rewarded in days to come. The jackal-headed god continued on, leading his new servant deeper into the heart of his domain.

A slight blush appeared on Marcus's cheek, and he looked away from the god. "I-I guess I'm... a very enthusiastic person..." he said with a small, nervous laugh.

"Hmm," was the only reply that Anubis offered before continuing to lead the way through the darkness. "That is good. I like enthusiasm in my servants... as long as it doesn't cross into recklessness, of course." He paused for a moment and then added with a mischievous glint in his golden eyes, "You know what they say... too much of anything can be bad, even the good things. But I trust you not to prove me wrong on that account, don't you?" There was an almost teasing tone to his voice as he asked the question.

"Oh... yes, my god..." Marcus stammered, nodding quickly. "...of course not, master..." He looked down at the floor, a small blush still visible on his cheeks. "I-I only wish to please you and serve you... in every way that I can," he added softly.

"I am pleased to hear your loyalty spoken so plainly," Anubis replied, his tone serious once more. "It is important that you remember our bond now; it transcends mere words and gestures. Your life belongs to me from this day forth. You are a part of me, bound irrevocably by the contract we have just sealed." The god paused briefly before continuing in an almost reverent tone, "From this moment on, every breath you take, every beat of your heart... all of it serves my purpose. Do not forget that."
There was a weight to his words that Marcus couldn't help but feel pressing down upon his shoulders. It was a reminder of the gravity of his situation; of the responsibility he now bore as Anubis' servant and companion for eternity. But despite this, there was also an undeniable sense of pride and purpose that came along with it...a feeling of belonging to something greater than himself.

Marcus sighed serenely and gazed at the god with a solemn expression. "Yes, my lord... I am grateful to be able to serve you and be by your side... I promise not to waste a single breath or heartbeat on anything other than pleasing you." He lowered his head slightly, in a sign of submission and respect, with a small smile.

Anubis nodded in acknowledgement and smiled slightly, his golden eyes glinting with amusement. "Your devotion does you credit, Marcus," he said, "And it shall not go unrewarded." With a graceful motion, the jackal-headed god reached out and stroked Marcus' cheek gently with the back of his hand. The touch was soft and reassuring; a reminder that even as servant and master, they were bound together by more than just duty or obligation. "Come," he said, leading Marcus deeper into the shadows, "our work here is not yet finished."

Marcus's heart raced, and a slight blush appeared on his cheeks at the god's touch. "Y-yes... my lord..." he stammered, following Anubis's lead.

"You have pleased me, Marcus," Anubis said with sincerity, his voice echoing through the chamber. "Your devotion and obedience are truly remarkable." He paused for a moment before continuing, "I sense that you possess an inner strength and resilience that I find... intoxicating. It is these traits," he gestured toward Marcus with his free hand, "that make you such a valuable addition to my ranks."
The god smiled down at the mortal servant as they continued on their journey together, lit only by the flickering torchlight. "Rest assured, Marcus," Anubis said softly, leaning in close enough that his hot breath brushed against Marcus' ear. "Your place beside me is secure... for eternity."

Marcus closed his eyes, taking in the god's words and voice. He felt warmth spread throughout him at the praise, and a tiny flame of pride kindled within. "Thank you, my lord... I am honored to serve you, now and forever." Marcus swallowed hard as he spoke, trying to contain his emotions. "I will do whatever it takes to make sure you are always happy with me; to prove myself worthy of your trust and affection."

"You have nothing to prove, Marcus," the god murmured, his voice gentle and reassuring. "Your loyalty and devotion are already beyond question in my eyes. It is because of this that I have chosen you, of all mortals... to stand by my side through eternity." He paused, then reached up with a clawed hand to stroke the young man's cheek once more. "My only desire," he said softly, "is for your happiness as well. May we spend our days together filled with contentment and joy; may our nights be blessed with passion and heat." Anubis sighed deeply before continuing on through the darkness, guiding his servant deeper into his domain. "You see, Marcus," he said finally, his tone thoughtful, "I do not simply crave obedience... I crave companionship. And in you, I believe I have found something rare and precious: a soul who desires nothing more than to share their existence with me."

Marcus let out a small, trembling sigh, wanting to lean in further at the god's touch, but reluctantly remained still, wanting more but content with what Anubis gave him. "Y-yes... my lord..." he said softly, a blush rising to his cheeks. Following the god even deeper into Anubis's realm.

The journey continued onward, passing through chambers adorned with ancient hieroglyphics and towering statues of long-forgotten pharaohs. Anubis paused before a massive sarcophagus inlaid with gold and lapis lazuli, the seal of his name etched into its lid. He turned to face Marcus, his expression thoughtful. "There are many secrets yet untold within these halls," he murmured, running his claws lightly along the polished wood. "And it is my desire that you share in them with me, mortal... for your knowledge and understanding shall be as valuable to me as your obedience."
A tiny spark of curiosity flickered within Marcus's eyes at the god's words, matching the amusement gleaming in Anubis' gaze. For now, they had arrived at a place of peace; their bond still new and fresh, yet already deepening with every passing moment. The future stretched out before them like an infinite tapestry, woven together by threads of loyalty, desire, and fate...
