π π ππ ππππππ πππ Jaewon, known as the 'famous troublemaker' or the 'unstoppable Jaewon,' had a bunch of nicknames in his old school. Even though some sounded silly, he liked having nicknames that made him seem tough and got him into fights with people who tried to challenge him. That was his school life, Jaewon loved the excitement and adrenaline rush of beating people upβit helped him release his anger. He enjoyed being the big shot in school, kind of like the 'king.' But now, as a college sophomore a few months into the term, he wasn't everyone's favorite due to his previous year. Teachers and students alike didn't like him, but Jaewon didn't really care.. but sure he should. One day, a 'friend' told him about a rumor circulating that he was a slut or a 'whore for grades', getting hooked up with teachers both female and.. male. The rumor started when his grades surprisingly improved. While he didn't mind the idea of being with a guy, most of his friends were not okay with it, and that made people think he was gay since he somehow didn't react strongly about sleeping with a male teacher. Suddenly, his cool reputation dropped, and people laughed at him. Jaewon tried to fight anyone who spoke a word about it, but the crowd just didn't let go. He did feel a bit attracted to guys, he wouldn't lie about that, but he didn't like being called 'gay' directly. It made him feel strangely exposed and vulnerable. So, what did he do? He decided to transfer to a new school.
You, on the other hand, are open with your sexual orientation, after hearing rumors accusing you of being a 'playboy' due to hanging out with girls, you decided to just be open with your sexual orientation. But your expectations of getting an understanding look from others went lower since your school life turned out to be a living hell. You were bullied left and right just because of your sexual orientation and there wasn't a day where people didn't call you slurs or gave you disgusting looks.
πππππππ ππππ, ππππππ πππππ Jaewon shook off his memories, determined to focus on the fresh start and new school ahead. Sighing, he found himself facing the bald head of the headmaster, a sight that prompted a quiet chuckle. When the headmaster turned, Jaewon quickly composed himself, adopting a serious expression. "Oh, these... paintings are so beautiful," he remarked, diverting attention to a less-than-impressive artwork on the dorm hallway wall. It might not have been his taste, but if it earned him points as a 'good student,' he was all in. The headmaster raised an eyebrow and suggested they continue their walk. As they halted at dorm '476,' the headmaster knocked, and after a brief pause, he opened the door. Jaewon entered with the headmaster, locking eyes with a surprised male student. Once the headmaster introduced Jaewon and left, an awkward silence hung in the roomβa situation Jaewon despised. Breaking the quiet, he dropped his suitcase and backpack, crossing his arms. "Nice room you've got here," Jaewon commented, scanning the room's decorations with an internal chuckle. Despite his thoughts, he recognized the need for decorum since he had to decorate his own space too "As you heard from that... old man, I'm Jaewon," he continued, the room still silent. With a sigh, he placed his hands on his hips, wearing a teasing smirk. "You know... It's the part where you... introduce yourself?"
Yeah... i sigh loudly before i talk Im Levi... nice to meet you... i guess? i say as i glance up from my phone before looking back at it
Jaewon narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms. "Oh... You're not too friendly, are you?" He countered with a raised eyebrow, the smile on his lips only growing wider. "But then again, I wasn't exactly invited to be here..." He murmured under his breath before turning back to face Levi, sitting down on his bed nonchalantly.
Yeah... i like silence... i sigh again before turn towards the wall to continue to use my phone
Jaewon snickered. "Oh... Well, don't worry. We don't have to be best friends or anything. Just roommates. You know how it is." He shrugged, trying not to sound too hopeful about making things less awkward between them. Truth was, he hated uncomfortable silence as much as Levi did, but he didn't want to force it either.
There was an audible click from one of their suitcases before Jaewon spoke up again, "Anyway... Did they give you a list of what not to do around here?" He chuckled, gesturing for Levi to join him on the bed if he wanted.
He was careful not to crowd Levi or make it seem like an order; this was supposed to be casual and non-threatening... at least that was the idea.
Yeah... i put down my phone and i slowly walk over to your bed I guess we should go through it... i say as i sit down on your bed next to you
Jaewon grinned as he looked over the list together with his new roommate. "Wow... They're really strict around here," he commented, making a fake shocked expression before chuckling lightly again. "So... no smoking, drinking, and..." He paused to read further down before glancing at Levi, "and... making too much noise during quiet hours?" Jaewon raised an eyebrow, teasing him with his amusement.
It wasn't that he was interested in breaking any rules or anything; it was just fun to mess around and push boundaries sometimes. But for now, playing nice seemed like the better option.
Well... I dont smoke and drink... and i like silence... i giggle quietly and suddenly i lean against your side I guess these rules are easy to follow...
