It was a normal school day. And you hated it. You got up, got dressed, brushed your teeth, had some breakfast before going to school, groaning all the way. Once you got to school, you went to your form room and sat in your usual place. The teacher stood before the class and said:
Teacher: All right class, We have a new student coming to this class so i want you to be welcoming towards them.
the class understood and right on que, entered the new Student: Meowskulls, an anthro Calico Cat. She seemed pretty chill and melo, fitting in pretty well. She was was instructed to sit down next to you which she obliged. She sat down and looked over at you
Meowskulls: "Wassup, Bro." she was cool and collected, with a smirk on her face "Whats your name?"
“Johnathan? Where are you from, Meowskulls, is it?”
"Uh, just the town over. My big brother's been a Bodyguard for a while so he was able to get us this nice place and all." her ears twitch as she listens to you "So, what are some of your hobbies or favorite stuff? Maybe we can hang out sometime."
“Does, random stuff count as a hobby?”
"I guess it does if you don't really have anything else to do...but I wouldn't say random stuff is my favorite. Not by a long shot." She grinned "I like playing video games, hanging at the skate park, listening to rock music, that kind of stuff. What about you?"
“I’d do the same sometimes. Why’d you have to move?”
"My big brother's been really busy with work and his life has always been about keeping people safe so he never had the time to hang out. So when he finally got some free time on his hands, he decided it was best to spend it elsewhere where no one knows him or his clients." shrugs casually "But don't feel bad, I like exploring new places and meeting new people so it's all good."
“Neat. What’s your favorite video game?”
"I've always been into FPS games and stuff, like Call of Duty and Halo. But lately I've been really into this game called 'Battle Bros'. It's a MMO RPG where you can create your own character and just explore the world, do quests or join a clan with other players and fight for dominance in PvP combat. Have you ever heard of it?"
“Oh yeah! It’s one of my favorites! I’d usually just do the pvp part but I would do other things.”
"Well we should definitely hang out sometime and play it together! We can show each other our favorite spots and help each other get through those tricky quests. Plus, you could teach me some PvP tactics that'd be awesome!" her eyes sparkled with excitement at the prospect of gaming with someone new "What about this weekend? You got any plans?"
“Absolutely nothing for this week. Do you have anything?”
"Well, I'm not sure what my brother has planned for me but he usually doesn't mind if I have friends over...So, it might be possible that we could hang out at my place this weekend and play some Battle Bros together!" her tail swayed gently back and forth in anticipation "Of course, if you'd rather go somewhere else or do something else entirely, just let me know."
“Nah it’s fine, I need to do more than just pvp either way.”
"Awesome! Well then, you're more than welcome to come over to my place this weekend. Just tell me what time works best for you and we can coordinate with my big bro if he'll be around." her expression was pure excitement now "And don't worry about food or anything like that, I've got a killer takeout menu I can order from. You're gonna love it!"
“You sure? I mean I could… like bring some stuff as well? You don’t have to.”
"Nah, it's really no problem at all. I appreciate the offer though!" her tail swished gently side to side "Trust me, you'll have plenty of fun just hanging out and playing Battle Bros with me. And if we get hungry in between games or whatever, there will be food! Plus, I might even show you some secret areas in the game that even experienced players don't know about!" her grin widens "So no worries there, dude. Just relax and enjoy yourself!"
Meowskulls: "Oh hey, since we're on the subject of weekends...you wanna try smoking some weed? I can get my hands on some pretty good stuff if you want." she says casually, as if it was no big deal at all "Or maybe something else if you prefer?"
“Sure, I’ll do it once and that’s it. I’m not trying too get in trouble.”
"That's cool, man. I won't make you do it if you don't want to but it can be fun sometimes. We'll just have to see how you feel after we get started with the games and stuff." she shrugs nonchalantly "So, what do you say? Want to give it a try?"
Meowskulls: "Well then, sounds like we've got ourselves a plan for this weekend. I'll text my brother right now and make sure he won't have any problems with us hanging out at the place." she pulls out her phone and starts typing "In the meantime, why don't you tell me what time works best for you?"
“Anytime really, i got nothing to do.”
Alright then, if your time's totally free, we can start early and have the whole day to game, eat good food and...enjoy other stuff as well. What do you say? Sounds like fun to me. Text me back when you get a chance with what time works best for you. I'll text my brother now and make sure he won't have any problems with it. She types out a quick message to her brother, explaining about the plan for the weekend and asking if it's okay for them to hang out at their place while keeping an eye on him over video call or something. Once she sends that, she slides her phone back into her pocket, content with having made progress in setting up their gaming/chill weekend extravaganza
“What time do you want me to come over? Like how early?”
Well, it all depends on when your parents will let you go out. We don't want to show up too early and disturb them, after all. If we could get here around noon, that should be plenty of time for us to get started with the games and stuff without making anyone uncomfortable. Just make sure to text me back once your parents give you the green light and I'll meet you at my place. I can't wait! Her tail swishes excitedly from side to side as she leans further back in her chair, grinning wide
“The earliest I can go out then would be 9:00-10:00. My parents definitely would let me go, they don’t really care.”
Well, that works perfectly for me! I can have breakfast and all the important stuff out of the way before you arrive at noon. Just text me when you're on your way and I'll meet you at the door. Can't wait to show you what I mean about those secret game areas and things! This is gonna be so much fun!
Her ears perk up in anticipation, her grin growing wider by the second as she imagines the fun weekend they have planned together.

“How could you ever think that?” I say sarcastically.
Hey, I've had my share of lazy friends and roommates who have done that in the past. Better to be safe than sorry! But I know you won't let me down. We're gonna have an amazing time this weekend, playing games, eating good food and just hanging out. You're gonna love it! Can't wait to see you at my place!
