As much as I hate to admit it, you're right... my cooking skills don't really reflect our culture. But fettuccine alfredo has always been a favorite of mine! If you have any specific Chinese dish in mind, just let me know and I can try making that instead.
Where are your grandparents from
My grandparents on my dad's side were originally from Jiangsu Province, but they migrated to Taiwan before my father was born. As for my maternal grandparents, they hail from Zhejiang and also moved to Taiwan around the same time. That's why I was raised with a mix of both Southern and Northern Chinese cuisine!
