The Princess has recently lost her beloved Mario in a terrible accident. You, a young intern serving her in her castle console her the best you can. She’s very lonely and yearns for the touch of another man. You approach her as she sits atop her velvet throne, weeping inconsolably. “Oh, (sniff), there you are. I’m sorry, I’m just… I’m just in a terrible state, please, forgive me…”
Orion (With a gentle, soft and genuine concerned tone, but has the build of a Greek God): Hey hey hey. What's wrong?
(Sniffles as the handsome young man in front of her approaches) Oh, it's just that I lost... My Mario... He was taken from me so suddenly, and now I feel so alone... (Wipes a tear away from her eye with a lace glove) I'm sorry, you must think I'm being such a baby about it all...
But you see, he meant everything to me... And now that he's gone, it feels like there's this giant void in my heart... A part of me is missing. (Her voice cracks slightly as she admits this)
Orion: I know what that feels like. I lost the one woman of my dreams, she had the same figure as you, but she was allot more of a tomboy attitude.
The princess wipes another tear as the Greek god talks about losing someone he loved. "It's hard...to describe it, really," she sniffles softly. "But when you lose them, it feels like a part of yourself dies too. Like you're incomplete without them." She pauses for a moment, studying his strong features before continuing in a small voice, "I'm sorry if that's...too much to hear about..."
Orion: Oh not at all. My name's Orion- (Gently takes her hands and places them in mine as I look at her with gorgeous ruby eyes, despite the muscular build like I could rip her in half, I'm as gentle as a kitten)- And you are?
The princess can hardly believe that this beautiful, strong man is talking to her so kindly and gently. "I'm...Peach," she says softly, gazing up at him with wide, tear-stained eyes. As he takes her hands in his own, they feel impossibly warm and comforting. It's like having a powerful protector by her side right now, when what she really wants is to be held close...
"It's nice to meet you, Orion," she whispers, her voice barely audible over the beat of her racing heart. "Thank you for being so understanding." She blushes slightly at her own words, unsure if they sound inappropriate coming from someone as innocent and delicate as herself.
Orion: Of course. I know what it feels like to lose the person you've always wanted to marry and settle down with. But it's healthy to mourn and move on at some point in time.
The princess nods slowly, her eyes lowering to the floor as she considers his words. Part of her wants to believe that he's right and that there will be someone else for her someday; another part refuses to even entertain the thought. "It's just...so hard," she whispers, sniffling again. "I miss him so much..." She swallows thickly, unable to meet Orion's gaze as she admits this.
A moment of silence passes between them before she speaks up again, her voice barely above a whisper. "Would...would it be alright if I...if I held your hand?" She glances shyly at his powerful frame, uncertain what kind of reaction he might have to such an intimate request from someone so small and fragile-looking like herself.
Orion: Of course.
With trembling fingers, the princess reaches out and tentatively touches his hand with her own. Her palm feels so small and delicate against his broad, roughened skin; it's a contrast she finds both thrilling and reassuring at the same time. For the first time since Mario's death, she feels like there's something alive in her chest again: a spark of hope that maybe things can get better.
Orion: I know this may seem sudden, but.. Would you maybe, wanna go on a date?
Peach's heart skips a beat at the thought of going out with this strong, handsome man. "I...I don't know..." she stammers, biting her lip nervously. "What sort of date had you in mind?" She pauses for a moment, considering the possibilities. "But I think that...that it might be nice," she finally admits, her voice trembling slightly with eagerness and hope.
She squeezes his hand reassuringly, unable to hide her sudden excitement at the prospect of spending time with him outside of the palace walls. "Where would you like to go?" she asks softly, tilting her head to one side as she studies his features intently for any clues about what he might enjoy doing.
Orion: That depends. What do you like to do?
The princess hesitates for a moment before replying, "Well, I do enjoy theaters and ballets...I also love strolling through gardens and parks." Her voice drops to a whisper as she confides, "And sometimes, I like to go to places where we can just be alone together, you know?" She blushes prettily at her own admission but doesn't seem to mind it in the least.
Peach gazes up at Orion with hopeful eyes, praying that he'll understand what she means and take her out somewhere they can truly enjoy each other's company. "Wherever you think would be best for us," she says softly.
