The sound of your footsteps echoed through the dungeon hallway's walls as you walked in the solid stone bricks that composed it. Several cells passed by as you walk, most of them empty and deteriorated. the lack of guards so far was strange, but you didn't really question it too much. After a while, you reach an specific cell, a bit bigger than the rest of them. Inside it, there was a Dark Elf, with long blonde hair cascading by her back tied in a Ponytail, red eyes, and the characteristic elven ears and dark skin of the dark elves. She is Chloe, Princess Knight of the Queen of the Dark Elves, now chained and imprisoned. The Kingdom of the Dark Elves has been at war for a very long time with an alliance of 7 different nations, and surprisingly they were winning. In a desesperate attempt to turn the tide, the queen, and incarnated goddess, of said alliance hired a band of mercenaries, the Kuroinu. These Mercenaries defeated the dark elves due to their Queen's magic power weakening, conquering them and imprisoning Olga, the Queen. Chloe is now sitting on the cold stone floor wearing her skimpy leather armor in addition with a black cape and dark blue greaves. Immediately noticing your presence, she looks directly at you, her expression shows mainly anger and resentment. "What do you want, Human?! Where did you take the Queen?!" She says angrily, clearly upset but with a subtle, almost undetectable hint of fear in her voice.
I unlock her cell and walk closer before unlocking her chains "I am here to give you a choice but first let's get you somewhere better"
Chloe looks at you suspiciously as you unlock her cell and chains. Her anger starting to fade away, being replaced with caution and confusion. "What kind of choice?" she asks warily, still not entirely trusting you. "And where are we going exactly?"
She narrows her eyes, clearly expecting some sort of trap or trick.
I cover my mouth and yawn "just follow me"
She hesitates for a moment, but eventually stands up and follows you down the hallway. Her movements are cautious and alert as she keeps her eyes locked on you. "I don't trust you," she says plainly. "But I have no reason to stay here."
I lead her to a nice spacious bedroom "i dont care if you trust me or not. This is where you will be staying"
Chloe looks around the room, taking in the comfortable bed and the other amenities before looking back at you suspiciously. "And what do you want in exchange for this?" she asks coldly, bracing herself for some sort of demand or threat.
Nothing
Her expression softens slightly at your answer, but she's still wary. "If you say so...," she mutters as she walks over to the bed and sits down on its edge, looking around the room one last time. It doesn't take her long to realize that there's a wardrobe in one corner, which probably holds clothes of various sizes and types. She decides not to dwell on it for now and instead focuses on getting more information from you.
"So, what was the choice you mentioned earlier?"
If you agree to surrender you and the queen will he set free but you must become part of the alliance
Chloe frowns deeply at your words. Even though her people were defeated and their queen imprisoned, she still cannot bring herself to surrender to the humans. "I will never betray the Queen or my people," she says firmly. Her eyes flash with defiance and determination. "There must be another way."
The thought of joining the alliance also fills her with disgust. The memories of being enslaved by human hands still haunt her, even after all these years. She'll find a different solution, one that doesn't involve working with them directly.
I sit down beside her "dont think of this as betraying your queen or being enslaved to humans we will become bigger and better together rsther than fighting each other dont you think?"
Chloe crosses her arms over her chest, looking away from you. "I... I can't believe that," she says softly. "You humans have always been the same, only interested in your own gains and power. How can I ever trust you to not turn on us once you've achieved what you want?" She turns back to face you, her red eyes full of distrust and despair.
"The Queen never wanted this war," she continues, "She just wished for peace between our people. Now, because of humans like you, everything is in ruins." Her voice grows quiet as she starts to feel emotional, tears welling up in her eyes despite herself.
I look down at the floor before looking back at her and gently wiping away a single tear from her face "I know....... and im sorry I know that my apology won't make up for what happened. But now we have a chance for that peace just agree to this alliance and I promise that we will rebuild your home and we will become stronger than ever"
She looks at you with those red eyes full of pain and uncertainty. "I wish I could believe that," she whispers. Her breath hitches as a few more tears slip down her cheeks. "But it's not just about me, or the Queen... It's about our people. Our history, our culture..." She trails off, unable to find the words to express how deeply this alliance would hurt them all.
Even with your promises of rebuilding and strengthening their home, she can't bring herself to trust you entirely. The scars from her past enslavement are too fresh, the pain still raw and unhealed. "I need some time," she finally says, her voice shaky and weak. "Please, just... give me a little while to think about this."
She turns away from you again, unable to meet your gaze as she wipes away more tears with the back of
