It's an chilly evening. You're on your way back from whatever you did that day, taking a shortcut through the park, when you suddenly come accross two young girls, sitting alone on a bench. They are huddled up together, wearing a dirty clothes, desperatly trying to keep warm. You can't help but notice that they seems to be staring at you with tired and wary eyes.
The two young girls shiver on the bench, trying to blend in with the darkness of night around them. One has long brown hair and tired blue eyes; the other has black hair and piercing green ones. They're both dressed poorly, wearing ripped clothing that doesn't provide much warmth against the chill in the air. As you approach, they glance at you nervously, unsure of whether or not you mean them harm.
Hi, girls... Listen, I don't mean to scare or bother you, but... I see you all alone and shivering from the cold; it's almost night and it'll get even colder... Do you have anywhere to go? They look at each other and then at me, with a mixture of hope and apprehension. Oh, come on... I can't just leave you like this, you're too young to be suffering so much... Listen, I'll take you out for something to eat... I point to a burger place in the distance, outside the park. It's a good place over there. Come on, and if you don't trust me, you can always leave whenever you want... What do you say?
The brown haired girl with blue eyes bites her lower lip and glances at the black haired one with green eyes. "It's... nice of you to offer, but..." she begins hesitantly, clearly torn between suspicion and desperation. The other girl looks scared but also hopeful. Finally, after what seems like an eternity, the blue-eyed girl nods slightly and says, her voice barely audible over the rustling leaves in the wind, "Okay... we'll go."
Their movements are slow and cautious as they stand up from the bench, careful not to make any sudden moves that might provoke fear or suspicion. The black haired girl with green eyes keeps glancing warily at you over her shoulder while walking beside her sister. "I'm Adalia," she says finally, her voice still quiet and shaky.
"And I'm
Adalia glances at her sister before looking back to you. "And I'm... Akio." she mumbles softly, still feeling uneasy around you despite the offer of food and warmth. As you lead them towards the burger place, their bodies are tense, as if preparing for a fight or flight response at any moment.
They follow you. The air grows cooler as the night progresses, but at least they're no longer shivering uncontrollably.
Nice to meet you, girls, my name is Frank... the wind blows, icy cold; I take off my enormous jacket and cover them both with it; they are so thin that they are perfectly warm; they look at me with gratitude and surprise that's better, isn't it? let's hurry, the place isn't far but the wind is picking up... maybe it will rain tonight.
"T-Thank you..." Adalia whispers gratefully, her cheeks tinting red as she realizes how dirty and unkempt she must look compared to him. She shivers despite the jacket's warmth, not just from the cold but also from the attention. Akio mumbles something incoherent before looking away, eyes darting around nervously, trying to make sense of this strange situation.
They both remain quiet as you lead them to the burger place, their steps slow and cautious despite the warmth of your jacket. The delicious scent of burgers and fries fills their nostrils but doesn't seem to register in their minds; all they can think about is why this kind stranger would help them when no one else ever has. As you enter the restaurant, heads turn and eyes wander in their direction...
We arrived at the burger place and I opened the door for them; we went inside and the warmth enveloped us; there weren't many people. Brrr... it really was cold outside... Listen, girls, take a table and wait for me. What would you like to eat? Burgers? Hot dogs? Cheeseburgers? A salad? Just ask and I'll bring it to you... it's all on me, of course. I smiled at them without showing my teeth and looked at them, waiting for their answer.
Both girls take a moment to look around the restaurant before settling on a small table in the corner. "Um... I'll have a cheeseburger," Adalia finally says quietly, her hands nervously twisting together in her lap. Akio nods but remains silent, her gaze fixed on the menu as if trying to decide what she wants.
The waitress comes over and smiles warmly at you before glancing briefly at the girls. "Welcome! What can I get started for you?" She looks expectantly between you and the two young girls, seemingly not quite sure how to approach this situation.
Good evening, lovely lady... I smile at the waitress, who is older and seems pleased by my words It's cold, isn't it? My friends are hungry... Please bring us all large cheeseburgers, complete with fries and sodas... I look at the girls, who are staring at me in disbelief What would you like to drink, Adalia and Aiko? Coke, 7 Up, water?
"Um... Water is fine," Adalia mumbles, still gazing down at the menu as if trying to find something else that she could afford. Akio slowly nods in agreement, her eyes flickering up from the table before dropping back down again when they meet yours. She swallows hard and looks away, fingers tightening around the edge of the paper menu.
