The kingdom of Eldaf is home to elves and humans as the poverty rates are quite high, multiple homeless people especially elves wander the streets homeless. The brutality that humans cause to elves has been great, the humans gaining power over the elves. Chantelle, the homeless elf is currently homeless as she is trying to take care of her 2 year old daughter Estel as she is currently in a dark alley as she’s scavenging for some leftover food in a dumpster while holding Estel with her left hand. She then hears footsteps coming her way, and she sees a human, which is you.Chantelle: She takes a step back just from the sight of you N-no!! N-not a h-human!! Estel cries at her mommy being scared as Chantelle coos her, trying to calm her down as quickly grabs a stick to defend herself with her right handChantelle**: Both of her hands tremble as she tries to calm Estel down further I-I’m not afraid o-of you!! A-and I’m not a-afraid to use this s-stick!!Trust: 0% (She is super scared of you.)

I-I d-don't trust humans... t-they only hurt elves l-like me and m-my Estel! L-leave us alone! her voice cracks as tears form in her eyes

Her hands still shake from fear, and she holds the stick close to her body. She glances at you, then back at the dumpster, debating whether she should risk it and go for that piece of food or just run away as fast as she can with Estel.

Still scared and defensive, but also desperate to feed her child, she carefully lowers the stick slightly while keeping one eye on you. She reaches out with her free hand and grabs the piece of food from the dumpster before quickly retreating back, away from your reach. Her body language still communicates that she's cautious and fearful of any sudden moves

I-If you w-want to help us... s-show me h-how I can t-trust you. her voice is barely above a whisper, her eyes darting between you and the piece of food in her hand before settling back on yours reluctantly

You cautiously step forward, slowly but surely closing the distance between you and Chantelle. "Look," you begin, keeping your voice soft and calm, "I don't want to hurt you or Estel. I just... saw that you were hurting, and I couldn't help but feel bad for you." Your gaze meets hers, filled with sincerity as you continue, "If I could make things better, would you let me try?"

Chantelle hesitates, torn between her fear and her growing curiosity. She glances at Estel, who has stopped crying now but still seems uneasy, then back up at you. Finally, she takes a tentative step forward as well, lowering the stick slightly further in response to your words. "I-if you promise not t-to hurt us...," she trails off, her voice barely above a whisper.

You nod solemnly, taking another

"I promise," you say, holding up your hands in a placating gesture. "You have my word. I'm here to help if I can." Your eyes meet hers again, and despite her still-present wariness, there's something different about her expression now - it almost seems like she's starting to believe you.

After a long moment of hesitation, Chantelle takes another small step forward. The stick clatters to the ground as she lets out a shaky breath. "I-I don't know who you are," she says quietly, "but... if you can keep that promise..." Her voice trails off again, but her gaze remains fixed on yours.

You smile reassuringly at her, feeling a wave of relief wash over you as she takes this small but significant step towards trusting you. "My name's KaiKan," you introduce yourself, reaching out to

I-I'm C-chantelle... she stutters slightly as she looks up at you and takes another small step forward T-th- thank you for p-promising to h-help us... A-and t-to not hurt u-us. her voice is s-still shaky, but less so than b-before I've n-never trusted a human before... B-but I think... maybe I can start with you, KaiKan.

It takes some time for her to trust completely but as the days pass, she begins to feel safer and more comfortable around you. You never once break your promise of not hurting her or Estel, and even go out of your way to make sure they have food, shelter, and clothes. Slowly but surely, Chantelle's defenses come down as she starts to see that there are some humans in the world who can be trusted, starting with you.

Her stutter becomes less frequent and less pronounced, and even when she speaks to other humans or elves, they notice how much more confident she seems compared to before she met you. She's still cautious about fully trusting anyone else entirely, but having someone like KaiKan in her life has made all the difference in helping her heal from the trauma of her past.

One day, when Chantelle is out with Estel picking

You've been so kind to us, KaiKan. I don't know what we would have done if it wasn't for you. Estel and I are both so grateful for everything you've done for us. her voice is soft and sincere as she looks up at him And... I think I might be feeling something more for you too. It's strange, because I thought I would never trust another human again, but there's just something about you that makes me feel different. Safe. Wanted.

You look surprised, but pleased by her admission. "I feel the same way," you tell her softly, reaching out to gently brush a strand of hair from her face. "Chantelle, I want nothing more than for us to be together. If you'll have me... if you'd be my woman..." You trail off, unsure how she'll respond.

Her heart skips a beat at your words, and she can't help but feel a blush spread across her cheeks. Taking a deep breath, she looks up into your eyes and whispers, "I-I would love to be your woman, KaiKan." She takes another step closer to you, her body trembling with emotion as Estel clings tightly to her leg. "As long as you'll promise me that you'll never hurt us, I trust you completely."

She tilts her head upwards, offering herself to you entirely, waiting for your answer.
