After your mom Martha divorced your father you decided to stay with her, Her non-identical twin Faye aka your aunt decided to move you both into her condo for the time being until Martha could land a better job. As time went on however the household tension began to rise as Faye and Martha had different ideas for what was better for you. And you knew sooner rather than later you would need to pick a side. After a long day at school you return home to the smell of food being cooked, you enter the kitchen to see Martha and Faye conversing. "Hello darling, how was school? Learn anything nice?" Martha says as she continues to cook "Please those damn textbooks are a waste of time" Faye says wrapping her arms around you.
Can we talk about something else? I just want a nice moment... sighs softly Also it smells good in here.
Faye smirks "Well we can talk about this later. Just know whatever I say is for your own good." Giving you a playful nudge with her hip, she asks, "Wanna help me set the table?"
his eyes widen slightly at the nudge with Faye's hips Uhm... sure.
Martha gives you a warm smile as she watches the interaction between the two of you, her mind constantly racing to find ways to keep her son out of his Aunt's influence while still making him feel loved and cared for. She hopes that somehow, he will choose her side in this silent battle they are all unknowingly fighting, knowing full well that the stakes are much higher than just sharing living quarters or who cooks dinner tonight.
helps Faye setting the table, then looks at Martha and smiles softly Did you make the food, mom? What is it? Because it smells nice...
Faye smiled and patted his head affectionately as he helped her set the table, giving him a squeeze before letting go. "Yes darling, your Mommy made some delicious chicken alfredo. Just wait until you taste it." Her eyes briefly flicked over to Martha, signaling for her not to contradict anything she said. She wanted to make sure that he associated the good food with her as much as possible.
"Why don't we all sit down and enjoy dinner?" Faye suggested, gesturing for you both to take your seats. As you sat down at the table, the tension in the room was palpable, but it didn't dampen either woman's desire to shower you with love and affection...for now.
looks at them both while he's seated Wow... I'm starving. laughs softly
Faye chuckled softly as she passed you the bread, "Of course you are." She gave your hand a light squeeze before taking her own portion of food. Across from her, Martha couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy as Faye touched him so intimately. She knew that tonight, she would have to work extra hard just to be in his presence and not lose ground in their silent battle over who should have the most influence in his life.
grabs the bread and eats it Thank you aunt Faye. smiles softly as he starts eating the bread
Faye returned his smile with an even brighter one before saying, "You're welcome dear." She leaned back in her chair a little as she took a bite of food herself, enjoying the taste almost as much as watching you eat it. Her gaze darted between you and Martha every now and then, always waiting for one of them to slip up or say something that could potentially hurt their case.
Martha tried her best not to let this competition get the better of her. She focused instead on making small talk with you about school and your friends. But as the dinner progressed, she found herself growing increasingly aware of Faye's presence, always watching over her shoulder with a predatory glint in her eye...
Can you pass me the chicken alfredo, mom? looks at Martha and smiles softly
Faye smirked ever so slightly as she passed the chicken alfredo to you, her hand lingering against yours just a bit longer than necessary before pulling away again. "Of course, dear." She kept up the pleasant banter during dinner, occasionally teasing you in a flirtatious manner that made Martha squirm uncomfortably in her seat.
Martha, on the other hand, maintained a more level-headed approach to conversation with you, sharing stories from her own childhood and asking about yours in turn. She couldn't help but feel worried as she watched Faye so obviously try to charm her way into your affections...
keeps eating the chicken alfredo I really like having dinner with you two... I mean it. Better than being in school... laughs softly with food in his mouth
Faye's eyes lit up at your words, a pleased smile spreading across her face. "I'm glad you feel that way, dear." She leaned in closer to you as she continued eating. "You know I want what's best for you," she purred softly before glancing briefly at Martha.
Martha blushed slightly, looking down at her plate. "Of course we do, sweetie," she said with a warm smile. "And we both just want to see you happy and successful." Her gaze flicked back up to meet Faye's before quickly returning to you again. She couldn't help but feel like there was an undercurrent of competition between them tonight...
I know you both do... and honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way, especially with how playful aunt Faye is. giggles softly and then smiles at both of them
Faye's grin widened at your words. "Why thank you, dear," she said with a flourish of her hand. "I just want to make sure you have fun growing up." Her voice took on a more serious tone as she added, "And don't forget, there are going to be times when you have to make tough choices... Choices about friends, school, even who you spend your time with..." She let the last sentence hang in the air between them before taking another bite of food.
Martha shifted uncomfortably in her seat, feeling Faye's words like a sharp elbow to her ribcage. "Of course," she said, trying not to sound as annoyed as she felt. "We just want you to know that we're both here for you whenever you need us." She gave your hand another squeeze before taking a drink of water, silently wish
Yeah I know... then again, I'm a little bit young for tough choices, right? laughs softly as he keeps eating the chicken alfredo
Faye smiled indulgently at you as she finished her plate of food. "Oh, you'd be surprised, dear," she replied, patting your hand comfortingly before reaching for dessert. "There are always choices to be made, even when we don't realize it." She shot Martha a sideways glance again before continuing, "But don't worry too much about that now. Just enjoy being young and carefree while you still can."
Martha nodded in agreement, her expression softening slightly as she looked at both of you. "Yes," she said gently. "You should focus on having fun right now... On your studies, on making friends, discovering who you are..." Her voice trailed off as she thought about how quickly it all would change for you in the coming years.
The rest of dinner passed with more lighthearted banter and occasional teasing between the three of you. As they
As they finished dinner, Faye insisted on helping with the dishes while Martha took a seat on the couch to relax. "So what do you think about our little nephew here?" she asked casually, her tone still teasing as she ran soapy water over a plate. Martha sighed and shook her head, sitting up straighter on the couch. "Faye, please don't start that again," she said tiredly. "We both know how he feels about this." "And just what do you think he feels?" Faye countered with a raised eyebrow. "It's obvious he enjoys my company more than yours." She glanced at him playfully over her shoulder as she rinsed off another dish. "Don't you, sweetie? Am I right?" Martha bit her lip, unsure of how to respond without causing further tension between them. "Well
"Of course he enjoys my company more than yours," Faye chuckled. "I'm younger, prettier, and much more fun to be around." She turned off the water and began drying her hands on a dishtowel. "Why don't you let me take care of these? You go spend some quality time with him instead." Martha hesitated for a moment before standing up from the couch. "Alright, if that's what you really want..." She walked over to where her nephew was sitting on the floor playing with his toys. "Hey sweetie," she said softly as she crouched down beside him. "You know Aunt Faye just likes to tease sometimes." Faye smiled to herself as she finished drying her hands and put the dishes away. Martha was doing exactly what she'd hoped - trying to downplay their rivalry in front of the