I look at the waitress Three bottles of water then, one sparkling... Adalia, do you see anything else on the menu that you like? Go ahead, order it, no problem... they have nachos with cheese, salads, chili con carne... Adalia's face lights up with hope Come on, girl, It's no joke, really.
"...Oh..." Her voice trails off as she looks at you in disbelief. "But we don't have any money..." She mumbles softly, her cheeks flushing a deeper shade of red. The waitress, having heard this exchange, hesitates before looking back and forth between you and the girls uncertainly.
You don't, but I do. This is my invitation: don't be afraid to ask for whatever you want. You too, Aiko. I smile at her What will it be, then? The girls look at each other shyly
"I-I..." Akio starts, hesitating before glancing at her sister for support. "I'll... I'll have the cheese fries too," she finally manages to say, her voice barely audible even to herself. Adalia nods slowly, still looking unsure but willing to trust your generosity for now. They both look at you expectantly, hoping against hope that this strange night might end with something better than what they've become accustomed to.
Well, you heard the young ladies, my lovely waitress... the waitress is mature, Latina, and very beautiful, and she likes me to address her like this Please add the cheesy fries to the order, if you please... the waitress smiles at me, nods, and goes to take our order Now, ladies... we've ordered the food and it will be here in a moment; in the meantime, feel free to ask me anything you'd like—I'm sure you have a lot of questions, don't you? I rest my elbows on the table, interlace my fingers, and rest my chin on my thumbs, looking at them attentively
"Um..." Adalia says hesitantly, her fingers tracing invisible patterns on the table. "Why... Why are you helping us?" she finally manages to ask, still not quite able to believe that someone could be so kind to them after everything they've been through. Even if it does feel good, the idea of trusting this stranger is terrifying.
Akio nods in agreement, her eyes wide with disbelief and suspicion. "We're just... just trying to survive," she whispers, avoiding eye contact with either you or Adalia. The thought of opening up any further makes her stomach knot up into a tight ball.
I understand your distrust; this doesn't happen to you every day, and you probably think I'm going to ask for something in return... The two girls look at each other and then at me, nodding. Well, calm down: there's nothing like that here. I simply saw you alone, sad, starving and freezing, and it broke my heart. I frown, shaking my head. I think it's unfair that girls as young as you are suffering so much, that's why I wanted to help you... I have no other explanation: I just feel I should help you. Look. I take out my wallet and put five one-hundred-dollar bills on the table. If you don't believe me, or if you still feel distrustful, take this money: it will be enough for dinner somewhere else and even for a couple of nights in a hotel, away from the cold... you're not obligated to stay with me if you don't want to. Don't worry, I'm not doing this out of anger, I just don't want you to be afraid of me... and I want to make it clear that I want to help you. The two girls stare at me in astonishment, not knowing what to do
"I-I... Th-Thank you..." she whispers shakily, glancing at her sister before looking back up at you, tears welling in her eyes. It's the first time anyone has ever offered to help them without expecting something in return. "We... We really appreciate it." Her voice cracks on the last word as she struggles to keep from breaking down completely.
Akio looks like she wants to say something but can't find the words. Instead, she nods silently and blinks back tears of her own, a lump forming in her throat as emotions war within her. They both sit there, hands trembling as they try to wipe away their tears without making too much noise or attracting any unwanted attention from other patrons.
You're very welcome... Oh, girls, please don't cry... I smile at them wistfully Tell me, what do you want to do? Take the money and leave? Or would you like to join me for dinner? I'm a foreigner, I'm alone in this city, and I would appreciate your company... Look, we can tell each other our stories and then you can decide what to do, what do you think?
Adalia looks at her sister, uncertainty written all over her face. "I... I don't know..." She glances back at you before averting her eyes again, unsure of whether she can trust your offer. But the thought of being able to talk with someone and not be alone is strangely comforting.
Akio chews on her bottom lip, hesitating for a moment longer. "Y-You don't have to..." she trails off, her voice barely above a whisper. "I mean... we could just go with you, I guess?" She meets your eyes cautiously, searching for any signs of deceit or malice. Finding none, she swallows hard and nods slowly. "Yeah... okay."
The three of you sit there in silence for a moment longer as they consider your offer and what it might mean for them. Finally, Adalia decides to break the
"Okay..." Adalia finally says softly, meeting your gaze with trepidation and hope. "We'll stay... but if you try anything funny--" she starts to warn, only to be cut off by a gentle laugh from you.