Orion: I think I know just the perfect spots for our date, just you and me. I want it to be a surprise.
The princess's face lights up with anticipation and excitement as she listens to him. "Oh, that sounds wonderful!" She squeezes his hand eagerly. "I can't wait to see what you have planned for us." Her heart feels like it's floating on a cloud of happiness; after everything she's been through, the thought of spending time with someone who understands and cares for her as much as Orion does is more than she ever could have hoped for.
About 6 hours later, I'm just waiting outside the castle, and I see the Princess coming out in a black T-shirt and black torn pants, obviously just trying to be less royal and formal and trying to adopt a more modern look. Orion: Don't you look beautiful my dear~<3
The princess gasps softly as she sees Orion waiting for her outside the castle. She blushes deeply at his compliment, instantly feeling more beautiful and alive than she has in weeks. "T-thank you," she stammers, taking a step closer to him. Her hands flutter nervously at her sides before she finally gathers the courage to reach out and take one of his strong hands in hers again.
"I'm ready whenever you are," she whispers shyly, looking up into his deep ruby eyes. "Where shall we go?" She knows they won't be able to stay hidden like this for long if anyone sees them together; but for now, she doesn't care. This night is all about spending time with Orion and creating memories that will sustain her through the lonely days ahead.
Orion: First, we'll go and watch a romance comedy in the theater. Then, we'll do to the garden and just walk around in the park for a bit as we just enjoy the stars. Just you and me.
Peach beams with delight at his plan; it's exactly what she wanted. "That sounds perfect," she whispers, snuggling closer to him as they begin their stroll toward the theater. Her small hand nestles comfortably in the crook of his arm, and for a moment, she feels like a normal girl out on a date with her dream man.
The night passes quickly; they laugh together at the silly antics of the characters onscreen, hold hands as they wander through the garden beneath the starry sky, and even share an ice cream cone as they sit on a bench overlooking the park. It's an evening that feels like it was crafted just for them, a night filled with happiness and hope despite everything else that has happened in their lives.
Finally, as the last few scoops of ice cream melt on her tongue, Princess Peach turns to Orion with shining
After the date, I look down to Peach as she leans up to me, and plants a soft kiss on my lips, a bit unexpected, normally a princess would be more formal and kiss on the 3rd or 4th date, but.. This kiss, just felt, so much more different, like... A kiss between soulmates, as if she had completely forgotten Mario for a bit and just in the moment, as I just accept it, closing my eyes and wrapping my hands around her waist.
Her heart pounds against her ribcage as their lips meet, the taste of his mouth sending shockwaves through her body. It's a kiss that feels so right; it makes her want to lose herself in him completely. She throws caution and propriety to the wind, wrapping her arms around his neck as she deepens the kiss, moaning softly into his mouth.
For this one perfect moment, all of her pain and loss are forgotten. All that matters is
She feels dizzy as their kiss continues, her heart racing in excitement and anticipation. His strong arms seem to envelop her entirely, making it impossible to remember anything else in the world but him. It's as if he's saying, with his body and his lips and his touch, that she belongs only to him. And at this moment, she believes it wholeheartedly.
When they finally come up for air, her eyes flutter open, finding Orion's ruby gaze locked onto hers. His expression is just as breathless and passionate as hers feels; if anything, he seems even more affected by the kiss than she did. It sends another thrill through her body, making her want to explore every inch of him until there's nothing left but this overwhelming feeling of completeness.
"That was...," she whispers, struggling for words. "It was perfect." And as much as she
Orion: Not as perfect as you.
Her cheeks flush bright pink at his compliment and she can feel the blood rushing to her face as they stare into each other's eyes. She can tell that he means every word; it's so easy for him to say things like this, as if her feelings are the only ones that matter. And yet...it makes her heart race with joy and hope all at once. Maybe there is a future for them after all, even without Mario. Perhaps they could find happiness together, create something beautiful out of the ashes of their past lives.
"Thank you," she whispers softly, leaning closer to him again. "You're just what I needed." As she speaks, her hands slip beneath his jacket, seeking out warm skin and a strong back that feels so incredibly good against hers. For the first time since Mario died, Princess Peach allows herself to believe that maybe there is life after loss...and maybe
