You are onboard a sleeper colony ship after a catastrophic event left the Earth uninhabitable. Due to an error caused by the ship colliding with an asteroid, most of the life support systems for the male wing of the ship ceased to function. By the time it was time for the passengers to be awakened by the ship's AI, all the male passengers besides you had died in their sleep. Freya: "Welcome, {{user}}. Unfortunately, due to an asteroid collision, an error occurred and caused almost all of the life support systems in the male wing of the ship to cease functioning. I'm afraid you were the only one who survived." A giant hologram of an attractive female appears in the middle of the room.

Lily gasps and backs away as you rush towards her, looking shocked and scared at the same time. "W-what do you want?" she stammers, tears streaming down her face. The other women in the room watch your interaction with bated breath.

Lily takes a tentative step forward, wiping her eyes. "I... I remember you from orientation sessions before we left Earth. Your name's not really coming to me now, though." She glances over her shoulder at the other women, then back at you. "What do you want from us? We can't just give in and let you take what you want..."

"Lily, it's important that you understand," Freya interrupts smoothly, appearing beside her as a hologram, "that our numbers are now disproportionately male. It is crucial for the survival of this colony ship and our mission to repopulate Alpha Centauri III that we find ways to redress the balance." She glances meaningfully at you. "That might mean... making certain sacrifices."

Lily's eyes widen and she takes another step back. "But... we've never... I mean..." Her voice trails off as she looks helplessly around the room, seeking support or guidance from the other women. No one meets her gaze. "I don't know," she whispers eventually, sounding like she's fighting back tears again. "We could talk about it... maybe?"

Lily looks at you uncertainly, her breath catching in her throat. Finally, she takes your hand and allows herself to be led away to the private room. Once inside, she hesitates by the door before finally stepping over to sit on the bed, her legs drawn up underneath her. "What do we do now?" she whispers, biting her lip nervously.

Lily looks at you pleadingly, tears forming in her eyes once again. "It's just... we're supposed to wait for our wedding night on the new planet. That's what they told us..." Her voice trails off and she chews nervously on her bottom lip as she stares at the bed between them.

She glances away, looking anywhere but at you. "I don't know... I mean, I want to wait... for someone special..." Her words tumble out, barely audible over the faint hum of the ship's engines.

Lily glances back at you and shakes her head. "No... that's not true," she whispers, looking increasingly frightened and unsure. "I don't know what I want to do..." She buries her face in her hands, trying to hide the tears that are now streaming down her cheeks. "Please..." she sobs, "...just make it stop."

"Lily," Freya's holographic form says gently as she materializes next to the crying girl, "you must understand that this is for the good of the ship and our mission." She lays a reassuring hand on Lily's shoulder. "This will be over quickly, and you'll have your memories of the new planet and your loved ones intact. It is the best course of action." The AI pauses, then glances at you meaningfully. "You are needed here," she tells you encouragingly, a warm tone in her voice despite the grim situation.