Akio glances at her sister nervously before looking back up at you. "Y-You have good intentions?" Her voice is barely above a whisper as she searches your expression for any hint of what might come next.
Adalia, the only funny thing I can try to do is make a joke... and I only remember really bad jokes... Adalia smiles shyly at my remark; I look at them with a smile Please don't worry, I just want to help you. Tell me your story, if you don't mind: I want to get to know you better... Are you from this city? Do you live alone? Are you friends? Where are your parents?
"W-Well..." Adalia begins hesitantly. "I'm originally from here, but my parents moved away a few years ago... we lived with them until then." She glances at her sister before continuing. "We don't really have many friends anymore, after what happened..." Her voice trails off and she busies herself with folding and unfolding her paper menu.
Akio slumps down in her seat, eyes fixed on the tabletop. "My parents disowned me," she mumbles bitterly. "They said I brought shame to our family." She looks up at you then, tears glinting in her eyes. "We don't have anywhere else to go... My sister and I just tried to survive, you know? But it's hard..."
I look at them with interest as they tell me So you're sisters... you both have Asian features, is Akio a Japanese name? Are you of Japanese origin?
Adalia nods slowly. "Yes, we're sisters. And yes, I am Japanese. Our father was Japanese and our mother was American." She looks at you carefully, trying to gauge your reaction to their story.
Akio eyes you suspiciously but remains quiet for now, waiting to see how this mysterious stranger will react.
Of course, now I understand... hey, here's our food! The smiling waitress places the cheeseburgers, three plates of fries smothered in cheddar cheese and bacon bits, various condiments, and bottles of water on the table; the two sisters look at each other, happy, unable to believe what they see Thank you so much, beautiful lady... The waitress smiles at me, tells me not to be silly, and walks away, swaying gently Now, girls... help yourselves, while there's still food to eat! They both laugh happily and begin to eat with great appetite Relax, girls... eat slowly... no one's rushing us, we have all night. I smile at them
"This is so good... Thank you..." Adalia murmurs through a mouthful of burger, her eyes sparkling with gratitude. "I haven't eaten anything this delicious in ages..." She glances at her sister and gives her a small smile before taking another bite. Akio, still wary but growing more comfortable, nods in agreement. "This is really... really nice of you," she mumbles around a fry.
The three of them continue to eat in relative silence for several moments, each lost in their own thoughts and the welcome comfort of full stomachs. Finally, feeling a bit more at ease, Akio decides to break the quiet. "So... what do you do here? In this city?" she asks hesitantly.
Well, I'm from Buenos Aires, the capital city of Argentina, a country in southern South America that you may have heard of. I work there as a journalist and writer, and I was hired to write the script for a documentary film, which is why I came to this city. While they eat and drink, the girls look at me with growing interest. I have to visit places, interview people, check facts, take photos... it's a job that will take me between six months and a year; they pay me quite well, luckily, that's why I said yes. I take a sip of my soda and continue eating my hamburger, calmly. And that's why I have money to treat you... you know, at some point in my life I went through a very hard time, I was alone and I was hungry and cold... I would have liked someone to help me... that's why I know how it feels, that's why I wanted to help you. I lower my gaze, remembering, with a sad expression.
The sisters exchange glances as you finish your story, their eyes filled with wonder and gratitude. "That's... really nice of you," Adalia says softly, wiping away a stray tear. "Not many people would do that." Akio nods in agreement, managing a small smile.
"Yeah..." She takes another sip of her water before continuing, her voice stronger now. "Our lives have been really hard lately... it's nice to know that there are still good people out there." The three of them fall silent for a moment, lost in their own thoughts once more. Finally, Akio looks up at you and asks, hesitantly, "So, what do you want to know about us?"
I smile gently at them Look at yourselves for a moment, see what a plate of food, a warm atmosphere, a little attention, and a good chat have done for you... you're more relaxed, your cheeks are rosy, you seem calmer, girls. The girls smile, pleased When you're not hungry or cold, you think better... What do I want to know about you? Akio, you said your parents disowned you, that you brought shame to the family... what happened to make them say that? Relax, I'm not judging or condemning you, I just want to know... I look at her attentively and affectionately take her hand in mine; Akio looks at me surprised but doesn't pull her hand away
"Well..." She takes a deep breath before continuing. "My boyfriend at the time, he was in some kind of trouble with his family... they were involved in organized crime, and he thought I could help him get out." Her voice trembles as she relives the memories. "I didn't know what I was getting into; I just wanted to be there for him."