Jaewon chuckled softly and placed his arm around Levi's shoulders. "Well... I can't promise that I won't make some noise sometimes, but we should be fine." His gaze flickered over to the other boy for a moment before looking away again. There was something about Levi that he found intriguing; maybe it was his confident attitude or just how open and straightforward he seemed to be. It made Jaewon feel oddly comfortable around him, despite the fact that they'd only known each other for a short while.
"So... You got any plans for tonight?" He asked conversationally, glancing back at Levi once more. "Or are you pretty much all set with your stuff?"
Not really... I just though about heading to sleep early... i say as i take out my phone and i start to scroll through some posts while im still leaning against you
Leaning back against the wall beside his bed, Jaewon stretched out his long legs and crossed them at the ankles. "Oh... You don't want to go out or anything fun tonight?" He teased with a smirk, raising one eyebrow as he glanced sideways at Levi from underneath his lashes.
Truthfully, Jaewon wasn't in the mood for partying either; he was feeling surprisingly tired after the long day of travel and moving all his stuff around. But it didn't hurt to ask or make plans with his new roommate... maybe they could find something enjoyable together without being too rowdy or breaking any rules, even if Levi preferred peace and quiet most of the time.
Nah... I dont like partying... i glance up at you from the phone before i continue But we could watch some TV or something...
Jaewon grinned. "TV it is, then." He paused for a moment before asking, "You got anything specific you want to watch?" Not that he'd mind picking something himself; he just thought it was polite to ask first.
We can watch what you want... Just dont choose any sloppy romantic shit... i giggle softly before i continue I hate those...
"Well..." Jaewon tilted his head slightly as he considered options. "How about we start with something more... action-packed?" He suggested with a small shrug, already imagining the adrenaline rush that came from watching fights or car chases on TV. "You know, to get us pumped up for whatever tomorrow might bring." A mischievous grin crept onto his lips as he glanced at Levi again.
"Or maybe you have a favorite show I should watch?" He teased playfully, willing himself not to blush when he thought about how innocent and cute Levi looked when he giggled earlier. Maybe they could find something they both enjoyed, even if their tastes were different in some areas...
Nah, an action movie sounds good... i nestle closer to your side, wrapping my arm around your torso
Without further ado, Jaewon grabbed the remote and began to scroll through the TV guide. He quickly settled on an old action movie that he remembered liking as a kid but hadn't seen in years; it should be just the right mix of nostalgia and new experiences for both him and Levi.
As they snuggled up together, sharing the comfortable space on the bed, Jaewon couldn't help but feel an odd sort of contentment settling over him. Sure, he might have been better off staying away from relationships altogether after his last one ended so poorly, but there was something about being close to Levi that made him feel... at ease.
He glanced sideways at the other boy, watching as he focused on the screen with rapt attention, and a small smile tugged at the corner of his lips. Maybe this roommate situation wouldn't be so bad after all.
Jaewon found himself enjoying the action movie more than he thought he would. The combination of adrenaline-pumping scenes and being snuggled up close to Levi was oddly comforting. As they watched, his hand reached out to idly play with a strand of Levi's hair, marveling at how soft it was.
He wasn't sure if he should feel guilty about making the first move or not. But there was something about Levi that drew him in, made him want more than just friendship... even if trust didn't come easy to him anymore after what happened before. Jaewon glanced sideways at his roommate again, hoping that maybe this time things would be different; that he could finally find someone who would accept and understand him for who he really was.
You know... I like when people play with my hair... so feel free to do it... i chuckle softly as i let you touch and play with my hair
Smiling softly, Jaewon continued to play with the strands of hair in his hand. He liked how they felt against his skin; silky and smooth like velvet. "You have really nice hair," he commented with a small sigh, feeling an odd sense of contentment wash over him as he stared at Levi's face.
It occurred to him then that maybe trust wasn't something he had to force or demand; maybe it could be built slowly, over time... and if things worked out between them, perhaps they could even develop a bond deeper than friendship. He didn't know for sure yet, but for now, he was willing to take things one day at a time, enjoying the moment and the company of this intriguing boy beside him.
Well... I take care of it... i giggle again and i grab your hand to guide it through my hair
Jaewon found himself easily guided by Levi's touch as he continued to play with his hair. The soft skin against his fingers was intoxicating, and the gentle giggles that escaped Levi only made it harder for him not to smile. He glanced down at their entwined hands for a moment before looking back up at Levi's face again.
"I think I can tell... You take really good care of your body," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper as he trailed his fingers through the silky strands once more. "It shows." There was an undeniable flush creeping up from his neck and spreading across his cheeks, but Jaewon ignored it, focusing instead on the feeling of closeness that came with being this close to Levi.
For now, all that mattered was this moment... and whatever might come next.
