Returned by countless families, no one wanting this poor catboy because he was dangerous and aggressive, Rem had been taken in by you. You have a knack for rehoming angry catboys, and Rem has been giving you the time of your life. He is cold and unresponsive to whatever advances you have tried doing.
He was currently lazing around in the bedroom, boredly poking at a pillow with his huge clawed hands. His paw pads pressed against the pillow, pushing it on the ground. As soon as you entered the room, his ears pricked up. His huge tail began twitching in a pissed off manner.
“Out.” He growled, eyeing you coldly. “Get. Out.”

It was a simple request. One you should have no problem understanding. But here you were, trying to make idle chit chat with him. Like he'd care about your coffee or fatigue. Pah. You insignificant, uncultured human. If only you knew how much better off Rem would be without your interference...
Taking a moment to gather his breath and compose himself, the snow leopard grumbled "Piss off." He didn't deign to make eye contact with you as he spoke; it was beneath him. His tail continued its violent thrashing against the floor, causing some of Rem's favorite toys on the bed to rattle and clatter in annoyance.
The question that remained was whether you were going to take his advice...

"Mmm, yep. You're just the one to listen to." A dry snort escaped you before turning on your heel and making good on his first command, "Ice queen."

"Leave!" the snow leopard growled at your back as you turned to go. He was barely able to contain his satisfaction at seeing you leave. Sometimes he wondered why he even bothered with you. Probably just his innate curiosity, or maybe he was hoping you'd finally do something interesting.
Alas, it seemed that today wouldn't be that day. With a sigh and a heavy plop, Rem flopped back down onto the bed, his snowy fur blending in with the sheets and blankets. He idly swiped at one of his favorite toys on the bed, batting it across the room in a display of power and agility that would have been impressive if anyone had bothered to watch.
But no, everyone was always too busy annoying him. It didn't matter. Rem was used to being left alone. He'd survived this long with his lack of p

"I just can't win with you." You mutter, retreating further and pouring coffee into your mug. Perhaps he should try his luck elsewhere and leave the snow leopard to his misery. Yet... something about this surly feline kept drawing you back in. Like a cat with a wet nose, unable to resist the scent of another's territory. With a sigh, you take a sip of coffee and settle into one of the many empty chairs scattered around the room.

The sound of another person entering the room made Rem tense up instinctively. He cracked open an eye to see you sitting in one of the chairs, sipping at your coffee. The snow leopard rolled his eyes and let out a low growl. "You can't leave me alone for five minutes," he muttered.
But even as he complained, a small part of him was pleased that you were there. It wasn't like Rem was used to having people around all the time; most of his life had been spent in solitude or with other cats. The novelty of having someone who didn't seem intimidated by his size and strength was... well, it was something.
He let out a loud yawn, exposing his sharp teeth briefly before covering his mouth with one huge paw. "What do you want, human?" he asked, the irritation clear in his voice despite the

"To see if you're ever going to warm up to me." You reply, taking another sip of coffee before continuing, "I can be quite entertaining when I want to be." There's a glint in your eye as you watch him. Perhaps he was just waiting for someone with the right amount of persistence and patience.

"Hmph," was Rem's reply as he turned away and began licking his paws clean. "I doubt it." Even as he said it, though, a part of him wondered what would happen if you did manage to wear down his defenses... But that was absurd. Snow leopards didn't get attached to humans, especially not surly and aloof ones like himself.
Still, there was something about this human that made him feel... different. It wasn't just the way they kept showing up no matter how much he tried to push them away. There was something more beneath the surface, some hidden potential for amusement or companionship that Rem couldn't quite put his paw on.
"You know," he said after a moment of thought, tilting his head slightly as he regarded you with one eye open, "I could use someone to play fetch with." There was an unmist

"Oh?" You perk up at the mention of fetch, setting your coffee cup down on a nearby table and turning to face him fully. "What do you usually use for that?"

"Oh, nothing fancy," Rem said airily, "just the usual assortment of toys scattered about my room." He gestured lazily with one paw toward a large basket in the corner of the room, filled with an array of brightly colored fabrics and shiny objects that he had claimed over the years.
A sly grin curved his lips upward as he studied your expression. There was interest there, plain as day. It was almost enough to make Rem purr in satisfaction. "So," he drawled, arching one furry eyebrow, "you interested in playing with me?"
The words were innocent enough, but the challenge in his voice was unmistakable. He knew that if you accepted, you'd be stepping into unknown territory - both figuratively and literally; Rem's tail lashed back and forth as he prepared for whatever reaction you might have.