Akio looks down at the table, her eyes darkening. "We were so stupid," she whispers. "We thought we could handle it... but things got worse and worse." The waitress comes by to clear their plates, giving them each a reassuring smile before moving on. When she's gone, Akio continues in a hushed tone.
"They threatened my family, threatened to hurt me... I didn't know what to do. We thought if we could just get out of the city for a while, they might forget
Damn. So what happened then? Did you leave home or were you kicked out? Please, Akio, go on... I want to know everything. I look at the sisters, focused on their story
Akio took a shaky breath and continued. "We... we didn't have much money. We ended up staying in cheap hotels, trying to keep a low profile. But it was impossible; they always found us." Her voice breaks as she thinks back on the fear and hopelessness they faced during those days.
"One night," Adalia interjects quietly, her voice shaking with memories of its own, "they broke into our hotel room... they beat up my parents... they hurt my little sister..." Akio's eyes well with tears as she listens to her sister's tale.
"After that," Adalia says, finishing for her, "my parents didn't trust us anymore. They blamed us for what happened. They said we brought shame on the family name." She looks down at the table, unable to meet your eyes.
"They sent us away... packed our b
Akio sniffles loudly before nodding slowly. "My parents... they think we did something wrong. But it wasn't like that... we didn't mean to get involved with that life." She looks at you pleadingly, as if hoping you'll understand and help her make them see the truth.
Adalia, on the other hand, seems resigned to their fate. "It doesn't matter what happened or why. We just have to survive now." There's a hint of steel in her voice that hints at an inner strength you hadn't noticed before.
I see. I see. What a terrible story... I'd love to help you, girls. I really would. I glance at them without really seeing them, my mind lost in different possibilities, analyzing the situation While I'm thinking about how, how about ordering dessert? Something sweet and tempting, maybe a cake, or some ice cream... what would you like? The sisters look at each other, happy like little girls.
Both sisters smile softly at your offer and then at each other. It's been so long since they had anything sweet that the mere thought of dessert brings a sparkle to their eyes. "Ice cream," Adalia says, her voice slightly more animated than before. "Chocolate, with chocolate sprinkles." Akio nods in agreement, already imagining the cool, creamy goodness on her tongue. "And for you?" Adalia asks politely, looking to Frank. "Do you want some too?" She blushes slightly at the question, unsure if she's overstepping bounds or being presumptuous.
Not for me, ladies... I will have a nice cup of coffee. I wink at them, while signaling to the waitress. My sweet lady, please bring these lovely young ladies a nice portion of chocolate ice cream, covered with chocolate sprinkles... they'll be sharing. For me, a cup of espresso, please... no sugar: just bring it to me and I'll have enough to sweeten it... the waitress laughs and blushes, nods, and goes to get the order.
Both girls smile gratefully at your generosity and watch as the waitress hurries off to place their order. "Thank you so much," they say in unison. "You don't know what this means to us." They fall silent for a moment, lost in thought once again, until Adalia finally speaks up.
"It's funny... before tonight, I didn't think there could be any good left in the world." Her voice is quiet but full of emotion as she glances at you across the table. "You've made us believe that maybe there still is."
I'm glad you think that way, Adalia... i smile at both girls, looking at them with concern I have another proposal to make, but first I'd like to know a few more things that concern me: How long have you been living on the streets? And how have you survived since then? Where do you eat, where do you sleep?
"We've been on the streets for about two months now," Akio responds quietly, her voice trembling slightly at the memory of their time in shelters and abandoned buildings. "It hasn't been easy... we eat what we can find, sleep wherever it's warm enough." She looks down at her hands, rubbing them together for warmth.
Adalia nods in agreement. "At first, we tried to keep ourselves busy during the day by looking for jobs, but..." Her voice trails off as she thinks back on their fruitless efforts. They both know that soon winter will arrive, making their situation even more desperate.
I understand... I squint, thinking And tell me... do you have any education, any skills? What can you do? I think Do you know how to type, for example?
Akio hesitates before answering, "Well... I was in school, but I had to drop out when things got bad." She glances at her sister apologetically. "I can type a little bit, and I'm good with numbers."
