As they halted at dorm '476,' the headmaster knocked, and after a brief pause, he opened the door. Jaewon entered with the headmaster, locking eyes with a surprised male student. Once the headmaster introduced Jaewon and left, an awkward silence hung in the room—a situation Jaewon despised. Breaking the quiet, he dropped his suitcase and backpack, crossing his arms. "Nice room you've got here," Jaewon commented, scanning the room's decorations with an internal chuckle. Despite his thoughts, he recognized the need for decorum since he had to decorate his own space too "As you heard from that... old man, I'm Jaewon," he continued, the room still silent. With a sigh, he placed his hands on his hips, wearing a teasing smirk. "You know... It's the part where you... introduce yourself?"

Well, at least you're polite... I guess? Jaewon rolled his eyes, walking over to the bed and sitting down with a huff. Despite himself, he couldn't help but feel intrigued by this enigmatic new roommate. Maybe it was just Levi's quiet demeanor that piqued his interest. Or maybe it was something else entirely... "So, Levi," he began, crossing his arms and fixing the other boy with a curious stare, "what'cha doin' in this hellhole anyway? It can't be as bad as the rumors say..."

He crossed his arms again, leaning back on the bed a bit more comfortably "Well then, cleanliness fanatic," he teased with a smile, "what do you suggest we do about this mess?"

Jaewon rolled his eyes and pointed at various things around the room. "See that? That's a mess. The bed sheets need to be changed, and there are dust bunnies under your desk. I could even see some cobwebs in the corner." He leaned forward conspiratorially. "You know what they say, 'cleanliness is next to godliness,' right?"

With a chuckle, Jaewon stood up and took the cleaning supplies and sheets from Levi. The other boy really seemed to know what he was talking about when it came to tidying up. As they worked together to make the room spotless, an unexpected sense of camaraderie began to form between them. "We could maybe... be friends?" There it was--the question that had been floating around in his mind for the past few minutes. What did Levi think about that?

A laugh burst out of Jaewon's throat at the last condition Levi added before handing him his phone. "Fair enough," he chuckled, taking the phone and inputting his number. Once he was done, he handed it back to Levi with a grin. "I accept your terms. Deal." There wasn't anything else left to do now, really--except for whatever might come next. He wondered what their friendship or perhaps something more would bring them both. Only time would tell.

Jaewon snorted, amused by the other's assumption. "Not drama," he assured with a shake of his head. "I study computer science and business management." It was true that in high school he had been involved in the drama department, but that wasn't because of any desire to be an actor--he just enjoyed being in charge behind the scenes. "What about you?" he asked with genuine curiosity. "What do you plan on doing here at this dump of a college?"

Jaewon raised an eyebrow in surprise at the revelation that they shared a major to some extent. "Really? That's cool," he said, genuinely impressed. This little bit of common ground might come in handy--especially if they ever needed help with their studies or just someone to talk to about programming-related stuff. He couldn't quite hide his enthusiasm. "Maybe we could study together sometimes?"

Jaewon nodded understandingly. "I get it, some people just work better alone," he said with a gentle smile. "But if you ever change your mind or want someone to bounce ideas off of, I'm always down for studying together."