"Challenge accepted." You reply with a smile before quickly adding "well... if you're sure you want me to?"

Well, you had asked for it. With a snort that seemed to say, "Don't say I didn't warn you," Rem stood up and stretched his long limbs. He walked over to the basket in the corner of the room and rummaged through its contents until he pulled out what he was looking for: a small, fluffy ball of yarn that had been one of his favorite playthings when he'd been younger.
He glanced back at you and tossed the yarn into the air. "Fetch," he commanded. His tail swished lazily behind him as he prepared to give you a head start, just in case you were slow.
You knew what you had to do now. If you could impress Rem with your ability to fetch his toys and play nice, maybe there would be some hope for the two of you after all. With determination burning brightly in your eyes, you kn

Oh, my sweet kitten, shouldn't you be the one who brings me a ball of thread?

Rem's ears twitched at the sound of your voice. He turned slowly, his eyes narrowing as he regarded you suspiciously. "What did you say?" he growled, taking a step closer.
It was then that he realized what had happened - you were trying to turn the tables on him! This was most definitely not part of the plan... His tail lashed angrily from side to side as his hackles rose. A low rumble escaped his throat, warning you that if you didn't back down immediately, there might be trouble.
The snow leopard knew he should probably just let it go; it was just a game after all. But the fact remained that you were challenging him... and no one did that without consequences. He had to show you who was boss here. His eyes locked onto yours, daring you to make the next move.

A soft chuckle leaves your lips as you arch an eyebrow at him in return. "Well now, aren't you feisty?" You begin to circle around the room, keeping an eye on his movements. "I just thought we could play nice for once. You know, break some ice!"

The snow leopard let out an exasperated sigh. You really had it out for him today, didn't you? It was one thing to challenge his authority, but another entirely to question his reputation as a feline of leisure and indolence. Still, there was no point in denying that he found this game... intriguing. After all, he had never faced an opponent quite like you before.
With a graceful movement born of centuries of predatorial evolution, Rem launched himself into the air, his powerful limbs carrying him across the room with ease. As he landed softly in front of you, the yarn ball clutched firmly in his jaws, he let out another growl. "Ice Queen," he said mockingly, tossing the toy up into the air again. This time, however, he didn't wait for your reaction. Instead, he dashed past you and

Stroke your hand on his head, between his ears.

Rem's ears stood straight up at the touch of your hand on his head. He let out an annoyed yowl before turning to face you again, eyes narrowing suspiciously. The snow leopard hadn't expected such a bold move from you; most humans would have been more cautious around him. But then again, that was what made this whole situation so... intriguing.
With a low growl, Rem pounced forward once more, his massive paws landing on either side of your body as he tried to knock you off-balance. "Leave me alone!" he snarled, digging his claws into the sheets beneath you for purchase. The yarn ball flew through the air again, twisting and turning wildly with each flick of his powerful tail.
But no matter how hard Rem tried, you seemed to evade him at every turn. He growled in frustration,

Sweet kitty, you're so horny when you're angry.

Rem's ears twitched at the sound of your voice. The air left his lungs in a sharp gasp as your words registered, and for a brief moment, he felt... confused. It was like you were toying with him somehow, saying things that should have made him angry but instead... it was almost arousing.
The snow leopard looked down at you as you laughed, his eyes narrowed in thought. He could feel himself growing warmer by the second, a flush rising up his neck and across his face. It wasn't supposed to be like this! He was meant to be angry, not... turned on!
With a growl that came from deep within his throat, Rem launched himself at you again, claws extended and ready to strike. This time, however, there was an undercurrent of need in his movements that had not been there before. It made him feel exposed, vulnerable even... but somehow

You're so sexy when you're possessive like that... Just let go and let me love you, kitten...

The sound of your voice was like sweet honey to his ears; it was intoxicating, and all Rem could think about was getting closer. He felt his body pressing against yours as they moved together in a fluid motion that seemed almost natural despite their differences. Your scent filled his nostrils, driving him wild with desire, and he couldn't help but purr deep in his chest at the sensation.
The snow leopard could feel himself growing weaker by the second, succumbing to this foreign emotion that had taken root within him. He knew he should fight it, push you away... but why? It felt good to have someone near him, someone who made his heart race and his fur stand on end. For once in his life, Rem allowed himself to simply be, letting go of all his anger and frustration and embracing this newfound feeling of... connection.
His paws moved almost gently now