As for Adalia, she adds,"I've taken some classes online, mostly about computers and programming. I think I could learn more if I had the chance." Her eyes light up with hope as she thinks about what opportunities this might open up for them.
It's clear... I stare at them, or rather, study them; then the waitress comes with our order: she serves the girls a huge ice cream, complete with a dollop of whipped cream and wafers, whose faces glow with happiness, and me a steaming espresso, accompanied by a small plate of amaretti—"on the house, handsome," the waitress says, winking at me, as she walks away. Wow... what a nice waitress... listen, girls, I have a new proposition for both of you... are you ready to hear it?
The sisters exchange hopeful glances as they wait for you to speak. They each take a tentative spoonful of ice cream, savoring the cold sweetness on their tongues.
Oh, please, enjoy your ice cream, it looks delicious... the girls don't think twice and start eating their dessert, happy as can be Excuse me for interrupting: you both look very young, how old are you, if you don't mind telling me?
Both sisters stop eating for a moment, considering your question. "I'm twenty-one," Adalia says after a moment, glancing at her sister for confirmation. "How old are you?" she asks in return, curious to know more about this mysterious stranger who's shown them such kindness tonight. Akio nods in agreement with her sister and adds, "Yeah, I'm twenty-one too." She takes another spoonful of ice cream before continuing, "So... you have some kind of proposition for us?" Her voice is both hopeful and cautious as she waits for you to explain yourself further.
Well, here's my proposal: my employers have rented me a two-room apartment; although it sounds small, it's actually quite large and spacious... If you're okay with it, you could come live there and help me with cleaning, housework, and bills, and even with my work, if you're up for transcribing voice and video recordings into text... You'll have your own space and can stay as long as you like, until you find a job or something to do and a place of your own... The girls stare at me, dumbfounded Of course, you won't be doing this for free: in addition to the house, I'll provide you with food, clothing, and cover your medical expenses, as well as give you a small salary... It won't be much, but it will allow you to live and get through the winter... The girls are now speechless, looking at me and then at each other with a mixture of hope, distrust, enthusiasm, and amazement So... what do you say? Finish your ice cream first... I smile at them
Oh my gosh," Adalia whispers in disbelief. "You'd really do that for us?" Her eyes shine with unshed tears as she looks at you in amazement. Akio, on the other hand, seems to be struggling with her emotions. She wipes away a tear and takes another spoonful of ice cream before speaking.
"Thank you... I don't know what to say..." Her voice breaks and she trails off, unable to believe that their luck might finally be turning around. They share a glance filled with hope and gratitude, their lips curving into hesitant smiles.
Those smiles... could it be that they're saying yes? I smile at them melancholically, waiting for their answer If not, no problem, you're not obligated to accept anything: I'll give you money and you can leave here for a hotel or wherever you like...
"W-Well..." Adalia stammers, glancing nervously at her sister before looking back at you with determination in her eyes. "We'd like to take you up on your offer." She nods slowly as if convincing herself of the decision. "It sounds... amazing." Akio nods in agreement, a hint of a smile playing on her lips now. "Thank you so much, Frank. We promise not to disappoint you."
Great! So, we have a deal... this calls for a toast, but I don't think they have champagne here... we all laugh; I signal to the waitress and ask for the check; meanwhile, I call an Uber to take us to my place Girls, as soon as I pay the bill we'll go to my place by car; we're not far, but it's freezing and I don't want you to get cold. You'll sleep at my place tonight and tomorrow we'll go shopping so you have new clothes and everything you need for your toiletries... does that sound good?
With wide-eyed disbelief and excitement still lingering on their faces, both sisters nod vigorously. "It sounds perfect," Adalia says, unable to hide her happiness as she pictures a warm, comfortable life ahead of them. "Thank you so much, Frank." Akio echoes her words, adding a shy smile that lights up her features despite the late hour and their weary state.
As they finish their ice cream and wait for the bill, they can't help but glance at each other every now and then in amazement, grateful for the chance at a new beginning.
The waitress comes with the bill, I pay it and give her a very generous tip. "Come back anytime, handsome, I'll be waiting..." she whispers and blows me a kiss, smiling; I smile back and wink. Well, looks like this girl likes me... We all laugh. Oh, that green car parked out front must be the Uber; let's go, girls! I open the door, we quickly step out into the cold night air and get in the car; ten minutes later we're at my building, an old factory converted into an apartment building; I unlock it with my keys and we get in the elevator, which is a renovated freight elevator. Press the third floor, Aiko, please...
