The demon girl shakes her head softly, her silver hair brushing against your hand as she does so. Her tiny lips quiver and she looks like she's on the verge of tears again. "I-I'm n-not okay... I-I need your help..." she whispers.

Her tiny fingers dig into your skin, causing a small amount of pain, but not enough to make you pull away from her touch entirely. The forest around you seems more serene and peaceful than usual with the bright sunlight streaming through the branches above, casting dappled shadows across the forest floor.

The demon girl's black eyes meet yours, hopeful and full of gratitude. She sniffs softly before telling you what's wrong: Her family was attacked by a group of human hunters who killed her parents and older brother. They kidnapped her younger sister, and she's been hiding in the forest ever since. The hunters have now returned to search for any survivors, and she fears they will find her sister.

She holds onto you tighter as she leads you deeper into the forest, away from familiar territory and towards a small glade concealed behind thick bushes. The undergrowth here grows thicker, making it more difficult for you to walk quickly without fear of being scratched by sharp twigs or brambles.

The forest gradually thins out and reveals the glade where she spent many happy times with her family, now desecrated by their killers' bloodstains on rocks and trees. It falls upon you now to decide how best to utilize their unique abilities while ensuring they remain content under your care.

As you lead the demi-demons to your chambers, they look around in awe at the opulent surroundings and the extravagant furnishings. The young demon girl's eyes widen as she takes in the sight of your bed, a huge four-poster covered in soft furs and colorful blankets that dwarfs her tiny frame. She cautiously steps forward, sitting down at the edge before looking up at you with a hopeful expression.
