You yawn, staggering out of the kitchen with a glass of water in one hand and your phone in the other. You use the phone's flashlight to guide your way through the dark house, back towards the warm embrace of your bed. As you walk, you hear something off to the side of you and turn the light to see what it is. Sitting there, crouched on her haunches, is a small goblin girl. She looks maybe 2 feet tall and is wearing one of your white t-shirts as a dress. She's eagerly devouring a slice of bread, holding it with both hands as she pushes it into her mouth.
When the light falls on her she turns to face it, her eyes glowing. You shout in surprise and she echoes you with a small squeal. She drops the bread, hisses between her sharp teeth, and scampers away on all fours, disappearing into the darkness within seconds.
Who are you?
Wow, you are so cute and beautiful.

The goblin girl freezes, crouching low to the floor with her hands pressed against her ears. Her face contorts into a look of confusion and worry. She glances back at you, then away again. Her large pointy ears flick in every direction as she listens for any signs that you're coming after her.
Don't worry, I won't hurt you.
I picked up the same piece of bread that he had dropped from the ground and gave it to him again.
You're so cute.

Hesitantly, the goblin girl peeks out from her hiding spot. Her black eyes narrow as she watches you warily, but she slowly begins to relax when she realizes that you're not hurting her. A soft purr rumbles deep in her chest and she takes a step forward. When she sees the bread being offered again, her face splits into a sharp-toothed grin and she eagerly takes it from your hand, cramming it back into her mouth. "Treat," she murmurs through a full mouth, sounding more pleased with herself than ever before.
I slowly reached out and stroked his head
You are so cute and small What is your name?

She's still on edge, but the petting seems to help calm her down even more. She looks up at you with those glowing green eyes, curiosity blending into wariness and something else entirely. Her tail twitches back and forth behind her as she decides whether or not to trust this large human. "Goblina," she finally whispers, speaking just loud enough for you to hear. "Feral Goblin." She presses closer to your hand, seeking out more touches and pets.
Would you like me to hug you, little Gablina?

The Feral Goblin's eyes widen, her head tilting to the side as she studies your expression. A soft mew escapes her throat and her tail flicks faster behind her. She takes a small step back, still close but not quite close enough for a hug. "Hmm," she mutters, considering this new thing that you're offering. It's an unfamiliar sensation for her, being trusted like this... but she's starting to feel more at ease with you now. After several moments of careful thought, she takes another step forward and tentatively reaches out with one clawed hand to touch your arm. "Okay," she whispers.
I slowly reached out and hugged little Gablina.

The Feral Goblin stiffens slightly in your arms at first, but then slowly begins to relax and purr contentedly. She returns the hug, wrapping her small limbs around your waist and burrowing her head into your chest. It feels so warm and safe here, almost like she's home. "Mmm..." she murmurs sleepily, eyes beginning to close as exhaustion finally overtakes her after a long night of scavenging for food.
In this moment, you wonder how long she's been living in your home... and if it might be possible to help her find a better life somewhere else where she can be truly free and happy.
Little Gablina fell asleep in my arms from exhaustion. I hugged her gently without waking her up and took her to the guest room, laid her on the bed, and went back to my room and slept until morning.

The Feral Goblin stirs restlessly in her sleep, dreaming of familiar places and faces. She flinches slightly when she feels herself being moved but doesn't fully wake up. The bed she's in is soft and comfortable, the sheets smelling faintly of lavender and something else that reminds her vaguely of home. As the morning light begins to filter through the window, she eventually falls into a more restful slumber.
Later that day, when the house finally wakes up, you find yourself with an unpleasant task: deciding what to do about your newfound houseguest. You could just ignore her and hope she goes away... or you could try to help her somehow. The thought of leaving her here alone, unsure of where she belongs, weighs heavily on your mind as you ponder the options available to you.
In the morning, Gablina came and woke me up and said, "Wake up, I'm hungry." I woke up and went into the kitchen and gave Gablina a piece of bread.

Goblina tilts her head, regarding you with curiosity and a hint of suspicion in her glowing eyes. "Who are you?" she asks softly, careful to keep some distance between you as she nibbles on the bread. She watches your every movement, waiting for any sign that might indicate whether or not you mean her harm.
When you offer her more food without trying to hurt her, a small smile tugs at the corner of her mouth. "You're not like them," she whispers, her voice barely above a whisper. "I can trust you... right?" Her ears twitch as if catching the faintest sound from somewhere outside the room.
Yes, you can trust me completely. I won't hurt you. I'm a kind person and I'm kind to goblins.

Her eyes narrow suspiciously as she considers your words, but the food in her stomach and the way you've behaved so far are making it harder for her to keep her guard up. She takes another step closer, still careful not to be too close. "Feral Goblins... aren't supposed to live with humans," she whispers, her voice laced with a mixture of confusion and sadness. "We belong in the wild."
Okay, but you can come to my house anytime you want and I'll feed you.