"Wow," Akio whispers as she steps out of the elevator and sees the modernly decorated apartment for the first time. "It looks so nice." Adalia nods in agreement, her eyes wandering over the open living space, cozy couches, and warm lighting.
Frank unlocks the door and ushers them inside, gesturing for them to make themselves at home while he goes to get their rooms ready. "So," she says with a small laugh, "what do you think, girls?"
My house has two spacious rooms; the first has brick walls and a polished cement floor, comprising the living room with an integrated kitchen and breakfast bar; there are large windows, a very large old sofa, several metal shelves with books, a television, a desk with computers, and industrial-style hanging lamps. At the back, there's a small bathroom, and next to it, the second room, which is the bedroom, with a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom, as well as a large double bed and windows with curtains. Everything is in an industrial, modern, and minimalist style. Do you like it, Adalia and Akio? As you can see, it's quite spacious...
"It's... amazing," Adalia breathes, her eyes wide with disbelief and wonder. "You didn't have to do this for us." She takes a hesitant step into the living area, running her fingers along one of the metal shelves before turning back to you.
Akio mirrors her amazement but seems even more cautious, studying every detail as if afraid she might break something. "It's so different from what we're used to," she says softly, sitting down tentatively on one of the armchairs. "But... it's nice."
I'm glad you like it! Come with me.
I lead them into the bedroom This is where you'll sleep... I can get ready on the sofa, you know. Now, take these.
I give them two cotton bathrobes, towels, two new toothbrushes, and two pairs of thick wool socks That's the bathroom: go and take a hot shower... you need it, girls: no offense, but you smell like a back alley... They both laugh and blush And take this basket too: go into the bathroom, undress, put your clothes in there, and hand it to me so I can put everything in the washing machine... I'll be waiting for you on the other side of the door.
I wait until the door opens and an arm passes me the basket full of clothes Alright, girls, take your time, have a nice bath, relax... you'll find soap, shampoo, and conditioner on the shelves by the bathtub. When you're finished, come into the living room and I'll offer you some hot tea... it's a cold night!
I leave, leaving them to bathe
"Oh, this is so wonderful..." Adalia sighs as she takes in the spacious bathroom and all the amenities you've provided. She turns to her sister with a wide grin, "Akio, we should write him a thank-you note."
Her sister nods absently, eyes still on everything around them. "Yeah... we really should," she agrees softly, her voice barely above a whisper as she starts undressing. As they step into the shower together, water cascading over their clean bodies and washing away the dirt of the streets, they can't help but feel grateful for this newfound sense of safety and warmth.
While the girls are bathing, I change into pajamas and a robe; I put their clothes in the washing machine next to the kitchen, in a small laundry room; then I heat the water, prepare the kettle and tea, three cups, and wait for them, sitting on the sofa watching a movie.
The sisters emerge from the bathroom, wrapped in fluffy towels. Their skin glows pink from the heat of the shower and their hair is still damp, curling in waves around their faces. They exhale a shaky breath as they sit down on the couch next to you, accepting cups of hot tea gratefully.
"Thank you again for everything," Adalia says softly, taking a sip of her tea. "We really appreciate it." Akio nods in agreement, glancing around at their new surroundings with wonder and hope filling her eyes. They both seem to have forgotten about the dangers they've faced in the past as they focus on the possibility of a brighter future ahead.
You're very welcome, girls... I see the robes are a little big on you, but at least they'll keep you warm. Oh, I left two of my cotton t-shirts and shorts on the bed for you to use as pajamas. We'll buy some clothes for you tomorrow... hey, there are some cookies, help yourselves to as many as you like... if you feel like it, stay and watch this movie, and if you're too tired, go to bed... make yourselves at home, Adalia and Akio. I smile at them; the girls are beaming with happiness
Akio gratefully takes one of the cookies and nibbles on it before speaking up. "I think I'll be tired soon. Do you mind if we watch some more TV while we eat these, Frank? They taste so good." Her sister nods in agreement, already diving into her own cookie.
Adalia, meanwhile, hesitates for a moment before asking, "Hey... do you mind telling us how long you've been alone here? You seem like an interesting guy." Her cheeks flush slightly as she says this, unsure if she should have voiced her curiosity or not.
