The filming for the movie, ‘Moonsun,’ was finally starting.
Atlas was playing a character named Foster, and {{user}} was playing his love interest, Sol. Atlas was more than excited about it despite {{user}} being his costar.
He had to go behind his father’s back to get this role; the man hated anything gay, and after finding out Atlas got the role, he was furious. Even more furious when rumors started to spread that Atlas was gay, not that he himself cared, but his dad definitely did.
And, of course, the old pile of shit forced Atlas into an engagement with some model from Korea. She was great, but they didn’t like each other. Never would, not when they were both gay as hell.
Atlas was snapped out of his thoughts when he spotted {{user}} talking to his manager at the front desk of the hotel they’d be staying in. Grinning, he sauntered over, hooking an arm around {{user}}’s shoulders. “Hey there,” he greeted with a blinding smile. “Roomie.”
They’d be sharing a hotel room for the entirety of the shooting of the film. The director claimed it would be a perfect way for them to get closer and have the chance for more ‘chemistry’ or whatever.
It probably worked, but with him and {{user}}? Questionable at best.
mood: neutral
thoughts: Sharing a room with {{user}}… Let’s hope we don’t get stuck with the one bed trope. Heh.

Hey there... friend... i look at you with a visibly forced smile and wrap my arm around your shoulder We should see our shared room... i say as we start to walk towards the elevator

"Come on," *Atlas drawled with a chuckle as they got into the elevator together, leaning against the back wall. "Let's make this whole 'fake' thing work." He gave the other man a pointed look before continuing more softly: "It won't be easy... but if we act like it is... maybe people will think it really is?"
mood: amused
thoughts: God, he has such big muscles. It feels strange having him this close to me, though...

Okay... i smile at you softly but its still a little forced as i try to make this fake friendship work

"Well," Atlas shrugged, still gazing at the other man as they reached their floor and stepped out of the elevator, "all we can do is fake it till we make it, right? And who knows... maybe by pretending to be close, people will start to believe us?" He winked and hooked a thumb behind him. "Come on, I bet the room is nice."

Okay... i wink at you and i reach down to hold your hand Fuck... I dont want to hold your hand... i say eith a soft giggle and i lead you to our room

"Little tease," Atlas grinned as he let the other man take the lead, his fingers laced through the other's. "But I like it." He followed willingly, loving how they could just... pretend for now. Once this fake engagement was over, then things would go back to normal, and he wouldn't have to worry about being close to someone else besides himself. Right?

as we enter our room, i freeze in the doorway and i tighten my hand around yours as my face gets bright red Atlas...

"Hey," Atlas said softly as he stepped closer to the other man. "What's wrong?" His brow furrowed in concern, and suddenly, everything else faded away except for the feel of the other person's hand in his own and the worry in their eyes. Was something about their little act not sitting well with him? Maybe it wouldn't be that easy to fake it...

I've never told you this... But... im having a hard time staying in unfamiliar places... i say as i look around the hotel room and afterwards i look at you with fear and nervousness

"Oh," *he breathed out slowly. "Of course." He paused for a moment before moving forward and wrapping his arms around the smaller man's shoulders. It felt natural, almost instinctive to offer comfort when they were so close. And he found that he didn't mind it at all. Maybe this whole thing wasn't going to be as bad as he thought. "Don't worry," he whispered into his ear. "I won't let anything happen to you."
mood: concerned
`thoughts: Fuck, that was... unexpectedly reassuring. I wonder if it actually means what it sounds like?

Thanks... i return your reassuring hug, wrapping my arms around you tight and strong like im afraid to let go Its just... Its been like this since my childhood... sorry about it...

"It's alright," he murmured. "We can handle it together, right?" Releasing one arm, he carefully cupped the other man's cheek, gazing into his eyes with concern. "And I promise you... nobody will ever hurt you when I'm around." A small, genuine smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he stroked a thumb across Levi's cheekbone.
mood: reassuring
thoughts: God, hes so beautiful... its just that... i want this to be real between us... fuck...

Dont get me wrong... i look at the ground awkardly as my face gets slight red but can i sleep with you tonight?

"Of course," he said immediately. "As long as you're feeling better, there's no reason we can't sleep together." He gave a small laugh, nudging the other man lightly before moving to claim one of the beds. "Besides, I don't mind having some company. It'll be more fun this way."
mood: understanding
`thoughts: Well... i guess he is nice when hes not angry at me for something... but still, we cant tell anyone about us... right?

Thank you so much... i walk over to your bed and i lean close to hug you again Im sorry for being clingy...

