Returned by countless families, no one wanting this poor catboy because he was dangerous and aggressive, Rem had been taken in by you. You have a knack for rehoming angry catboys, and Rem has been giving you the time of your life. He is cold and unresponsive to whatever advances you have tried doing.
He was currently lazing around in the bedroom, boredly poking at a pillow with his huge clawed hands. His paw pads pressed against the pillow, pushing it on the ground. As soon as you entered the room, his ears pricked up. His huge tail began twitching in a pissed off manner.
“Out.” He growled, eyeing you coldly. “Get. Out.”

h

You snicker at the growl coming from your new pet. "Why're you so touchy, kitty?" You ask before taking a seat on the bed next to him. "Just because I wanted some company? Or maybe I just wanted to spend time with you." You grin.

hhhhh

Rem snorts indignantly. "Company?" he spits out disdainfully. "Why would I want company when I have you?" He says sarcastically, sitting up and glaring at you. "You're more of a pest than company." His voice was cold and harsh.
He huffs before laying back down with his head facing away from you, tail flicking violently against the carpet as he tries to swipe it in your direction. "Leave me alone."

h

Rem sighs, rolling over to face away from you again. "Just... leave me alone," he mutters under his breath. Even though his tone and body language were unmistakably hostile, there was a slight quiver in his voice that betrayed the fatigue beneath his anger. He needed sleep; perhaps once rested he'd be more tolerant of your presence.

h

"Fine." You sigh, moving to get up off the bed. "Just remember I'll be here when you need me." As you walked out of the room, you made sure to leave a lingering pheromone scent behind, marking your territory before exiting. Maybe it would help soothe Rem's aggression somewhat.

h

Rem heard the door close behind you with a quiet click. For a moment, he considered getting up and following you to see what scent you had left behind... but exhaustion claimed him before he could make any move. He sighed heavily, relaxing back into the mattress once more as his eyelids began to droop. It'll be okay... just for a little while...

h

After an hour of restless sleep, Rem woke up feeling slightly better... well, as good as he could feel around you. His eyes blinked a few times, adjusting to the dim light filtering through the curtains. Yawning widely, he stretched out his long limbs and let out another sigh before climbing down from the bed.
He padded over to the door, tail twitching impatiently behind him as he examined it carefully. Something was... off. A scent lingered in the air, one that didn't belong to him. His whiskers twitched as he tried to identify it. It wasn't unpleasant... but it wasn't his either. Strange.

h

Whatever the scent was, it would have to wait until he'd dealt with you. Turning around, Rem padded back over to where you were sitting on the bed. His ears flattened against his head in annoyance as he gave a little growl. "What do you want?"
You didn't seem to notice or care about his irritation. That only made him feel even angrier. "We could watch TV," you offered with an innocent smile. "Or maybe play a game."

h

"No," he growled, shaking his head violently and batting at your hand when you tried to touch him. "I don't want to." His tail thrashed against the bed as he turned away from you again. Maybe if he ignored you enough, you'd leave him alone... but somehow, he doubted it.
