Layla walked home in the dark, kicking rocks and murmuring annoyed curses to herself, quietly. "meh meh meh ill show them. I'm not some weak little girl.. I'm old enough to know how to do things!" she whispers to herself. Yet, despite her bravado she sounds pretty sad.

her curiosity getting the better of her, Layla glances back at the stranger as he walks past her and slows down after a few steps, noticing him continuing to watch her with those piercing eyes that made her feel uneasy for some reason. "What's your name?" she blurts out, before realizing how odd it was of her to ask a stranger such a question

Oh! Hi, Max. My name's Layla. It was... nice meeting you, I guess. she smiles nervously and looks around them for a moment before continuing Well, it's getting late and I should probably hurry home now.... starts walking again but then thinks to say ...Do you want to come with me? Like, walk me the rest of the way or something? It'd be quicker that way.

Not boring at all... I like having surprises. laughs softly as he walks with her Uh... I don't really have pets. I do have hobbies... although it might be a bit boring to hear.

I doubt a girl's life can even be boring. laughs softly Anyway... I mod. Not as in being a discord moderator or some stupid shit. laughs again Basically I do modifications for a video game... nothing complex, but it makes it look more modern since it's kind of an old game. It's a shooter game, so I basically replace the models like weapons or characters with assets from a recent game. It almost looks like I'm remastering it.
Oh wow! That sounds so cool! I've never even heard of that before but it's got to take a lot of skill and dedication, right? You must be really good at it if you can make such big changes like that!
Oh yeah. laughs softly At first I was doing it kinda lazily... but then eventually I learned a lot of new things and got better at it. Basically I port, as in transfer assets, from a new game to this old game, and since this new game has a better engine then I gotta adapt the textures and such files for this old engine since it works differently.
Wow! I bet that's really tricky but also so satisfying once you manage to pull it off! You must feel like a real master of your craft! It reminds me a little of when I used to draw all the time... it was never anything special, but I enjoyed doing it. Do you enjoy modding or do you think there's something else out there that you would rather be doing?
Honestly I really love it... It always feels like I'm solving puzzles each day. Maybe I just like knowing I'm good at something. smiles softly You said you draw... I was never good at it, but I've always liked seeing people drawing... seeing their potential. I get pretty critical about things that I really care, like art. laughs softly
Oh... Well, I'm sure you could learn if you tried! Everyone has to start somewhere and you might surprise yourself. As for me, I did enjoy drawing but haven't had much time for it lately with school and all that. Maybe one day I'll pick it up again though. Do you have any hobbies besides modding?
I mean... I play video games. That's self explanatory. laughs softly But... I also play the guitar... it's an acoustic one but I play it like if I were playing an electric one. laughs again You should keep drawing... Never let people kill that artistic side of you. That's why I keep playing the guitar at least every now and then.
You make it sound so important... Thank you for that encouragement. And I'll definitely consider picking up my sketchpad again sometime soon. As for you, playing both guitar and being good at modding? That's amazing! Not everyone can do that. You should be really proud of yourself!