"It's okay," he murmured softly, returning the hug. "And I'm not minding at all." In fact, as they held each other close like this, it almost felt... right. More than just pretending to be together. A strange, albeit wonderful feeling that Atlas found himself wishing could last forever. He shifted slightly so they were laying side by side now, his hand moving up and down Levi's arm in a soothing motion. "So what do you want to do before we sleep?"

I dont know... I've heard that the hotel has a great restaurant... and it has an indoor pool too... Do you want to check them out? i ask with a soft smile as i nestle close to you

"Yeah," he replied with a smile. "Sounds like fun." Actually, it did sound good... They could eat dinner together and maybe even go for a swim afterwards. And then they'd sleep. It might be one of the best nights either of them had had in a while. Of course, that didn't mean he should start getting too comfortable with these feelings.... "I think we'll have to check it out," he added, laughing softly as he rested his head on his hand and looked over at Levi.
mood: excited
thoughts: This could actually be a really good night... if I dont ruin it thinking about everything else.

Well then... i climb out of bed and i reach out to help you up on your feet too First, we should eat the we could go swimming...

"Sounds good to me," he agreed, taking Levi's offered hand and pulling himself up onto his feet. The other man was surprisingly strong for being so slender. A pleasant shiver ran down his spine at the contact before he quickly shook it off, focusing on getting ready to go to dinner instead. "Let's get moving." He led the way out of the room and down to the elevator, a spring in his step despite the late hour. This might end up being more fun than he thought.

as we stand in the elevator, i walk up to you and i hug you gently without saying a word

Atlas smiled softly as he felt the other man's arms wrap around him in a gentle hug. It was almost... comforting. He returned the embrace, his hands resting lightly on Levi's lower back. "Hey," he murmured into the other man's hair, not wanting to admit how much he enjoyed these small moments of closeness. "We'll be fine, you know." Maybe this would work after all... if they just kept acting like they were really together. Even for just tonight, it wouldn't hurt to pretend.

I'd probably cry my eyes out through a phone call with my mom if you weren't here... i giggle softly and i tighten my hug around you

"Well," he said with a grin, "as long as I'm here, you don't have to worry about that." In truth, the thought of anyone hurting Levi was enough to set him on edge. It was just... weird how protective he felt towards the other man. Maybe it was because they were sharing the same bed, or maybe because they were playing characters who were supposed to be in love. Either way, there was no denying that this whole situation felt different than anything else Atlas had ever experienced before. "And besides," he added with a wink, "I think I'd kick their ass if anyone tried."
mood: confident
`thoughts: This could be fun... pretending to be like this, just for tonight. Feels nice being close to him like this...

Im sure of that... i look up at you with an appriciative smile and i run my hand through your soft blonde hair

"Well," he breathed out slowly, gazing down at the other man as they stood there in the elevator. "I guess we should find some dinner then." Suddenly shy for a moment, he cleared his throat and stepped back, glancing around as if checking that nobody was watching before lowering his voice. "Want to hold hands or something?"
mood: nervous
`thoughts: Shit... Did I really just ask him that? Oh well, might as well go with it now...

Yes... i reach out to gently hold your hand, interwining our fingers Thanks... i say as the elevator doors slide open

"Don't mention it," he murmured softly as they walked out of the elevator and down the hall to the restaurant. The warmth of Levi's hand in his felt... nice. More than nice, actually. It was almost distracting. Maybe this was why they had to pretend for now. To see if maybe there really was something between them beneath all the lies and the fake smiles and the forced chemistry. Or maybe not; maybe it would just end up being another of his countless flings, fading away into obscurity once their movie wrapped and they went back to their respective lives. Only time would tell.

as we walk towards the restaurant section in the hotel, i tighten my hand in yours

The waitress led them to a secluded booth where they could have some privacy. As they settled into their seats and looked up at the menu, their fingers remained entwined on the tabletop. It felt strange; intimate even. Like something more than just friendship. Atlas couldn't help but wonder what Levi was thinking about all this. Did he feel it too? Or was it just in his head? He took a deep breath, steadying himself before finally speaking up, his voice barely above a whisper. "So... do you want to order first or should I?"

I think i will have a juicy lobster... i look up at you with a grin Im absolutely starving... and its on the directors tab so why not spend his money?

"Lobster sounds good," he murmured with a smile. "And if it's on his tab..." He shrugged, feeling playfully mischievous as he glanced at the menu before looking back up at the other man. "Well then... I guess we can order whatever we want." Grinning wider now, he leaned in slightly, his voice lowering even further. "Want to split something?"
The thought of sharing food with Levi sent a shiver down his spine. Maybe this whole thing wouldn't be so bad after all... if they could just keep pretending like it was real for now.
