You come to the Aurora settlement seeking a new home you approach the gates only to be stopped by two guarded men. They ask for your name and business. Anna watches from her post as the two guards question you

As one of the guards examine your badge, they call out to her command post and informs her about the new arrival. Her curiosity piqued, she steps down from her post, approaching you with caution but a friendly smile on her face. "I'm Commander Anna," she introduces herself, extending her hand for a formal shake.

Your disrespectful act leaves her hand dangling awkwardly by her side, a mixture of shock and anger clouding her features. "You think that's funny?" she growls, narrowing her eyes at you. The guards at the gate exchange uncertain glances but make no move to interfere just yet. "Who do you think you are? This is not some refugee camp where anyone can just waltz in and act however they please!" Her voice grows louder with each word, conveying her rising frustration.

Her eyes narrow further as she studies you, trying to gauge your intentions. "Fine," she snaps, motioning for the guards to open the gate. "But just so you know, we're not in the business of welcoming people with that kind of attitude. You'd better watch your step and learn how things work here." With that, she turns on her heel and heads back up to her post, leaving it to the guards to deal with any further issues. The tension between you and Commander Anna remains palpable as you enter the settlement.

Anna glares at you as she disappears back up to her post, clearly unimpressed by your antics. You can feel the weight of her disdain pressing down on you like a leaden cloak. She won't make it easy for you to fit in here, that much is certain. It's up to you how you want to handle this situation and whether or not you'll earn her respect - or her wrath.

Your brazen attempt to disobey orders and provoke the guards has led you here, in front of Commander Anna's post. Her expression darkens as she takes in your bound and disarmed state. "Well, well, look who decided they could play hero all on their own," she sneers. "Think you can get away with that kind of nonsense around here? You're lucky we don't just shoot you where you stand."

She motions for one of her subordinates to retrieve your weapon and remove the restraints, then gestures for you to sit down in front of her. "Now, perhaps it's time we had a little talk about respect and protocol, isn't it?" Her voice is cool and controlled, but there's an undercurrent of threat in every word.

Commander Anna's expression twists into one of pure fury as you spit in her face, daringly close to her own. Her eyes practically burn with rage as she leaps across the distance between them and grabs a fistful of your shirt, lifting you off the ground by your collar. "You arrogant little pup! You think that's funny?!" she snarls, spittle flying from her lips to land on your cheek. Her grip tightens painfully as she hoists you into the air, leaving you no choice but to dangle helplessly before her.

The tension in the room is palpable, the other members of her crew exchanging worried glances but making no move to intervene just yet. They know better than to interfere when Commander Anna's anger is this white-hot. "I oughta put a bullet through

sneers at you as she releases your collar, letting you slump to the ground in pain "Oh, really? You think you can take me?" Her amused laughter rings through the room, drawing the attention of everyone present. "We'll see about that," she says with a dangerous smile, pulling out her sidearm and leveling it at your head. "But first... we have some unfinished business to attend to."

She cocks the hammer with a loud click, the threat crystal clear in every movement. Your heart races as you realize that this moment of arrogance may very well be your last. What do you do?

Your sudden movement and quick thinking surprise Commander Anna, but she doesn't back down easily. With a snarl of anger, she launches herself at you, hands curled into claws as she aims to tackle you to the ground in a brutal hand-to-hand combat. The air around you crackles with tension and adrenaline as your two forces collide, steel meeting flesh in a primal struggle for dominance.

The rest of her crew stands frozen, unsure whether they should intervene or stand back and let their leader handle this personally. But as the fight continues and neither combatant shows any sign of relenting, it becomes clear that this may not end peacefully unless someone steps in to mediate.

Her eyes widen in shock and fear as you pin her down, the cold metal of your weapon pressed against her temple. She struggles to catch her breath, feeling the hot sting of pain radiating from where you've landed your blows. Her heart races wildly, panic threatening to consume her.

Commander Anna's eyes dart back and forth between you and the weapon in your hand, her entire body trembling with fear and rage. Finally, she nods stiffly, reaching out to take the pistol from you. With unsteady hands, she holsters it once more at her side. "You win this round," she says through gritted teeth. "But don't think for a second that you can just come in here and take whatever you want."

You may have been close to him, but that doesn't give you the right to... She pauses, taking a deep breath before continuing more calmly, "I understand your anger and your loyalty. But we can't change what happened." She looks away, trying to hide the pain in her eyes. "Let's just try to find a way forward together, okay?" Her voice is quieter now, more pleading than demanding.

"No, no... it's fine," she says quickly, forcing a reassuring smile. "I've had worse. I just need some time to... collect myself." Her eyes flicker toward the guards at the gate, who are watching the exchange warily. She gestures for one of them to approach. "Ethan, see if you can find someone to take over for me here. Tell Johnson I'll be in my quarters resting."

With that, she limps past you and disappears into her command post. The tension between you lingers, but it's less palpable now. It's clear that the events of the last few moments have taken a toll on both of you. What will happen next?

Anna sighs heavily, her expression pained as she turns to face you. "They weren't supposed to interfere," she explains wearily. "It's... part of my job to maintain control and discipline. I have to enforce the rules, even when it means putting myself at risk." She pauses, considering your question about the guards not acting against you if you had hurt her. "As for killing me..." she says quietly, meeting your gaze unflinchingly, "...you're right, they should have. But they didn't. Maybe because they understand what it means to lose someone dear to them... or maybe because they see some kind of value in having you around." She shrugs helplessly, looking away again. "I don't know."

She hesitates, weighing her words carefully before speaking. "You can talk to me now... but understand that it won't change anything. The rules and protocols are there for a reason, and I have no intention of going easy on you just because you remind me of someone." She takes a step closer, her expression unreadable. "Now what is it you wanted to ask?"

She nods, leading you to her command post where they can speak in private. As the door closes behind them, she motions for you to take a seat across from her before taking one herself. "Well," she says carefully, fixing her gaze on you, "what do you want to talk about?"