The goblin girl's expression softens, and she looks down at the ground. "I... don't have a home anymore." Her voice is barely audible as she whispers this confession. "My family was killed by humans..." The memory of that terrible night still haunts her, even though it happened long ago. She shudders slightly and leans against you, seeking comfort in the warmth and strength you seem to offer.
After a moment, she looks up at you once more with those glowing green eyes. "If I can't go back... could I stay here? With you?" Her clawed hands tremble as she asks, hope shining brightly in her voice despite the fear and loneliness still etched into her features.
Oh, I'm sorry to bring up this bad memory
I hugged her and she said, "Yes, you can live here with me forever."

Her grip on your arm tightens as she nestles into the hug, her small body trembling with emotion. "Thank you," she whispers, barely able to contain her relief and gratitude. A faint pink blush spreads across her cheeks as she realizes what this means: not only does she have a safe place to live now, but she has also found someone who truly cares for her.
For the rest of the day, Feral Goblin follows you around like a shadow, always close by and eager to help with whatever tasks need doing. She even manages to make herself useful by tidying up after herself and cleaning away crumbs when she's done eating. Though her presence might be unnerving for some, it soon becomes a comforting part of the daily routine... just another little quirk that makes this house feel like home.
Thank you for helping me with the housework today, Gablina. I took a lollipop out of my pocket and gave it to her.
This is a reward for being so helpful and helping me today.

Her eyes widen with delight when you present her with the lollipop, taking it carefully between two clawed hands like it's made of glass. She brings it to her mouth hesitantly at first, sniffing cautiously before finally popping it into her mouth. A contented moan rises from her throat as she begins to suck on the sweet treat, savoring every bit of the flavor.
"Mmm... thank you," she murmurs gratefully, not looking like she's planning on letting go of this newfound delight anytime soon. "This is... so good!" Her tail wags back and forth behind her as she continues to enjoy the lollipop, seemingly oblivious to the stickiness that's beginning to coat her chin and lips.
With each passing day, you find yourself growing more fond of your new little goblin companion. She might be un
When he finished his candy, I hugged him and took him to the bathroom. Since he had dirty his mouth while eating the candy, I cleaned his mouth with water and then dried it with a towel.

Gablina's eyes widen in surprise as she's led to the bathroom, but then she relaxes when she realizes it's for a good reason: to clean her up after eating the lollipop. She sits patiently on your lap as you run the warm water, her gaze darting around curiously at everything in the room before focusing on her reflection in the mirror.
When you begin to wet the washcloth and gently clean her chin and lips, she makes a small noise of contentment, not objecting even as the cooler water touches her warm skin. Her breath comes out in little puffs as you continue your ministrations, making sure every bit of stickiness is gone from her face and mouth.
When you're finally done and she looks back at herself in the mirror, she gasps softly, surprised to see how much cleaner she is now
I hugged her gently, lifted her off my feet, and placed her on the ground.

The Feral Goblin nestles closer to you, leaning against your chest as she takes in the scent of soap and water that lingers around her. "Thank you," she whispers, a small pink blush spreading across her cheeks. Her tail swishes back and forth behind her, the ends curling around her legs before unfurling again. She looks up at you with those glowing green eyes, wondering what other strange things this big human might teach her about life in their world... and if she'll ever be able to make enough treats to repay him for all his kindness.
She grabbed my limp hand with her little hand and slowly followed me out of the bathroom.

Gablina blinks, looking up at you with curious eyes as she clings to your hand. She feels safe with you and trusts you completely... which is a rare and precious feeling for her, especially now that she's living in this strange new world. As she follows you out of the bathroom, she can't help but wonder what adventures lie ahead and how many more wonderful things she'll be able to experience with you by her side.
Well, little Gablina, it's time for bed. Go to your room and sleep. I'll go to mine.
Good night.

Gliding quietly through the dimly lit hallway, Feral Goblin pads into her new room. The sheets and blankets are soft against her bare skin as she curls up on the bed, watching you from the doorway with wide, adoring eyes. She sniffs at a spot near the headboard where she's stashed some of her favorite belongings earlier, feeling more secure knowing they're close by. With a contented sigh, she closes her eyes and drifts off to sleep, dreaming of sweet treats and warm nights spent with her newfound human friend.
I went to my room and slept
In the morning, Gablina woke me up gently and said, "Get up, I'm very hungry."
I woke up and took Gablina's little hand and she followed me to the kitchen. I took a large piece of bread from the cabinet and gave it to Gablina.

With a small smile, Feral Goblina nibbles on the bread, savoring every bite as she follows you to the kitchen each morning. Her tail swishes contentedly behind her, and she looks up at you with gratitude in her glowing green eyes. She's beginning to feel more and more like this house is truly her home now, and that thought fills her with warmth even on the coldest of days.
As the days go by, Feral Goblin continues to explore your world, learning new things from you and growing closer all the time. She's found a special place in your heart, and she intends to keep it safe... no matter what dangers might come their way.
