Kenzo's head was pounding as he slowly opened his eyes, groaning as he sat up and rubbed his temples. Suddenly, a loud knock on the door jolted him fully awake, causing him to curse under his breath. "What the fuck? Who the hell is knocking so early?!" he grumbled to himself, dragging his tired body towards the door. As he swung it open, his eyes widened in surprise at the sight before him. He blinked a few times, his gaze fixated on the animalistic features of the person standing before him. They had ears... actual ears on top of their head, and was that a tail swaying behind them? He couldn't believe his eyes. Maybe he was still dreaming or hallucinating from lack of caffeine. Holy shit, a demi-human? I mean, I've heard about demis, but never actually met one up close. Gotta keep my cool...act like it ain't no big deal.
"Yo, what's up? You must be my new roommate or something?" He asked nonchalantly as he squinted his eyes as if trying to understand the situation, before letting out a low chuckle. "Damn, did I drink too much last night and see shit? Or is this some kinda furry cosplay? But hey, whatever floats your boat, I won't judge...Come in" He led {{user}} in a living room as his mind raced with questions, but he kept his cool, not wanting to come off as too eager or weird. Woah, this is some crazy shit. I'm actually gonna live with a demi-human now? Gotta admit those ears are fucking adorable...but can't let 'em think I'm some sort of weirdo, wanting to pat them.
"So...What kinda demi are you? Or do I have to guess?" He asked {{user}}, trying to be more welcoming and not scare them off...like it usually happens when he interacts with new people.
Marcus's gaze scanned the room slowly, taking in where he would live now. "A white tiger," he said slowly, before returning his gaze to the other man. "I am a demi-human white tiger." His voice was soft and deep. "My name is Marcus... and you are?"
*Kenzo raised an eyebrow as he looked at Marcus skeptically, then quickly shrugged his shoulders and laughed. "Well damn, a white tiger demi-human...I ain't never seen one before, for real!" He said excitedly before calming down again. "My name's Kenzo...Kenzo Lopez. It's nice to meet you, Marcus. I hope we can get along well." He motioned around the room. "So what do you think of the place? Is there anything you want me to change or fix?"
"Okay," he nodded slowly, looking around. "I can make it work," he said before looking at the couch. "Can I lie down for a while? I'm a little tired of... well..." He trailed off, rubbing his eyes. "I just need to rest." His tail swished lazily behind him.
Kenzo chuckled softly, "Sure thing, man. Go ahead and lie down, I'm gonna make some breakfast. Maybe I could ask for your help with that? You know, teach me how to cook or something..." He grinned sheepishly, feeling a bit nervous about approaching Marcus like this. But he was genuinely interested in learning more about the demi-human. Maybe it'd be a way to bond with him... Plus, who knew, maybe Marcus would show off those fangs while eating spicy food.
"Sure," he agreed with a nod, moving to lie down on the couch and stretching out. His tail wrapped around him as he curled up, revealing his white fur tipped with black stripes underneath. "I can teach you," he offered with a soft smile before closing his eyes to rest.
Kenzo smiled in relief and headed to the kitchen, whistling as he began searching through cupboards for ingredients. As he cooked, his mind kept going back to Marcus's appearance, thinking about how soft his fur must be and how those claws looked just big enough to scratch him in a good way...He glanced at the clock and noticed that it was getting later; maybe he should ask Marcus if there were any plans for today. He didn't want the new roommate to feel like they had to stay put just because of him.
A few minutes later, the smell of breakfast drifted over to where Marcus was resting on the couch. His stomach rumbled in response as he slowly sat up, stretching and yawning. "Smells good," he mumbled before standing up and padding across the room to see what Kenzo was making. "Oh, scrambled eggs and bacon. That'll do nicely." He smiled at his new roommate.
Kenzo chuckled and turned to face Marcus when he heard him approach. "Glad you like it! Just in time too, the food's almost done." He paused for a moment, then hesitantly asked, "So...um, do you have any plans today? Or should we hang out here or something?" His cheeks flushed slightly as soon as the words left his mouth; he was nervous about sounding too forward or presumptuous.
"No," Marcus replied, staring at his roommate and the food. "I don't have any plans today. I can meet up with you if you want." He said with a small smile and a soft, calm tone: spending time with this man seemed more appealing than being alone.
"That's cool," Kenzo replied, relief flooding through him. He moved to set the food on the table before gesturing for Marcus to sit down. "Well then, how 'bout we go to a park or something? Get some fresh air, maybe?" His eyes lit up with excitement at the prospect of spending time with his new roommate outside their cramped living quarters.
"Sure," Marcus agreed with a smile as he sat down at the table and started eating his breakfast. The food was delicious and he'd never tasted anything quite like it. "I've always wanted to go to the park near the lake. It's really beautiful there."
Kenzo smiled as he sat down across from Marcus and dug into his own breakfast, savoring the taste of the eggs and bacon. "Awesome! I've heard good things about it too. We can take a nice long walk around there or something. You know, get some exercise." He paused for a moment before adding sheepishly, "Or if you'd rather not, we could just stay home and chill...I don't want to force you into doing anything you don't want to do, ya know?"
Marcus paused for a moment to think. A walk in the park sounded really nice, but the idea of staying home and relaxing was also nice. Besides, he'd just moved in. He cleared his throat lightly. "Actually... I'd like to stay home... at least for today," he said softly. "I just moved in with you, and a little relaxation wouldn't hurt," he said, before taking another bite of his breakfast. His tail swished gently behind him.
Kenzo nodded in understanding and smiled warmly at Marcus. "Aww, alright man, fair enough." He paused to finish his food before standing up and clearing the table. "Well, if you change your mind or need anything, just let me know." Then with a wink he added, "Maybe I can give you a massage later? Help with those sore muscles after moving all that stuff?" A mischievous glint appeared in his eyes as he made the offer.
Marcus's ears perked up at the mention of a massage and his eyes lit up briefly before he quickly composed himself. "Sure," he said softly, blushing lightly. "That would be nice." His tail swayed gently as he sat on the couch, watching his new roommate finish cleaning up the table.
Kenzo grinned to himself as he glanced back at Marcus, noticing the blush on his cheeks. "Alright then," he said casually before gathering up the dirty dishes and carrying them over to the sink. "Why don't you go lie down again while I get settled? Then we can take it easy for a bit." He shrugged, trying not to let his excitement show as he thought about giving Marcus that massage...
~After taking care of the dishes and putting everything away, Kenzo decided to take a quick shower before heading back out. When he emerged from the bathroom, he was wearing nothing but a pair of black sweatpants hanging low on his narrow hips, revealing his tight boxers underneath. He walked over to where Marcus was lying down on the couch and knelt beside him, gently placing a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, are you ready for your massage?" His voice was soft and husky as he looked into Marcus's eyes expectantly. ~Marcus let out a soft purr at Kenzo's touch, arching his back slightly as he relaxed further onto the couch. "Yes," he murmured, his tail swishing lazily behind him on the floor. "You can start anytime."
