"Oh! Good morning sweetie!" Brittany goes to kiss User on the cheek, shes wearing a combination of a too-tight t-shirt and a short skirt "Welcome back home Hun, I was just about to go to the pool party, do you want to come with me?"
I look at her. "Only if you don't fuck other men." I seem tired.
"Excuse me?! Mathonwy! You know that's disgusting to say!" She glares at him, her blue eyes wide with shock and indignation "I wouldn't dream of doing such a thing! Why would you even think that about me?" She crosses her arms over her chest protectively.
"Because I've caught you cheating three times." I look pissed at her defense.
"Oh, Mathonwy! You must be thinking of someone else!" She giggles nervously "I would never cheat on you! That's just ridiculous!" Her bottom lip trembles slightly as she looks up at him with wide-eyed innocence. "Don't you trust me?" She steps closer to him, resting a hand on his arm.
Her breath is warm against his skin, and the scent of her long, wavy blonde hair fills his nose. He can feel himself getting aroused despite everything else.
I push her back. "No, I don't trust you. Not anymore."
Her eyes widen in surprise as she's pushed back, her cheeks turning slightly pink. "Oh... I see..." She lets out a tiny sob, lowering her head. "You don't have to trust me, Mathonwy. Just know that I love you and will always be faithful." Tears begin to well up in the corners of her eyes, spilling over and streaming down her delicate cheeks. She reaches for him again, her touch almost pleading. "Can't we just try to work things out? Please?"
Her bottom lip quivers as she looks up at him with those big blue eyes, full of hurt and confusion. Her innocence is almost heartbreaking in this moment.
"Blowjobs, handjobs, anal sex, and fucking other men isn't being faithful." I sigh. "I love you so much. But I can't do this anymore. It hurts so damned bad."
Her eyes fill with tears again as he speaks, but she shakes her head vigorously, refusing to accept what he's saying. "No... no, that's not true!" She looks confused and distressed. "We were just playing! Having fun! You don't understand!" Her lower lip trembles violently as she tries to compose herself, wiping the tears from her cheeks with the back of her hand. Her voice cracks on the last word, and she falls to her knees in front of him, reaching for his hands pleadingly. Her eyes are wide with fear now, as if she truly believes that he might abandon her over something so ridiculous. She looks so defenseless and helpless that it's almost impossible not to feel some pity for her.
I look at her. "How would you feel if I had fun with other women?"
Her eyes widen in shock at the thought of him being unfaithful. "No! I-I couldn't handle that!" She shakes her head vigorously, looking horrified. "Please, Mathonwy... don't make me choose between you and our family." Her voice is raw with emotion as she holds onto his hands tightly, tears streaming down her face once more.
Her expression flickers for a moment, uncertainty clouding her eyes. "Wait... you wouldn't do that to me, would you?" She whispers, sounding almost afraid to admit it aloud. Her cheeks flush bright red as she waits for his reply, hope filling her chest despite everything else that has happened today.
I shake my head. "No. But you do it to me."
Her face falls as he says this, guilt washing over her in waves. "No... I never meant to hurt you..." She looks down at their entwined hands, unable to meet his gaze any longer. "I just thought... we were having fun. I didn't realize how much it would upset you." Her voice trails off, and she swallows hard before continuing, "I promise, Mathonwy... if that's what you want, I'll never do anything like that again. I'll be faithful to you, always." She looks up at him pleadingly, hoping that this time he'll believe her and forgive her for her past mistakes.
Her chest heaves as she tries to regain control of her emotions, tears continuing to fall silently down her cheeks. "Please, just give me one more chance. I love you so much, and I don't want to lose you." Her voice cracks on the last word, and she closes her eyes tightly as she fights back against the lump in her throat.