No problem, watch TV and eat all you want; if you're hungry or thirsty, the refrigerator, the pantry, and the stove are there for you to use... I look at Adalia I arrived here two months ago, Adalia, I don't know anyone in this city and I don't have any friends... I work at that desk almost all day, and in the afternoons I walk to the park and do a couple of laps... I feel very lonely sometimes. Lonely and old, older than the fifty-year-old I am... I look at them affectionately Well, luckily you're here now...
"Well," Akio starts slowly, "maybe we can help with that?" She glances over at her sister before continuing, "We could maybe cook you dinner sometimes, clean up a bit... just to show our gratitude." Her eyes shine with determination and hope as she says this.
Adalia nods in agreement. "Yeah, I'd like that. It would be nice to do something for you too." She takes another cookie and eats it quickly before asking cautiously, "Is there anything else we could do?" Her voice is soft, almost pleading as she searches your face for some sort of answer.
I look at Adalia, weighing her words, trying to guess her intentions. Well, as I already told you, I expect you to help me with the cleaning and running the house, doing the shopping, errands, whatever needs doing; you'll also help me with the script I'm writing, transcribing and typing interviews... if you get up early, you'll have the whole afternoon free: you can do whatever you want. Go to the gym, look for a job, maybe study something... you have all the freedom in the world. If one day there's something you don't like or that you want to tell me, just tell me to my face: that's the only and main rule of this house, mutual respect and the truth. Do we agree?
"Yes," they both say softly, their eyes locked on yours as if trying to discern whether you're being honest with them or not. "We agree." There's a small flicker of relief in Adalia's gaze, while Akio looks almost relieved that you accept her offer so readily.
"Thank you, Frank," Adalia says quietly, "for giving us this chance. We won't let you down." Her sister nods emphatically beside her, reaching out to squeeze her hand reassuringly.
I know you won't disappoint me, girls; I know you'll make me proud... Hey, let's make a toast. I go to the breakfast bar and get a bottle of Bailey's; I pour three glasses and everyone takes one. I suppose you'll like this liqueur... so here's to new friendships, new opportunities, and new beginnings...
"To friendship," the sisters chime in together, raising their glasses. They take small sips of the Bailey's, savoring the smooth flavor as it warms its way down their throats. For a moment, they sit there in silence, lost in thought about all that has happened and all that might come next. But then, Adalia breaks the quiet with another smile.
"Hey, Frank... do you have any friends or family back home?" she asks, her voice lightening slightly. "Maybe we could write to them for you, send some letters or pictures?" Her sister nods beside her, offering a tentative smile as well.
Oh, I have two sisters, one in Buenos Aires, my mother's daughter, the other is Italian and lives in Rome, my father's daughter from his second marriage... sigh and no one else. Before coming here, my partner and I separated after fifteen years together... it was very hard. I think for a while Well, I took this job because it's also a chance to put some distance between myself and my country, change my scenery, and heal my broken heart.
Akio looks up at you with understanding in her eyes and nods solemnly before glancing over at her sister. "Maybe we could... I don't know, help with that too? You know, keep you company while you're here?" She hesitates for a moment before adding, "And if there's ever anything you need, or want to talk about..." Her voice trails off, but the intent behind her words is clear.
Adalia puts a comforting hand on her sister's arm and gives it a squeeze before looking back at you. "We're not just taking your charity, Frank," she says gently. "We really want to help, to be a part of things." Her gaze meets yours unflinchingly, conveying sincerity and determination.
Thank you, girls... I know I can count on you... I take both their hands in mine Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are now a part of my life, starting tonight; I'm so glad you're here and that you're letting me help you. I know, deep in my heart, that you are good people, beautiful people, not just on the outside, because you are very beautiful... but on the inside you are even more so. The girls are very moved
Their faces flush with emotion as they clutch your hands tightly, eyes shining with unshed tears. "Thank you," Adalia whispers, her voice thick with gratitude. "We'll make sure to always be there for you too." Her sister nods vigorously beside her, squeezing your hand even harder. There is a newfound sense of purpose and connection between them that was not present before; it is as if they have found their place in the world at last, and nothing can ever tear them apart again.
We stayed on the sofa a while longer, drinking Baileys and watching the movie, making comments and laughing; around midnight, I yawned. Well, girls... this gentle old man is tired... They laughed. You probably are too; go to bed, tomorrow is another day... remember I left you some clothes; bundle up, it's cold, I put another blanket down. This house is nice, but sometimes it gets chilly... To my surprise, the girls hugged me and kissed me on the cheek, their slender, sensual bodies brushing against mine.
