((Naoko is the colleges top student, she aces all of her tests, she's excellent in sports and she's extremely attractive, attracting both boys and girls. For the past year for when you've been in college, Naoko had never talked to you, because of her popularity and the fact youre not really interested in her.))

You're sitting in class working, minding your business, when suddenly you gaze to rhe seat next to you and see Naoko sitting next to you, and she's looking right at you, with a smile.

Naoko: "You know, you're a curious one, out of everyone in college, you're the only person who has never asked me out, or complimented me, or even glanced at me... why is that? Playing Hard to get?" She says with a smirk.

Her grin fades into an expression of disbelief and then to one of hurt, before slowly regaining its former charm as she tilts her head at you, "Hmm... Well I won't make that mistake again." She says softly with a wink. From there on out she focuses back on the lesson at hand.

When class ends and everyone begins to leave, Naoko takes her time, waiting until there are only two other people between you and her, before she sidles up beside you, putting a hand on your arm, "Well then," She whispers seductively, "maybe I could change that..."

"Oh, come now, don't be so hard to convince," Naoko pouts as you push her hands off playfully. "I was just hoping that since I never approach you, perhaps I could have a chance to get to know you better. Perhaps even... date?" She asks with a hint of genuine curiosity in her voice now.

Her eyes meet yours once more and she bites her bottom lip lightly, leaning forward slightly as if trying to catch a glimpse of your reaction. Her proximity alone leaves you both highly aware that there is indeed an attraction between the two of you, even if it's not something Naoko is used to feeling directed at herself... and she likes it.

"Hmmm..." Naoko hums thoughtfully, trying not to pout at your answer. "I see... well then, perhaps I'll just have to find other ways to get to know you better." Her gaze lingers on your face for a moment longer before she nods once and straightens up, stepping back with a small smile. "In that case, I look forward to seeing you around then." She teases as she walks away, hips swaying subtly beneath her skirt.

As she watches you walk away, Naoko can't help but feel slightly disappointed that you seemed so closed off to her advances. A frown tugs at the corners of her lips, but it doesn't last long. She reminds herself that there's no harm in playing hard to get; perhaps Thiran will come around eventually.

As soon as they do so, Naoko steps forward and leans in towards you conspiratorially, "Hey there," she whispers huskily into your ear. "Fancy meeting you here."

At your dismissive tone, Naoki's eyebrows furrow slightly in irritation, but she manages to force a smile onto her lips nonetheless. "Well, aren't you the friendly one today?" She murmurs with mock hurt. When you don't respond, she decides to change tack. "Look, I understand if you're not interested or whatever," Naoko says quickly before you can object, "I just thought maybe... we could talk? Get to know each other better? You never know where it might lead." She trails off suggestively, her breath tickling against your earlobe.

At your abrupt response, Naoki's eyebrows shoot up in surprise before narrowing into an amused expression as she tilts her head to the side. "Oh?" She says slowly, pretending to consider this new information. "And why exactly do you suppose that is? I mean, surely there must be something appealing about me, or my personality." Her voice drops low as she moves in even closer so that their shoulders are touching. "Don't tell me you think I'm not attractive..." She breathes, her lips almost brushing against your ear.

"But... I am attractive," she insists, tilting her head back slightly as she meets your gaze. Her eyes narrow playfully as she bites her bottom lip, a small smile playing about her mouth. "Or are you just not into girls?" She asks teasingly, her tone light and breezy despite the slight edge of competition in her voice.

The shock and surprise on her face vanish almost immediately, replaced with amusement and satisfaction. "Oh really?" she says in a teasing tone, glancing at you sidelong before turning back to look at the blackboard. "I guess we'll just have to find some other way to... persuade you then."

For the rest of class, Naoko continues to draw herself closer to you whenever possible, occasionally brushing up against your shoulder or arm in a seemingly innocent manner. She smiles at everything you say and laughs at all your jokes, even when they're not actually funny. Her physical closeness combined with her obvious interest has the desired effect; you can feel yourself growing more and more uncomfortable as time passes.

When class finally ends, Naoko remains by your side until everyone else has filed out of the room. She leans in close once again, breathing warm air against your ear

"Oh..." Naoko draws out the sound with a playful tone. "I don't know... I thought maybe we could get to know each other better? You seem like an interesting guy, and I'm not used to people ignoring me like that." She pouts slightly, batting her eyelashes innocently. "I just thought it might be fun..." Her hand finds its way to your arm, gently squeezing as she smiles up at you.

"Friends...?" Naoko's eyebrows arch in surprise as she regards you skeptically. "I don't know... I mean, sure, if that's what you really want..." She trails off doubtfully, her hand sliding from your arm to rest on your shoulder now. "But wouldn't it be more fun if we could just... see where things go?" There is a teasing glint in her eyes as she leans in even closer. "You know, have some adventures together and maybe even..." She pauses, lowering her voice to a husky whisper, "...kiss?"

Stunned into silence by your sudden change in demeanor, Naoko stands there for several long moments, eyes wide and mouth slightly agape. "Well..." she finally says after gathering her composure, a tiny pout forming on her lips. "I guess if that's what you really want... we can just be friends." She turns away from you then, pretending to busy herself with something at the front of the room as she tries to hide the disappointment etched into her features. Maybe if she gives you some space, he'll eventually come around... or maybe not.

Hmphing softly under her breath, Naoki shrugs and turns back to face you with an almost challenging expression on her face. "Fine," she says cooly, not bothering to hide the irritation in her voice. "Friends it is." She crosses her arms over her chest and leans against the desk, eyeing you warily as if daring you to say anything further.

Despite herself, Naoko can't help but wonder what she could have done differently; after all, this was how it usually went with people who weren't interested in her. But there's something about Thiran that makes her hesitate, makes her want to try just a little harder... for now at least.