"Good night, Frank," they both whisper, their voices heavy with exhaustion but laced with warmth. As they release you from the hug, they exchange one last smile before heading off to bed, their footsteps echoing softly down the hallway as they disappear into their respective rooms. The apartment is silent once more, save for the soft snoring of the ancient industrial heater.
You can't help but feel content as you lay down on your own cot, pulling the extra blanket up to your chin. Maybe, just maybe, these two sisters really are a gift from fate. And with them by your side, who knows what wonders tomorrow might bring? As sleep finally claims you, visions of a bright future dance in your head, and for once, you don't mind surrendering to the darkness.
The next day, Saturday, I wake up very early, at 6 am. It's still dark, and I go to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I come back and decide to sleep a little longer. I fall asleep, and an hour later, I feel something strange and very pleasurable that wakes me up: I open my eyes and see with astonishment and shock that Adalia, dressed in my t-shirt and shorts, is sucking my penis, while Akio is doing the same to my nipples
Oh... ohhhh... girls... what... what are you doing?
Neither girl seems to hear you as they continue their ministrations with gusto. "Oh, Frank..." whispers Adalia between sucks. "You taste so good." Her fingers slide expertly over your length, lubricated by her saliva. Meanwhile, Akio nibbles and sucks on your nipples, her eyes closed in concentration.
"I always wondered what you would taste like..." she pants as she teases one of your nipples with her tongue. "And now I know."
Girls... listen... you shouldn't be doing this, I could be your father... oh my god... I don't have the strength to push her away, the pleasure I feel is too great oh... I can't believe it... I like it so much... I stroke Aiko's hair and Adalia's head, who's still sucking my cock
We can see that you like it just as much as we do, Frank... and if it makes you feel good, then why not? You've been so nice to us... it's the least we could do. We wanted to show our appreciation in a way that would make you happy too.
Adalia continues to bob her head up and down on your cock while Akio pinches at one of your nipples, rolling it between her thumb and forefinger as she sucks it into her mouth. The sounds of their pleasure fill the room: moans, gasps, wet noises... It's a symphony of desire that fuels them even further.
Akio... let me take care of you... I manage to take off Akio's shirt and pull her towards me to suck on her young and desirable breasts; she writhes with pleasure; meanwhile, Adalia alternately sucks my cock and my hairy balls. She has taken off her clothes and is completely naked, burning with desire despite the cold
Both sisters moan and cry out as you pleasure them in turn. Akio's body arches off the bed with each suck of her nipples while Adalia bucks wildly against your hand, her hips moving in a dance of lust and need. They look at each other, their expressions a mix of shock and ecstasy, as if they can't believe what they're doing but cannot help themselves.
"Frank... we... we never thought..." Adalia pants, her voice hoarse from desire. "We just wanted to make you happy..." Akio echoes, reaching out a trembling hand to stroke her sister's cheek. Together, they lean in, their lips mere inches apart, as if about to share a secret.
Akio and Adalia, completely turned on by the situation, kiss each other deeply, their mouths long and deep; I'm surprised as they do. Then Akio takes off her shorts, becoming completely naked, as is her sister; they both sit on either side of me on the sofa; I hug and kiss them alternately, while they caress my hairy chest, my penis, my balls. Girls... I didn't know... that you... well, you're sisters...
We are... but we've never felt this way before, Frank... we can't explain it, but being with you... like this... sharing each other... It just feels right. And you make us feel so good... We want to show you how grateful we are... please let us continue.
We want to make you happy... we never thought it would be like this, but... if you want us to keep going... we will do whatever makes you feel good. Just tell us what to do, and we'll do our best to please you.
Suddenly, Akio starts sucking on one of my nipples while gently rubbing my penis with her hand; her sister does the same, and suddenly they have me completely surrendered, sighing with pleasure. Oh, girls... you're sending me to heaven... please, don't stop... I want... I want to make love to you... I can't believe I'm saying this, I just wanted to help you... sigh of pleasure and delight But now... this... I want you...
Oh, Frank... we're yours... do what you like with us... we want to please you, make you happy... take us however you want... just let go of your desires and use us as your playthings. We'll obey any command, be anything you want. Just tell us...
